The exquisitely handsome Lin Qiye’s cheeks were flushed with an unnatural red, and he let out soft gasps.

“So hot… why does it feel so hot?”

Lin Qiye felt his consciousness blur, his head dizzy and heavy.

He subconsciously tugged at the collar of his pajamas, revealing his delicate, pale collarbones.

A figure appeared out of the void.

An Qingyu, wearing gold-rimmed glasses, looked at the boy on the bed, whose body was ignited with desire, and curled his lips into a smirk.

The alluring and handsome An Qingyu bent over and began undoing the buttons on Lin Qiye’s pajamas one by one.

Several pieces of clothing fell to the floor.

Seeing the boy’s beautiful body before him, An Qingyu’s gaze grew intense.

He aggressively pressed his lips against Lin Qiye’s.

Lin Qiye felt as if a heavy weight was pressing down on him, and his teeth were pried apart by some force.

“Mm…” he made a muffled sound with his mouth.

His well-defined hands clenched the bedsheet tightly.

He felt his mind go completely blank.

Lin Qiye was woken by the blaring sound of an alarm.

He blinked drowsily as he opened his eyes.

His lips felt slightly hot and sore.

It seemed like he had a dream, but upon waking, he couldn’t remember anything.

Things like this happened often enough that he didn’t pay it much attention.

After changing out of his pajamas, Lin Qiye looked at himself in the mirror.

“As I thought… got bitten by mosquitoes again last night.”

On the boy’s pale collarbone, there was a conspicuous, glaring red mark.

Lin Qiye adjusted his shirt collar to cover it up.

Even though it was just a mosquito bite, when he walked down the street, girls would often stare at his collarbone with odd expressions, then break into teasing smiles.

After finishing his morning routine, Lin Qiye headed to the Peace Affairs Office.

That was where he worked.

A few months ago, under the guidance, well, more like the persuasion, of a senior, he had joined the Night Watch organization.

Their duty was to eliminate mysterious creatures and ensure the safety of the residents.

The Night Watch squad he belonged to was called Squad 136.

He stepped into the second-floor office.

A middle-aged man greeted Lin Qiye with practiced ease:

“Lin Qiye, come over and sit down. We’ve got a new mission.”

Lin Qiye sat on the stool next to the man:

“Old Zhao, have your injuries from the last fight with the Ghost-Faced King healed completely?”

Zhao Kongcheng patted his chest:

“My body’s still as tough as ever.”

“You don’t know, after I took down the Ghost-Faced King on my own last time, the higher-ups awarded me a medal.”

“When I video-called my mom, she knew I had made a merit in the army and was so proud of me.”

Lin Qiye tapped Zhao Kongcheng’s shoulder:

“Not bad, Old Zhao.”

He picked up the cup of water on the table and took a sip:

“By the way, Old Zhao, you said there’s a new mission.

“It’s not another case like last time, helping some old couple deal with their relationship problems, is it?”

A pair of elderly spouses, the husband and wife, had each been having affairs outside.

Coincidentally, these two affairs also involved a married couple.

The husband and wife each went on dates with their respective lovers, only to run into each other at the same hotel.

The elderly couple, along with their lovers, came to the Peace Affairs Office seeking mediation.

The husband and wife started arguing, and the other couple started arguing too.

Just thinking about that memory gave Lin Qiye a splitting headache.

Zhao Kongcheng pulled out a sheet of paper with a snake-shaped monster drawn on it and slammed it onto the table:

“No, this time our mission is to deal with the Nanda Serpent Demon at Tomato University.”

“The serpent demon’s offspring can possess human bodies. We need to locate the demon itself and take it out.”

“When the serpent demon is killed, its offspring will die along with it…”

As Lin Qiye leaned in to listen to Zhao Kongcheng’s detailed briefing on the Nanda Serpent Demon, a tiny chip in the mid-layer of his shoe sole emitted a faint glow.

From the outside, there was no way to tell that a miniature bug was hidden inside the shoe.

Meanwhile, in the sewer…

In a tidy room filled with specimens of various creatures,

An Qingyu, dressed in a white lab coat, paused his dissection.

“Looks like Qiye is going after the Nanda Serpent Demon.”

An Qingyu removed his medical gloves and adjusted the receiver hanging by his ear.

To ensure he could track Lin Qiye’s movements, An Qingyu had installed listening devices in every one of Lin Qiye’s shoes.

An Qingyu lifted the corner of his lips, revealing a shy smile:

“I need to tidy up and get ready for my proper meeting with Qiye.”

He left the operating room, leaving the half-dissected ghost-faced head on the table.

Night fell.

After the squad members had discussed a solution for dealing with the Nanda Serpent Demon, Lin Qiye returned to his residence from the Peace Affairs Office.

He brought a change of clothes and, wearing slippers, entered the bathroom.

An Qingyu lay on the bed with his eyes closed, listening to the sounds coming from the receiver.

He imagined the scene of young Lin Qiye undressing, revealing his flawless body.

The steady patter of water could be heard.

Droplets slid down the boy’s beautiful body, from his collarbone downward.

Passing over his chest, over his abdomen, over his ***, finally falling to the floor.

Thinking of this, An Qingyu forcibly suppressed the heat rising within him, his face full of restraint.

He wished he could pin Lin Qiye beneath him right now.

But considering that Lin Qiye had a mission to undertake tomorrow, tonight he would not bother him.

After all, they would meet properly tomorrow.

The sound of water ceased, replaced by the rustle of fabric.

Estimating that Lin Qiye had fallen asleep,

An Qingyu, full of anticipation for their meeting the next day, whispered:

“Good night, Qiye.”
