“After you become the God King, fulfill one of my conditions.”

A simple sentence stirred an uncontrollable storm within Cronus.

But it was not the condition itself that shocked him.Full novel: Greek Mythology: The True God of Fate — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Rather, it was the statement that came before it: that he would become the new God King.

Cronus was an extremely cautious god.

Whether before Gaia or after meeting Theron, he had always spoken only of overthrowing the tyrannical rule and ending these painful days.

He had never revealed the slightest ambition to seize the throne of the God King.

It was not that he had never considered it.

Rather, he was not particularly powerful among the Twelve Titans.

At present, everyone was united by their desire to overthrow the God King.

But once the seemingly invincible Uranus was defeated, conflict would inevitably erupt among the Twelve Titans, because none of them would be unwilling to become the next God King.

Under such circumstances, Cronus had no confidence that he could defeat his brothers.

He might have been able to contend with some of the other Titans, but he felt completely outmatched by the strongest among them, Oceanus, Lord of the Ocean Current.

Yet Theron had directly declared that he would become the new God King.

Could this be another Prophecy?

A Prophecy about his own fate?

Unable to contain his excitement, Cronus tried to suppress his emotions, but anticipation and nervousness ultimately compelled him to ask in a low voice:

“Your Highness Theron, do you believe that I will become the new God King?”

“Yes.”

Theron nodded with a smile.

“As for the problems you are worried about, they are not problems in the face of predetermined fate.”

“Just remember that your humility and courage will bring you good fortune.

As long as you possess these noble qualities, fate will be on your side.”

These words seemed to imply that Theron, who was suspected of being the God of Fate, might help him at a crucial moment.

Cronus understood the implication and was overjoyed.

He quickly bowed again to express his gratitude.

Although he could not understand how Theron’s meager divine power could possibly help him, he inexplicably felt a sense of reassurance.

“Remember, do not act recklessly.

Make sure everything is fully prepared before you take action.”

Theron gave him one final earnest warning.

“I will, Your Highness Theron,” Cronus replied solemnly.

Having received the answer he sought, he quickly took his leave. Find the original chapter at g.com.

As Theron watched Cronus’s departing figure, he could clearly feel his divine power rapidly increasing, almost reaching the level of intermediate divine power.

This meant that he had once again pushed the course of fate forward.

Moreover, after thousands of years of exploration, Theron had discovered that the more powerful the being whose destiny he influenced, the greater the power he gained in return.

His Prophecy had enabled Uranus to ascend to the throne of the gods, allowing Theron to advance directly from a minor god to a weak god.

Now, he had foretold the end of this era and the ascension of the new God King, Cronus.

This had brought him to the brink of advancing from a weak god to an intermediate god, leaving him only one step away.

At this level, he finally established a subtle connection with the world and was able to utilize a portion of the power of fate.

He had been far too weak before, so weak that he could not even properly use his own divine power.

His body simply could not support it.

Now he could use it to some extent, but doing so was still extremely difficult.

According to Theron’s understanding, to truly wield the power of fate freely, one needed to possess at least great divine power.

There was no other way around it.

The divine office of Fate was simply too powerful, while Theron himself was far too weak, resulting in this strange situation.

However, he had a premonition that once Uranus was completely overthrown and the reign of the first-generation God King came to an end, he would surely reach the level of an intermediate god.

And when Cronus ascended to the throne as the second-generation God King, Theron might even be able to touch the threshold of powerful divine power.

Such a rate of advancement was simply terrifying.

One had to remember that life in this world had yet to fully develop.

Countless gods and living beings had not yet been born, and their destinies had yet to emerge.

It was only the era of the second-generation God King, yet Theron might soon catch up to the Twelve Titans.

It was difficult to imagine how powerful Theron would become once the world truly flourished.

However, that day still seemed very far away.

“I can still do so little right now.”

Theron could not help but sigh.

He continued waiting patiently for the destined events to unfold.

With his deliberate push, he knew that day would not be far off.

…

Decades passed in the blink of an eye, yet nothing happened during those years.

Uranus, now completely at ease because of The Three Fates’ words, continued humiliating the Twelve Titans at will.

As the Titans grew stronger, his methods of torment became increasingly brutal.

But as always, he continued to ignore the weak Cronus.

Even though he knew that Cronus was hiding behind Gaia out of fear of him, Uranus found it laughable.

His arrogance and conceit were so great that he failed to notice the unusual relationship between Gaia and Cronus.

He also failed to discover that Cronus had secretly obtained the destined scythe from Gaia.

This weapon had been forged by the naturally gifted Cyclopes within Gaia’s body.

Its design was bizarre, and it contained the most primal power of Mother Earth, so it would not harm Gaia.

Moreover, because the Cyclopes had been forged from Gaia’s accumulated rage, holding the weapon was like gaining access to an endless source of power.

It contained the resentment and hatred accumulated over thousands of years—the most powerful and devastating counterattack of Mother Earth, who was not skilled in combat.

On this day, heaven and earth merged once more, plunging the world into chaos.

But this time, the chaos was even more disorderly and frenzied than before.

Because this time, it was Mother Earth Gaia who had taken the initiative.

Uranus was overjoyed.

For thousands of years, Gaia had done nothing but resist him.

This was the first time in a millennium that she had willingly responded to him.

The situation inevitably reminded Uranus of the sweetness and affection they had shared a thousand years ago.

He quickly became lost in his excitement, completely failing to notice that something was wrong.

He simply believed that Gaia had finally come to her senses and was willing to humble herself and reconcile with him.

After all, he was the God King.

And in his eyes, the God King could never be wrong.

Just as Uranus briefly lost himself in his excitement, the twelve Titan children he had always looked down upon quietly approached the place where heaven and earth were intertwined.

“It’s time.”

Rhea’s gaze toward Cronus was gentle yet encouraging.

Because of their divine offices, Rhea, Goddess of the Passage of Time, and Cronus, God of Time and Space, were destined to become husband and wife.

She had also always been the one most supportive of Cronus.

The other Titans remained silent, their eyes fixed intently on Cronus, who was gripping the scythe tightly.

They all knew what this day meant.

They also understood the tragic consequences they would face if they failed.

This made them uncontrollably tense.

Even Cronus was no exception.

He took a deep breath, forcibly suppressing the surging emotions within him.

His eyes gradually hardened.

“Yes.

It’s time.”
