Chapter 16: Instructing the family

God Level Necromancer: My Talent Multiplies All My Gains to 10000x

After killing the remaining gang members throughout the building, Arthur finally returned to the thirtieth floor.

The atmosphere was completely different from before. The Miller family’s elders and younger generation stood silently in the spacious hall. Several other board members were present as well, but none of them dared to leave.

The situation outside was still far too chaotic.

Nobody knew what would happen next.

The arrival of the game had completely overturned the world within a matter of hours. Governments were struggling to understand what had happened, countless people had already entered the game and bring out their abilities.

Leaving the building now would be no different from walking into a battlefield.

Therefore, everyone could only wait.

Soon Arthur arrived at the thirtieth floor again.

His clothes were almost completely clean despite everything that had happened. His expression remained calm, and his footsteps were steady as he walked through the hall.

The moment everyone saw him, the entire room fell silent.

Several board members instinctively lowered their heads.

They had already witnessed enough to understand that the young man standing before them was no longer the useless heir they remembered.

He was a player.

And judging from the terrifying strength he had displayed earlier, he was an extremely powerful one.

Arthur’s gaze slowly swept across the room.

His eyes passed over his uncles, aunts, and cousins before finally landing on the elderly man standing at the center.

Alexander Miller.

His grandfather.

For a moment, Arthur simply stared at him.

Alexander also stared back.

Neither spoke.

Alexander did not know what to say. He knew very well how much Arthur hated him.

In the past, Arthur had always maintained a distant relationship with the Miller family. Even when he occasionally appeared at family gatherings, he rarely spoke to anyone.

He had been bitter, arrogant, and distant.

And Alexander knew that he carried a large portion of the blame for that. He tried to break up his engagement after-all.

Now Arthur had suddenly become incredibly powerful.

Would he abandon the Miller family?

Would he simply leave them behind and establish his own power?

Alexander could not blame him if he did.

After all, the world had changed.

Family relationships that had once seemed unbreakable were becoming meaningless in front of absolute power.

Arthur slowly walked toward him.

His cold expression remained unchanged.

But when he finally stood in front of Alexander, something unexpected happened.

The coldness disappeared. It melted away like snow beneath the morning sunlight.

Arthur suddenly reached forward and embraced his grandfather tightly.

The entire room froze.

Alexander’s eyes widened.

Even his children and grandchildren looked at Arthur as if they had witnessed something impossible.

Arthur had never behaved like this before.

Apart from Amelia, he had rarely shown genuine affection toward anyone.

Yet now, he was hugging his grandfather like a child who had finally returned home after a long journey.

"Old man, I am happy you are alright."

Arthur’s voice was soft. There was even a trace of melancholy hidden within it.

Alexander’s body stiffened.

For a few seconds, he could not respond. Then his eyes slowly became moist.

A single tear rolled down his cheek.

"Brat, do you want me to cry?"

His voice carried a lighthearted tone, although the happiness inside his chest was impossible to conceal.

Arthur finally released him.

"How can that be? If the head of the Millers starts crying like a woman, would that look good?"

Arthur smiled.

Alexander immediately wiped the tear from his face.

"You stinky brat."

He snorted, but there was a smile on his face. The tension that had filled the room suddenly disappeared.

Arthur then turned toward the others.

His eyes moved across his uncles, aunts, and cousins.

"I am happy that all of you are alright."

His gaze finally stopped on Noah’s mother.

"Aunt, I am sorry I was late. You must have been afraid."

The woman immediately shook her head.

"No, no. I am fine. As long as you here, what could happen to us?"

Her voice trembled slightly. She had been terrified only a few minutes ago.

But now, for some reason, she felt completely safe.

The others felt the same.

Arthur was powerful.

He had single-handedly dealt with the gang that had invaded their headquarters.

Yet despite possessing such terrifying strength, he was standing here speaking to them like an ordinary member of the family.

This was not the Arthur they remembered. The previous Arthur had disappeared. The person standing before them now was someone completely different.

He was giving the vibe of a leader, a very capable leadere.

Arthur’s gaze eventually landed on Noah.

"Noah."

"Yes?"

Noah straightened subconsciously.

"You practice martial arts, correct?"

Noah nodded.

"I have been practicing for several years."

Arthur nodded thoughtfully.

"Have you chosen a class?"

"No."

Noah shook his head.

"I did not have access to a gaming pod, and I was still trying to understand what was happening."

Arthur looked at him for a moment before saying, "Then choose the Assassin class."

Noah’s eyes widened.

"Assassin?"

"You have a martial arts foundation and good physical control. The Assassin class should complement you well. If there are still talents available in the beginning, purchase one immediately."

Noah nodded firmly.

"Understood."

For some reason, hearing Arthur acknowledge his martial arts training made Noah feel extremely good.

Perhaps it was because Arthur had already took a place of respect in his heart.

Arthur turned toward the remaining cousins.

"All of you need to enter the game as quickly as possible."

Everyone immediately became serious.

Arthur looked toward Alexander.

"Grandpa, how much liquid money does our family currently have?"

"Approximately five hundred billion Arvian Dollars."

Alexander answered without hesitation.

Arthur nodded.

"Good."

He paused briefly before continuing.

"Transfer fifty billion to each of their accounts."

The entire room went silent again. Several cousins stared at Arthur in disbelief.

"Fifty billion?"

"Each?"

"Arthur, that is too much!"

Arthur raised his hand, stopping their protests.

"Listen carefully."

His voice became serious.

"The old monetary system will not remain valuable for long. Within a short period, gaming currencies will become far more important than ordinary money."

Everyone listened carefully.

"We need warriors, mages, assassins, archers, support classes, and every other useful class in the family. You can choose Alchemist class as well. Do not choose the same class. Build a balanced group."

His eyes swept across his ten cousins, including the two sisters.

"Each of you will choose a different class if possible. If the shop still has suitable talents, purchase one immediately. Don’t worry about money."

Everyone nodded.

"If the talents are already gone, do not waste time searching for it. Enter the game and start leveling."

Arthur’s expression became increasingly solemn.

"Your goal is to build a Platinum Foundation and reach Level 10."

One of the cousins hesitated.

"Arthur, that would cost an enormous amount of money."

"Do not worry about money."

Arthur’s voice was absolute.

"It will become nothing more than scrap paper within ten days."

The cousins exchanged glances. Although the statement sounded unbelievable, nobody questioned him.

Arthur had already proven that his knowledge of the new era was far beyond theirs.

"Do you understand?"

"We understand!"

The response came almost simultaneously.

Arthur nodded.

Then he turned toward the elders.

"Liquidate as much of the family’s assets as you safely can."

The elders looked at one another.

"The gaming currency will soon become the true currency of the world. There is no point holding onto trillions of Arvian Dollars when their value is about to collapse."

He paused before continuing.

"Every one of you must enter the game and build at least a Gold Foundation. If you have enough resources, build a Platinum Foundation."

The elders nodded seriously.

"After reaching Level 10, leave the game and wait for my next instructions."

"Understood."

Even the other board members were nodding despite Arthur not directly addressing them.

Within the next hour, the entire upper management of Evergreen Corporation descended into chaos.

Gaming pods were being purchased through every available channel. Banks were receiving massive transfer requests.

Assets were being liquidated.

Contracts were being terminated.

Executives who had spent decades dealing with traditional business were now desperately trying to understand the rules of Genesis Realm.

The Miller family had become a frenzy of activity.

Arthur stood near the enormous windows of the room, staring down at the city.

The world outside looked almost peaceful. But Arthur knew better. This was merely the silence before the storm.

The descent of the game was only the beginning.

Suddenly, his phone rang.

Arthur glanced down at the screen.

The moment he saw the name displayed there, a cold smile appeared on his face.

Amelia.
