Upon hearing this, Prometheus’s first reaction was that Theron indeed knew everything.

His second was the realization that this new form of life was called humanity.

It was only at the very end that he realized Theron genuinely intended to give him a gift.

Immense excitement immediately filled his heart, but he still managed to speak with great restraint.

“Your Highness Theron, I only wished to please you and never intended to ask for anything in return.

It is already an honor for Prometheus to have brought you joy.”

“Moreover, I have always felt that this world was too vast and empty.

I had already thought about creating such beings, but it was because of your guidance that I found the courage to approach the God-King and put my ideas into action.”

“So, in a way, I should be the one thanking you.”

Prometheus was indeed an exceptionally intelligent god.

His words were concise and perfectly measured.

Who could have imagined that he was merely a child who had been born a hundred years ago?

Theron’s impression of him improved even further.

He appreciated someone who was so self-aware and perceptive, and he smiled.

“Your wisdom is worthy of a gift from Fate.”

“I shall grant you a greater share of prophetic authority.

From now on, your ability to perceive the future will become even more powerful.”

Prophecy was subordinate to Fate.

Theron only needed to grant Prometheus a small portion of Fate’s essence to greatly enhance his prophetic abilities.

It was much like the birth of the Three Fates; only a small gift was required.

Prometheus’s eyes immediately lit up.

He could clearly feel a mysterious power flowing into his body, causing the prophetic visions that had previously been vague and blurry to become far clearer.

He was instantly overwhelmed with excitement and sincerely thanked Theron for his generosity.

After accepting his gratitude, Theron’s tone suddenly became serious.

“But I must remind you that being a prophet is not always a good thing.

Never become arrogant simply because you possess Prophecy.

Think carefully before you act.”

Although Prometheus did not understand why Theron had given him such a warning, he nodded solemnly and committed the advice to memory.

“Go back now.

Your parents are looking for you.

We’ll meet again soon.”

Prometheus wanted to stay with Theron a little longer, but after hearing his words, he politely took his leave.

He hurried home and discovered that his father and mother gods were indeed looking for him.

It turned out that Queen Rhea had given birth to a daughter not long ago.

The birth of their first child in several hundred years filled Rhea with immense joy.

Following Oceanus’s example, she held a grand feast to celebrate and invited all the gods.

After all, this was an invitation from the Queen of the Gods.

Out of respect for the God-King, the Twelve Titans were expected to attend, while Third Generation Gods like Prometheus were even more obligated to participate.

After finding Prometheus, his parents quickly traveled with him to the sacred mountain.

Theron had said they would meet again soon because Rhea had invited him as well.

Theron had not originally planned to attend.

He knew perfectly well who the newborn child was.

Hestia, Goddess of the Hearth and Home, symbolized the eternal sacred flame and the warmth of family.

Compared with Metis, Goddess of Wisdom, Hestia’s fate was far less eventful.

As Zeus’s eldest sister, she voluntarily gave up her position among the chief gods and became the only goddess to remain detached from the struggles for power.

She rejected the advances of other gods and vowed to remain chaste forever.

Theron was not particularly interested in gods whose fates were relatively uneventful.

However, since he had given Prometheus a gift and expended some of his divine power, Theron ultimately decided to attend.

He simply had no intention of going there for Hestia herself.

Instead, he planned to find an opportunity to remind Cronus.

The existence of Prophecy could drive the course of Fate, thereby increasing his divine power and allowing him to quickly recover from his losses.

Meanwhile, atop the sacred mountain, the God-King Cronus was experiencing firsthand how joy could turn into sorrow.

He had gained greater recognition from the world and increased his divine power by creating the Golden Humans.

Yet upon returning to the sacred mountain, he discovered that Rhea had already given birth to their child.

She was an extraordinarily lovely girl, surrounded by a holy radiance, with an appearance that was exceptionally beautiful and delicate.

Rhea adored the girl, while the gods who had come to offer their congratulations also praised and blessed her.

As Cronus listened to them praise Hestia, saying how intelligent and brave she would become in the future, he felt a tightness in his chest.

An indescribable weight settled over his heart.

He could only console himself with the fact that she was a goddess.

Goddesses had no right to inherit the throne, so she could not pose a direct threat to his position as God-King.

Thinking this way, he felt somewhat relieved and managed to force a smile as he faced the gathered gods. Read this novel at g.com for the best experience.

But to his utter surprise, Rhea had actually invited Theron.

And Theron had actually come in person!

The moment that familiar white-robed figure appeared in the temple, Cronus felt as though something had exploded inside his mind.

An indescribable fear spread through his heart.

Theron, the God of Fate, had actually come to congratulate Hestia on her birth.

Was there something special about this girl?

Cronus could not help but let his thoughts run wild.

He completely forgot that Theron had also recently attended the birth celebration of Metis, Goddess of Wisdom.

His mind was filled with only one thought:

Hestia must become exceptionally important in the future.

Otherwise, why would the God of Fate personally come to congratulate her?

Even if Hestia were an outstanding goddess who had no right to inherit the throne, she could still become a powerful ally to the rebellious son who would one day overthrow him.

Just as Gaia had been before.

Cronus knew perfectly well that without Gaia’s assistance, the Twelve Titans alone would never have been able to overthrow Uranus’s tyrannical rule.

They were still far too weak.

Because of the deep-seated fear in his heart, Cronus could not stop himself from overthinking everything.

He stared at the white-robed figure slowly approaching and became increasingly convinced that his guess was correct.

That had to be the reason.

Otherwise, Theron would never have come in person.

For hundreds of years, he had hardly ever left that void!

“No.

I have to do something.

I can’t simply stand by and watch these potential traitors grow stronger and eventually challenge my divine authority.”

As Cronus spoke these words in his heart, he suddenly calmed down.

The vague fear that had been tormenting him transformed into a powerful determination that firmly supported him.

Meanwhile, Theron, who had just entered the temple, suddenly sensed the divine power within his body surging.

His expression became extremely strange.

In an instant, the power he had expended on granting Prometheus his gift had been completely replenished, and his strength had even increased beyond its previous level.

He had accomplished his purpose in leaving the void.

But there was one problem…

He hadn’t done anything yet.
