The moment the words faded from the blue screen— the world vanished.

Kaelen felt his body become weightless.

Darkness swallowed everything around him.Full novel: GOT Kingdom Building System — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

The crowded streets of King’s Landing disappeared.

The noise.

The smell.

The cold.

Everything.

For a brief moment, it felt as though he was floating through an endless void.

Then—

Light exploded before his eyes.

A violent wind struck his face.

Kaelen stumbled forward and crashed onto rough stone.

“Ugh—!”

Pain shot through his thin body as he struggled to breathe.

The air felt different here.

Cleaner.

Colder.

Wilder.

He slowly lifted his head.

And froze.

An endless landscape stretched before him.

Massive mountains towered in the distance, their snow-covered peaks piercing dark clouds.

Vast forests spread across the horizon like an ocean of green and black.

Rivers glimmered beneath the pale sunlight while giant birds circled high in the sky.

The sheer scale of it made Kaelen speechless.

This wasn’t a small island.

This was a continent.

A real continent.

Untouched.

Unknown.

Ancient.

A powerful wind swept across the rocky cliff where he stood, carrying the scent of pine, snow, and the distant sea.

Kaelen slowly stood up, his weak legs trembling beneath him.

“So this is… Kaelrith…”

Far below the cliff, enormous forests stretched endlessly toward the horizon.

In the far distance, he could barely see giant ruined structures rising above the trees like broken giants.

Ruins.

Something had once lived here.

Something enormous.

A blue screen appeared before him once more.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Kaelen stared silently at the message.

One of the greatest civilizations?

Then what destroyed it?

War?

Dragons?

Something worse?

His gaze drifted toward the distant ruins hidden within the forests.

A strange feeling settled inside him.

Kaelrith felt old.

Ancient beyond imagination.

Like the continent itself was sleeping.

Kaelen exhaled slowly before looking down at himself.

Only then did reality hit him again.

His body was terrible.

His ribs were visible beneath his skin.

His arms were thin like sticks.

Even standing exhausted him.

“Hah…”

He laughed bitterly.

“A kingdom builder?”

He looked like he would die from strong wind.

Kaelen sat heavily against a large stone and closed his eyes for a moment.

His stomach twisted painfully from hunger.

His throat felt dry.

His entire body ached.

Even walking would be difficult in this condition.

He opened his eyes and looked at the blue screen.

“System,” he said tiredly.

“Is there… anything you can do?”

Silence filled the air for a few seconds.

Then another notification appeared.

The moment the message ended— pain exploded inside Kaelen’s head.

“ARGH—!”

He grabbed his skull and collapsed to his knees.

Countless streams of knowledge flooded into his mind.

How to identify animal tracks.

How to build traps.

How to sharpen blades.

How to preserve meat.

How to construct shelter.

Thousands of details entered his brain at terrifying speed.

It felt as though years of survival experience had been forcefully shoved into his memories.

After several minutes, the pain slowly faded.

Kaelen panted heavily.

Sweat covered his face despite the cold wind.

But something had changed.

The world looked different now.

When he looked toward the forest…

he instinctively noticed broken branches.

Animal tracks.

Safe paths.

Potential dangers.

It felt natural.

As though he had spent his entire life surviving in wilderness.

Then several items appeared beside him in flashes of blue light.

A leather backpack.

Folded clothes.

Boots.

An iron sword inside a worn scabbard.

Kaelen stared at them in shock.

“Inventory creation…” he muttered.

Even after reincarnating, system magic still felt absurd.

Quickly, he changed out of his filthy rags.

The fresh clothes instantly felt better against his skin.

The boots alone made him feel more human.

Then he opened the survival kit.

Inside were:

• flint stones

• rope

• knife

• cooking pot

• water skin

• dried herbs

• fishing hooks

Basic supplies.

But for Kaelen…

they were priceless.

He grabbed the sword next.

The iron blade wasn’t fancy, but it felt solid in his hands.

A strange familiarity surfaced within him.

The knowledge integration was already affecting his movements.

Kaelen looked toward the forest again.

Hunger gnawed at his stomach violently.

“I need food first.”

Without food, nothing else mattered.

Taking a deep breath, he slowly walked into the forest.

The trees of Kaelrith were enormous.

Some trunks were wider than houses.

Sunlight barely reached the ground beneath thick branches.

Strange bird cries echoed through the woods while distant growls occasionally rumbled from deeper within the forest.

Kaelen remained alert.

Every instinct warned him this continent was dangerous.

Very dangerous.

Then he spotted tracks near muddy ground.

Rabbit.

His mind identified it instantly.

Fresh tracks.

Less than an hour old.

Kaelen crouched low and carefully followed them.

The knowledge inside his head guided him naturally.

Broken grass.

Tiny footprints.

Chewed bark.

Several minutes later— he saw it.

A rabbit nibbling near a bush.

Kaelen slowly drew his knife.

His breathing steadied.

Then—

THROW!

The blade flew through the air.

The rabbit barely reacted before the knife struck its neck.

Kaelen blinked.

“…That actually worked?”

For a moment he simply stared.

Then relief flooded through him.

Food.

Real food.

Quickly, he cleaned the rabbit beside a nearby stream using the survival knowledge he had gained.

Soon a small fire crackled beneath the darkening sky.

The smell of cooked meat filled the cold evening air.

Kaelen tore into the rabbit hungrily.

Warm meat filled his stomach.

Energy slowly returned to his exhausted body.

For the first time since waking in this world…

he felt alive.

The fire crackled softly while darkness spread across the forest.

Kaelen leaned back against a stone and stared upward at the unfamiliar stars.

His thoughts slowly settled.

“So…”

“I’m really in the Game of Thrones world.”

A small smile appeared on his face.

The Mad King was still alive.

That meant Robert’s Rebellion had not happened yet.

Which meant…

Kaelen still had time.

Years of time.

Before chaos consumed Westeros.

Before dragons returned.

Before the White Walkers awakened.

Before the entire world descended into war.

Slowly, excitement began replacing fear.

This world was dangerous.

But unlike his first life…

he wasn’t trapped anymore.

No corrupt competitors.

No banks.

No endless struggle just to survive.

Here…

he had an entire continent.

A system.

And unlimited possibilities.

Kaelen looked toward the endless darkness of Kaelrith beyond the firelight.

Unknown lands.

Ancient ruins.

Lost civilizations.

Monsters.

Resources.

Kingdoms waiting to rise.

A grin slowly spread across his face.

Then he laughed.

A genuine laugh.

“Hahahahaha…”

The sound echoed faintly through the wilderness.

“Years…”

“I have years to prepare.”

The fire reflected in his eyes as cold wind swept through the ancient forest.

And somewhere deep within the sleeping continent of Kaelrith— something seemed to awaken.
