The settlement of Kaelrith had changed beyond recognition.

What once began as a lonely wooden house in the wilderness had now transformed into a growing fortified village filled with hundreds of people.

Smoke rose endlessly from cooking fires.Full novel: GOT Kingdom Building System — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Children ran between wooden homes.

Workers carried logs and stone through muddy roads.

Blacksmith hammers echoed day and night.

The settlement buzzed with life.

And standing atop the tall wooden wall surrounding the village—

Kaelen watched silently.

Cold wind moved through his dark hair while his sharp eyes observed the people below.

Five hundred people.

Five hundred lives now depended on him.

The thought still felt unreal sometimes.

But Kaelen also understood something important.

No kingdom could be built by one man alone.

Even with his strength.

Even with the system.

Even with ancient knowledge.

He needed capable people.

Trusted people.

The future rulers of Kaelrith.

And slowly…

such people had begun to emerge.

“FOUNDERRR!”

A loud booming voice echoed through the training grounds.

Kaelen sighed before turning around.

A gigantic man carrying an enormous wooden log across one shoulder approached him with a grin.

The man stood nearly seven feet tall with massive arms thick as tree trunks.

Scars covered his rough skin while a heavy iron axe rested against his back.

This was Ragnar Stone.

Originally a wandering tribal warrior, Ragnar had challenged Kaelen months ago after refusing to follow “a young boy.”

The fight ended in less than thirty seconds.

Kaelen defeated him barehanded.

Since then—

Ragnar became one of his most loyal followers.

“The western fence is repaired,” Ragnar announced proudly.

“But we need thicker logs.

Some monster tried smashing through last night.”

Kaelen nodded calmly.

“I’ll check it later.”

Ragnar grinned.

“Good!

I want to fight it next time.”

Kaelen shook his head slightly.

Ragnar truly loved battle too much.

Still— his strength was undeniable.

Among all five hundred villagers, Ragnar was physically the strongest after Kaelen himself.

Perfect future general material.

Nearby, dozens of hunters practiced archery beneath strict supervision.

“Again!”

A sharp voice echoed across the field.

“Your stance is terrible!”

Kaelen smiled faintly.

That voice belonged to Edrik Vale.

Tall and lean, Edrik carried himself with military discipline unlike most primitive tribesmen.

He had once belonged to a hunting clan destroyed by monsters.

After joining Kaelrith, his natural skill with bows quickly became obvious.

Now he trained all village archers personally.

“Keep your breathing steady,” Edrik ordered coldly.

“An arrow fired in panic is already a missed shot.”

The trainees immediately corrected themselves nervously.

Edrik noticed Kaelen nearby and bowed respectfully.

“Founder.”

Kaelen nodded.

“The archers improve quickly.”

“They improve because I force them to,” Edrik replied seriously.

Kaelen chuckled softly.

Strict.

But effective.

Near the forest edge, another group returned carrying massive beast carcasses across wooden carts.

Leading them was Darian Wolfe.

Unlike Ragnar’s overwhelming presence, Darian moved silently like a predator.

Calm gray eyes scanned the surroundings constantly while several hunting knives hung from his belt.

He approached Kaelen quietly.

“We found tracks north of the river,” Darian reported.

“Something large.”

Kaelen’s expression sharpened slightly.

“Monster?”

Darian nodded once.

“Probably.”

“Keep hunters away from the northern woods for now.”

“As you command.”

Simple.

Reliable.

Darian rarely wasted words.

Which made him perfect for leading Kaelrith’s hunting forces.

CLANG!

CLANG!

CLANG!

The sounds of metal echoed loudly from the forge district.

Heat exploded outward from massive furnaces while sparks filled the air continuously.

Kaelen entered the blacksmithing area slowly.

Inside, a muscular old man slammed a hammer onto glowing iron furiously.

“MORE COAL!” the old man roared.

Several workers scrambled instantly.

This terrifying blacksmith was Borin Ashhand.

Despite his age, Borin possessed monstrous strength and unmatched forging skill among the villagers.

His beard looked half-burned permanently from furnace heat.

When he noticed Kaelen, he snorted loudly.

“The iron quality here is strange,” Borin muttered.

“Too strong.”

Kaelen smiled faintly.

Kaelrith’s resources truly were abnormal.

Even basic iron ore here seemed superior to ordinary materials.

Borin lifted a newly forged sword proudly.

“Still rough.

But better than last month.”

Kaelen inspected the blade carefully.

Much better balance.

Sharper edge.

Real progress.

Soon—

Kaelrith would possess real weapons.

Not merely primitive tools.

Outside the forge district, construction workers moved across expanding roads and buildings.

Orders rang constantly.

“Move those beams!”

“Reinforce the foundation!”

“Watch the support ropes!”

At the center stood a woman holding rolled maps and wooden measurements.

This was Mira Stoneveil.

Unlike most villagers, Mira possessed remarkable organizational talent.

After observing Kaelen’s construction methods, she quickly adapted and improved them further.

Entire sections of the settlement now followed her designs.

“We need wider roads,” Mira explained while showing Kaelen rough sketches.

“If the population keeps growing, these paths will become crowded.”

Kaelen studied the plans carefully.

She was right.

The village was expanding rapidly.

Mira pointed toward another section.

“And drainage systems.

Otherwise rain will flood everything.”

Kaelen smiled slightly.

“Do it.”

Mira nodded confidently before immediately shouting new orders at nearby workers.

Efficient.

Intelligent.

Kaelrith needed people like her desperately.

Beyond the settlement walls stretched enormous farming fields.

Hundreds of villagers worked beneath sunlight while livestock grazed nearby.

At the center stood a broad man calmly instructing workers.

This was Tomas Reed.

Without Tomas— the village likely would have starved already.

He possessed incredible patience and deep understanding of crops and animals.

“The soil here is fertile,” Tomas explained while examining crops.

“But we need irrigation before summer.”

Kaelen nodded.

“How long until first harvest?”

“Few more weeks.”

Not fast enough.

But acceptable.

Kaelen looked toward the massive livestock fences nearby.

The cows, sheep, and chickens had multiplied quickly under Tomas’s management.

Slowly— food stability improved.

Inside a small wooden medical hut, herbs filled the air with strange scents.

Several injured hunters rested nearby while a calm woman treated wounds carefully.

This was Selene Varrow.

Kaelen had personally taught her basic medicinal knowledge from his survival system.

And surprisingly— she learned extremely quickly.

“You push people too hard,” Selene said calmly without looking up.

Kaelen chuckled.

“They survive because they become stronger.”

Selene wrapped bandages around a hunter’s arm expertly.

Fair enough.

Kaelen respected her greatly.

Without healers— civilizations collapsed quickly.

As evening approached, Kaelen climbed the watchtower overlooking the settlement.

A figure already stood there studying distant forests through a primitive spyglass.

“Anything unusual?” Kaelen asked.

The young scout smirked slightly.

“Only monsters, forests, ruins, and death.”

Kaelen laughed softly.

That was Kael Draven.

Fast.

Fearless.

Curious to dangerous levels.

Kael spent most of his time exploring unknown regions around Kaelrith.

He possessed natural talent for scouting and survival.

“Found more ruins eastward,” Kael reported excitedly.

“And maybe another tribe.”

Kaelen’s eyes sharpened.

“Good.”

More people meant more growth.

Night eventually covered the settlement.

Torches illuminated streets while guards patrolled the walls carefully.

Inside Kaelen’s large wooden house, several important figures gathered around a massive table.

Maps covered its surface.

Resource markings.

Tribal locations.

Danger zones.

And standing beside the table— was Lucian Veris.

Unlike most villagers, Lucian spoke elegantly and carried himself like a scholar.

He had once belonged to a distant educated tribe preserving fragments of ancient knowledge.

“Expansion must slow slightly,” Lucian advised calmly.

“Our food production still struggles to support rapid population growth.”

Kaelen crossed his arms thoughtfully.

Lucian continued.

“We also need proper laws eventually.

Structure.

Organization.”

Ragnar groaned loudly.

“BORING.”

Lucian ignored him completely.

Kaelen smiled faintly.

Lucian was perhaps the most intelligent person currently within Kaelrith besides himself.

And his strategic mind would become invaluable later.

As the meeting continued—

Kaelen suddenly noticed someone quietly standing near the doorway.

A young silver-haired girl watched silently from shadows.

Her pale blue eyes remained strangely calm compared to most children.

This was Lyra Frost.

One of the original survivors Kaelen rescued months ago.

Unlike other children—

Lyra rarely spoke.

But Kaelen had noticed strange things around her.

Cold air sometimes gathered nearby.

Frost occasionally appeared around objects she touched.

And most importantly— the Ice Dragon Egg inside Kaelen’s inventory reacted whenever she approached.

Interesting.

Very interesting.

Lyra noticed Kaelen looking at her.

Then quietly disappeared into the darkness again.

Kaelen narrowed his eyes slightly.

There was definitely something unusual about that girl.

But for now— he had more immediate concerns.

Kaelen looked around the room at everyone gathered there.

Warriors.

Builders.

Farmers.

Scouts.

Leaders.

The first true pillars of Kaelrith.

And for the first time—

Kaelen no longer felt alone carrying the burden of the continent.

Because now— his kingdom had truly begun to take shape.
