Kaelrith needed stronger foundations.
Real infrastructure.
Real engineering.
And perhaps sensing the growth of the settlement— the system finally evolved.
A blue notification suddenly appeared before Kaelen several days earlier.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
SYSTEM SHOP UNLOCKED
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Currency:
Civilization Coins
Coin Generation:
1 citizen = 1 coin per day
Current Population:
500
Daily Income:
500 Coins
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Kaelen had nearly laughed when he first saw it.
“So population becomes currency…”
Interesting.
That meant:
• larger civilization
• more people
• stronger economy
Everything connected together naturally.
And now— after ten days—
Kaelen possessed exactly five thousand civilization coins.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Current Balance:
5000 Coins
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
At first, Kaelen had explored the system shop with excitement.
Then immediately lost excitement after seeing the prices.
Dragons.
Ancient weapons.
Magic towers.
Advanced machinery.
Legendary materials.
Everything existed within the shop.
But most items cost ridiculous amounts.
Millions.
Even tens of millions.
Kaelen nearly cursed aloud.
“At this rate I’ll die before buying anything useful.”
Still— some beginner items remained affordable.
And those were enough.
Because Kaelen understood something clearly.
Civilization itself was the true foundation of power.
Not magical weapons.
Not dragons.
Infrastructure.
Industry.
Production.
That was real strength.
So after carefully studying the system shop for hours—
Kaelen made his choice.
“Cement.”
The blueprint glowed before him.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Blueprint:
Cement Production
Cost:
500 Coins
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Kaelen immediately purchased it.
Blue light flashed.
Then enormous amounts of knowledge entered his mind instantly.
Limestone.
Clay.
Heating process.
Grinding methods.
Mixture ratios.
Kaelen’s eyes widened slightly.
“So that’s how cement is actually made…”
He quickly realized how valuable this was.
Stone walls.
Fortresses.
Roads.
Large buildings.
Cement changed everything.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Purchased:
Brick Production Blueprint
Cost:
500 Coins
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Purchased:
Metal Rod Production Methods
Cost:
500 Coins
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Purchased:
Industrial Tool Crafting Knowledge
Includes:
• Nuts
• Bolts
• Basic Connectors
• Structural Components
Cost:
500 Coins
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Kaelen exhaled slowly.
Two thousand coins already gone.
But he wasn’t finished.
What he truly needed— was knowledge.
So Kaelen spent the remaining coins on engineering and construction books translated automatically into the tribal language of Kaelrith.
Civil engineering.
Road construction.
Drainage systems.
Storage buildings.
Water channels.
Defensive walls.
Housing structures.
Everything.
By the time he finished purchasing— his balance had nearly reached zero.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Remaining Coins:
0
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Kaelen leaned back in his chair and smiled slightly.
Worth it.
Absolutely worth it.
Knowledge created civilization.
And civilization created power.

The following morning—
Kaelen summoned Mira Stoneveil to his house.
Mira entered carrying rolled construction maps beneath one arm.
“You called for me?”
Kaelen pointed toward a massive stack of books covering the table.
Mira blinked.
Then slowly approached.
As she opened the first book— her expression changed instantly.
Road construction.
Drainage systems.
Structural support.
Advanced housing.
Stone foundations.
Her eyes widened further with every page.
“Kaelen…” she whispered slowly.
“Where did you even get this knowledge?”
Kaelen smiled faintly.
“Does it matter?”
Mira stared at him for several long moments before sighing deeply.
“…No.”
She grabbed another book quickly.
Then another.
Kaelen crossed his arms.
“Mira.”
She barely looked up now.
“What?”
“You’ll oversee all future construction.”
This time she finally looked directly at him.
“You realize I’ll be busy for weeks… maybe months?”
Kaelen chuckled.
“I know.”
Mira rubbed her forehead while laughing helplessly.
“Sigh… you’re insane.”
Still—
Because even she understood the importance of this knowledge.
Kaelrith was about to leap centuries ahead.

Later that same day—
Kaelen summoned Borin Ashhand and Kael Draven.
Borin entered smelling heavily of smoke and iron.
Kael arrived moments later covered in dirt from scouting missions.
Kaelen spread several rough material sketches across the table.
“Listen carefully.”
He pointed toward the diagrams.
“These are materials needed for cement production.”
Kael leaned closer curiously.
“White stone?”
“Limestone,” Kaelen corrected.
“Usually near mountains and river regions.”
Kaelen pointed toward another sketch.
“And clay deposits.
We’ll need enormous amounts.”
Borin crossed his arms skeptically.
“And what exactly does this ‘cement’ do?”
Kaelen smiled slightly.
“It changes construction forever.”
Both men frowned in confusion.
Kaelen continued explaining.
“Stone walls stronger than wood.”
“Buildings taller and safer.”
“Roads that survive rain.”
“Massive structures.”
Their expressions slowly changed.
Especially Borin’s.
The blacksmith leaned closer toward the blueprints seriously now.
Kaelen handed him several books.
“These contain production methods.”
Borin carefully opened the pages.
Then froze.
His rough eyes widened.
“Metal shaping…”
“Heat treatment…”
“Structural reinforcement…”
The old blacksmith suddenly looked at Kaelen as though seeing him for the first time again.
“Where are you learning all this?”
Kaelen simply smiled.
“Focus on producing it.”
Borin stared silently for several seconds before slowly nodding.
“…Understood.”
Kaelen turned toward Kael Draven next.
“Take rangers and scouts.”
“Search mountains, rivers, and cliffs for these materials.”
He pointed toward the resource sketches again.
“I’ve marked likely locations.”
Kael grinned excitedly.
“So another exploration mission.”
“Yes.”
Kaelen’s expression sharpened slightly.
“And prioritize speed.”
The scout immediately nodded.
“Leave it to me.”
Soon both men departed rapidly.
Already discussing supply routes and mining possibilities.
Kaelen watched them leave quietly.
Then slowly looked outside his window.
Rain still fell heavily across the growing settlement.
Villagers moved through muddy roads carrying wood and supplies.
Children played beneath primitive shelters.
Black smoke rose endlessly from furnaces.
It still looked primitive now.
But not forever.
Because Kaelen now possessed knowledge beyond this world’s current civilization.
Cement.
Engineering.
Infrastructure.
Industry.
And slowly—
Kaelrith would evolve from a simple village…
into something capable of rivaling entire kingdoms.
