Yun was brought to the dining table to eat dinner. He sat down with his grandpa and his three uncles.
There was a feast prepared for him. Grandpa smiled as he gestured to eat, "we prepared a lot. Eat anything that interests you. We don't know what your favourites as a family yet. You can let us know if you want to eat anything."
Yun replies with a slightly hoarse voice, "I am fine with everything except cucumber."
Grandpa smiled, "Good, good. You don't have a lot of things you don't like to eat."
Yun picked up glass of water to drink but his hand was shivered. He spilled some water on the table.
Taehyun smiled, "there, there, is your hand paining? Let me hold the glass and make you drink water."
Yun shook his head but a glass of water was already brought to his lips. He saw uncle Taehyun smiling as urged him to drink water.
He reluctantly drank water from the glass.
Minjae picked up chopsticks and fed him food. Joonseo dropped some of his favourite food on Yun's plate. For the entire dinner, he didn't eat or drink anything by his hand.
Grandpa looked satisfied with how harmonious the family acted. After dinner, grandpa called for a servant to bring Yun to his own room and left.
Yun was escorted to his own room prepared for him inside Choi family home.
His hands were still shivering a little. He quickly went to bath to calm himself down.
He was in bathrobe but he didn't know where if there was any clothes for him to wear.
He looked around the room and saw his wardrobe. There were some pajamas inside but no underwear. He is used to not wear underwear at night so he simply put on pajamas.
He slept without any underwear. But he woke up after a short nap. He saw that the time was only five minutes past one. He was feeling thirsty.
He came outside the room to see that the entire house was dark.
But there was light coming from the room at the end of the floor.
He didn't want to go through the trouble of finding a fridge to drink cold water so he wanted to ask someone directly.
He walked upto the room and he heard that it was his uncles that were talking.
He heard Joonseo complaining, "he's a gold digger! First Brother, are you really fine with taking him into this family?"
Taehyun replied calmly, "If he's a gold digger, then he'll keep digging gold here forever."
Minjae looked at him as he said, "Anyways, your plan to bring Yun and his mom into this family worked well."
Joonseo pouted, "I had to work as a spy for that small upstart gang so that they would attack Yun. I even had to play as a lover with that girl. Good thing we killed that entire gang including that girl after the job was done."
Minjae, "there, there, you did a splendid job even though you are a gay."
Joonseo glared at him, "as if either of you aren't gays. Our father must have wanted Yun because he guessed he wouldn't have blood family."
Taehyun replied, "if that was true, we wouldn't be adopted. No more bad remarks about him. He wanted his family with him. He must be missing them as he got old. We should be family with Yun."
Joonseo rolled his eyes, "alright. It's not like I dislike Yun but manipulative people like him aren't my type."
Minjae punched Joonseo's shoulder, "hey, were you going to lay your hands on him if he was your type?"
Joonseo retorted, "Yun should worry about you. You would lay hands on him even if he was a blood relative."
Taehyun repeated again, "Like I said, accept him as your family. We already did so much for our father's sake."
Yun was shocked by the entire conversation. His entire world view was turned upside down.
'Manipulative? Me? Sure I am, but what are you bastards? Attacking me and my mom. Killing an entire gang of people. You guys are simply... I can't even find the words to describe you.
Yeah, you are a mafia family. Now, I understand why my mom was worried about me being part of this family."
Yun looked up to Taehyun's ass as he thought, 'You wanted a family huh? I will show you what kind of family we can be..."
