The young Titan, Cronus, the God of Time, entered this void for the first time under the guidance of Gaia, the Earth Mother Goddess.
This was the edge of the world, desolate and chaotic, with no distinction between day and night and no trace of life.
Yet unlike the Land of Eternal Night, it was not perpetually shrouded in darkness.
Its source of light came from the countless brilliant stars deep within the universe.
The stars continued along their predetermined trajectories.
Beneath that endless starry sky sat a handsome and gentle man, quietly gazing into the distance.
His deep, radiant purple eyes seemed capable of seeing through everything.
He wore a simple white robe, exactly as he had when Cronus first saw him in the temple a thousand years ago, as though the passage of a millennium had left no mark upon him.
Although Theron’s divine power had increased considerably, he was still extremely weak in Cronus’s eyes.
Cronus had already reached the level of Greater Divine Power and was far stronger than Theron.
If Gaia had not specifically instructed him to come here and seek Theron’s guidance on Fate, Cronus would never have thought of visiting him.
Regarding the Prophecy Theron had made in the temple a thousand years ago, the Twelve Titans, the God-King Uranus, and even Gaia had initially shared the same opinion: Theron’s Prophecy was inaccurate because he was simply too weak.
However, Uranus and Gaia had already witnessed one of his Prophecies come true with the birth of the Twelve Titans, so they still retained some doubts.
The Twelve Titans, on the other hand, did not believe it at all.
They even harbored resentment toward the fellow whose Prophecy had caused them to suffer under the God-King’s torment.
They wanted nothing more than to take revenge.
After all, if they could not defeat the God-King, surely they could defeat such a weak God of Prophecy?
However, fearing that Uranus would suspect them of harboring ulterior motives, the Twelve Titans ultimately dared not act rashly and could only swallow their grievances.
Naturally, they had no favorable impression of Theron.
Hyperion, the God of Light and the Sun, had even privately described Theron as nothing more than a weak and despicable charlatan.
Cronus had once thought the same.
But Gaia’s attitude had made him keenly aware that something was wrong.
As one of the Primordial Gods, the great Earth Mother Goddess had personally acknowledged that Theron’s Prophecy was a “guidance from Fate.”
What did that mean?
Cronus was clearly a wise god.
Therefore, when he saw Theron, he immediately put aside all contempt, bowed respectfully, and took the initiative to greet him.
“Great Prince Theron, please forgive my intrusion.
My revered Mother Goddess sent me to seek your help and ask for your guidance regarding Fate.”
His attitude was extremely humble.
Theron was not surprised by this.
His expression remained unchanged, still carrying that gentle smile.
“Your Highness Cronus, God of Time, you are too polite.”
Theron smiled. The source of this chapter is g.com.
“Your humility and courage are among the noblest qualities.
It is my honor to be able to help you.”
“Your Highness Cronus, what would you like to know?”
Upon hearing this, Cronus immediately said, “King Uranus is too cruel, and we have reached our limit.
Just as you foretold a thousand years ago, I, the son of King Uranus, wish to overthrow his rule.”
“My Mother Goddess has prepared the weapons mentioned in your Prophecy, but how should I begin?”
Cronus sighed, his expression troubled.
“Compared with the mighty power of the God-King, we are all far too weak.
Even if we possess the sharpest weapons in the world, it would still be difficult to fight him.”
“I want to know how we can defeat him.
He is simply unbeatable.”
Theron smiled when he heard this.
However, instead of directly answering Cronus’s question, he began explaining the nature of the God-King.
“Your Highness Cronus, you must understand that the reason Uranus is the God-King is because he has obtained the recognition of the world.”
“He symbolizes masculinity, embodies the origin of Patriarchy, and rules the heavens.
Only because of these things is he the supreme God-King.”
Cronus frowned as he listened.
A vague idea began forming in his mind, but he could not quite grasp it.
“In the Chaos World, apart from a few gods, almost every other deity is his descendant.
Each new god represents another law, and every additional law plays an important role in the world’s development and perfection.”
“That is why the world recognized him.”
“And that is why no one except the Chaos World itself can defeat the supreme God-King, Uranus.”
The more Theron explained, the deeper Cronus’s frown became.
Theron’s words seemed to be emphasizing that Uranus was completely impossible to defeat.
But if that was the case, why had Theron given that Prophecy a thousand years ago?
Doubt and confusion swirled within Cronus’s mind, but he suppressed the urge to question him and respectfully asked, “Then you mean…”
“You cannot defeat the supreme God-King recognized by the world.
No one in this world can.”
“The only one you can defeat is the powerful ruler of the sky.”
Cronus’s eyes immediately lit up. The source of this chapter is g.com.
He seemed to understand something.
Sure enough, Theron continued.
“Patriarchy and masculinity are the keys to his recognition by the world.
They are the root of everything.”
“If his Patriarchy and masculinity are removed, he will no longer be the supreme God-King recognized by the world.
He will merely be a powerful Sky God.”
“And you Twelve Titans are all powerful gods.
Against a Sky God who possesses only powerful divine strength, the balance of victory may well tip in your favor.”
“So that’s how it is…”
“So that’s how it is!”
Cronus’s eyes lit up with excitement as he finally understood the true purpose of the weapon.
Even the finest weapon crafted by the world’s greatest artisans might not be capable of harming the supreme God-King Uranus in a direct confrontation.
Therefore, the weapon had never been intended for a frontal battle.
It was meant to sever the root of Uranus’s Patriarchy and masculinity.
Cronus immediately understood the plan.
However, he suppressed his excitement and bowed to Theron once again, his attitude even more respectful than before.
“Great God of Prophecy, your wisdom is truly extraordinary.
Your foresight is admirable.
You have helped me immensely.
How can I repay you?”
Cronus was not foolish.
He had already realized that the seemingly weak god before him was anything but simple.
With Gaia’s hints, he had even begun to suspect that Theron might not actually be the God of Prophecy.
He might be the God of Fate.
In such circumstances, even after receiving guidance from Theron, Cronus did not believe he could simply accept it without giving anything in return.
In this world, what came for free was often the most expensive thing of all.
Theron smiled helplessly.
He had initially intended to refuse, but seeing how insistent Cronus was, he thought for a moment before speaking.
“Then be like your father.”
“When you ascend to the throne of the God-King, grant me one request.”
