Kaelen stood atop the tall wooden fence surrounding the growing settlement while cold wind swept across the open plains.

Below him— people moved everywhere.

Workers dragged logs across muddy ground.

Hunters sharpened crude spears near cooking fires.

The once lonely homestead had transformed completely.

Life now existed within Kaelrith.

Real civilization.

Kaelen looked toward the glowing blue system screen before him.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Population: 12

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

He smiled slightly.

“So only people under my leadership count…”

That made sense.

The primitive tribes scattered across Kaelrith were independent.

The system only recognized citizens loyal to him.

Which meant— the stronger his influence became…

the larger his civilization would grow.

Kaelen’s eyes sharpened with ambition.

Then he looked toward the exhausted survivors resting inside the settlement.

Twelve people was nowhere near enough.

Not for a continent this massive.

Not for the empire he planned to build.

He needed more people.

Far more.

The following weeks became incredibly busy.

Kaelen immediately organized the survivors into work groups.

The older women handled cooking and basic care for the children.

The stronger men gathered wood, stone, and water from nearby regions.

Meanwhile, Kaelen personally taught everyone basic survival methods.

Fishing.

Trap making.

Food preservation.

Simple construction.

Most of the survivors had lived in primitive tribes all their lives.

They lacked advanced knowledge.

But they learned quickly.

Especially under Kaelen’s leadership.

Because unlike normal tribal chiefs—

Kaelen possessed modern knowledge combined with system-enhanced talent.

And perhaps most importantly— he possessed confidence.

The people trusted him naturally.

Even feared him slightly.

After all— they had witnessed him slaughter monstrous beasts alone.

To them, Kaelen already seemed almost superhuman.

And Kaelen used that carefully.

Not through cruelty.

But through leadership.

Direction.

Purpose.

Every day, the settlement improved.

Small wooden shelters appeared near the original house.

Storage buildings expanded.

Farming fields grew larger.

The fences became taller and stronger.

And during all this—

Kaelen continued leaving regularly to search for survivors.

Primitive tribes.

Wanderers.

Starving refugees.

Small isolated groups hiding throughout the wilderness.

At first, many feared him.

But Kaelen quickly realized something.

His natural charisma had become extremely powerful.

Peak Talent didn’t only affect combat.

It enhanced everything.

Speech.

Learning.

Leadership.

Even presence.

People naturally listened when he spoke.

Especially when they saw:

• his strength

• his organized settlement

• stable food supplies

• defensive walls

Compared to surviving alone in Kaelrith’s brutal wilderness— joining Kaelen’s settlement felt like salvation.

the population exploded.

Weeks passed rapidly.

Then months.

More and more people arrived.

Entire wandering families joined the settlement.

Hunters.

Workers.

Survivors.

Former tribal members.

By the beginning of winter—

Kaelen’s small settlement had grown to nearly five hundred people.

Five hundred.

Even Kaelen felt shocked seeing the system number.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Population: 500

Settlement Status:

Growing Village

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

The once tiny fenced homestead had expanded enormously.

The original acre of land was now surrounded by massive defensive wooden walls stretching across huge sections of open plains.

Watchtowers stood near entrances.

Guard patrols moved constantly.

Smoke rose from dozens of houses.

The settlement buzzed with life from morning until night.

But growth created problems too.

Especially food.

Five hundred people consumed enormous amounts of resources.

The small farming land Kaelen originally built was nowhere near enough anymore.

For now— hunting remained essential.

Kaelen immediately organized ten hunting groups.

Each contained ten skilled hunters armed with bows and crude spears.

Kaelen personally trained them himself.

Tracking.

Team hunting.

Ambush tactics.

Fishing methods.

How to survive monster attacks.

The results were surprisingly effective.

Soon, large amounts of meat entered the settlement daily.

Still—

Kaelen understood hunting alone could never sustain a future kingdom.

They needed agriculture.

Animal domestication.

Stable food production.

And so—

Kaelen left the settlement with five trusted hunters.

Their mission:

find herd animals.

The journey lasted nearly two weeks.

Eventually, they discovered massive grazing herds within wide valleys south of the settlement.

Buffalo.

Wild cows.

Goat-like creatures.

Even primitive chickens near tribal zones.

Capturing them was difficult.

Several men were injured during the process.

But eventually— they succeeded.

When the group finally returned leading dozens of animals— the settlement exploded with excitement.

Children ran through the streets cheering loudly.

The villagers stared at the animals like priceless treasure.

Because to primitive survivors…

livestock meant survival.

Hope.

Stability.

Kaelen immediately ordered large fenced animal enclosures constructed.

Weeks later, the settlement contained:

• over 300 sheep

• 200 cows

• 150 chickens

Milk production began quickly.

Eggs became available daily.

For the first time— the settlement slowly moved beyond simple survival.

It was becoming organized.

Civilized.

Still— food remained difficult.

Farming required time.

Large farming fields now stretched beyond the village walls where over two hundred workers planted crops daily.

But crops needed months to mature.

hunters remained critically important.

Kaelen himself still hunted regularly.

Especially large predators.

The meat from Kaelrith’s beasts contained tremendous nutrition.

Many villagers visibly became healthier after joining the settlement.

Children grew stronger.

Adults regained energy.

Even Kaelen noticed something strange— people born in Kaelrith seemed naturally tougher than ordinary humans.

Perhaps the harsh continent itself forced adaptation.

________________________________________

One evening, Kaelen stood beside a blazing furnace near the center of the settlement.

Heat radiated outward while workers carefully fed coal into the fire.

Black smoke rose into the dark sky.

Kaelen smiled faintly.

Finally.

Industry.

The discovery of iron ore years ago now became useful.

Using primitive mining teams, Kaelen had begun transporting ore from nearby mountains.

And now— they were smelting iron for the first time.

At first, the villagers struggled heavily with blacksmithing.

But fortunately—

Kaelen possessed survival knowledge from the system.

Combined with modern understanding of basic metallurgy.

Slowly, progress improved.

Soon crude iron tools appeared.

Axes.

Knives.

Farming equipment.

Then eventually— weapons.

Kaelen lifted one newly forged iron sword carefully.

Rough.

Unrefined.

But functional.

Far better than wooden spears.

“Good,” he said calmly.

Nearby blacksmiths smiled proudly.

The villagers admired Kaelen endlessly now.

To them, he seemed capable of everything.

Building.

Farming.

Hunting.

Fighting.

Leadership.

Knowledge.

Many had begun calling him:

“The Founder.”

Though Kaelen himself ignored titles for now.

There was still too much work ahead.

That same month, Kaelen officially began military training.

Twenty young men trained daily in swordsmanship beneath his guidance.

Another thirty practiced archery near the outer fences.

Their skills were poor currently.

But Kaelen remained patient.

Every civilization started somewhere.

And compared to the scattered primitive tribes of Kaelrith— his settlement already possessed enormous advantages.

Organization.

Knowledge.

Leadership.

Vision.

Kaelen stood atop the wooden wall that night while torches illuminated the growing settlement below.

Children laughed near cooking fires.

Guards patrolled the walls carrying bows.

Workers repaired buildings beneath moonlight.

The sight filled Kaelen with strange satisfaction.

Four years ago— he had been alone.

A starving child surviving beside a tiny wooden hut.

Now?

Five hundred people depended on him.

Trusted him.

Followed him.

And this…

was only the beginning.

Kaelen looked toward the endless wilderness beyond the walls.
