Having made up his mind, Prometheus soon arrived at the sacred mountain and requested an audience with the God-King.
Cronus had long since heard of this second-generation Titan, who was renowned for his Prophecy and wisdom.
The two had also met not long ago in the Ocean Current.
Although Cronus was somewhat puzzled by Prometheus’s request for an audience, he quickly granted it.
“Honorable and mighty God-King, Prometheus has presumptuously come to disturb you.
Please forgive me.”
Prometheus bowed respectfully, his posture extremely humble.
“God of Foresight, Your Highness Prometheus, there is no need for such formalities.
What brings you here?”
“Yes, Your Majesty.
I learned from my Father God that you wish to bring more life into this world.
I happen to have some immature ideas, so I thought I would offer them to you.”
Upon hearing this, Cronus’s heart stirred.
He wondered whether the God of Foresight had received some kind of preordained inspiration, and his attitude immediately became more serious.
“Your Highness Prometheus, what are your thoughts?”
“Your Majesty, don’t you think this world should have more intelligent beings like us?” Prometheus asked sincerely.
“The earth is too vast, and the creations of the gods have ultimately lacked a certain spirituality.”
“Perhaps we should create beings like us who are not gods and possess no divine authority, but still have wisdom.”
Cronus immediately fell into thought.
He had previously felt that the earth was too vast and had even tried to create some creatures himself.
However, because he lacked imagination, the creatures he created had always been unsatisfactory.
Prometheus’s words gave him considerable inspiration.
He didn’t know exactly what kind of creatures to create, but he could create beings in the image of the gods.
Surely such life would better adorn the empty earth.
Having realized this, Cronus immediately praised Prometheus’s idea and summoned the other gods to work together on creating life forms that resembled the gods but were not divine.
However, since these life forms would live upon the earth, Cronus first went to seek Gaia’s opinion.
Gaia was also quite interested in the idea and even lent him her Bottle of Life.
It was a treasured vessel imbued with the essence of life, born when Gaia awakened from Chaos.
It had been formed by fusing the Spring of Life with a clay vessel crafted from the world’s first soil, making it the only artifact among the Five Primordial Gods whose core concept was “gestation.” Visit novelping.com for the full chapter.
Within it was the Spring of Life, containing the seeds of all things.
When its water was poured upon the earth, life could spring forth.
The bottle represented the embodiment of Gaia’s divine authority and was directly connected to the laws of “earthly order” and the “cycle of life.” It had once been placed atop the steps of Gaia’s temple, symbolizing her supreme authority over life.
With Gaia’s support, Cronus no longer hesitated.
He took the Bottle of Life and, together with the other Titan Gods, went to an open expanse of land.
They mixed their own blood with the soil and the life-giving spring water from the Bottle of Life.
After several years of effort, they finally created numerous life forms that closely resembled themselves.
Their appearances were no different from those of the gods.
They were all human, both male and female, with the men possessing strong physiques and the women possessing beautiful features.
Yet these beings were not gods.
They merely possessed the privilege of coexisting with the gods.
Seeing these newborn lives, many of the gods were amazed and bestowed their blessings upon them.
Thus, these beings would never suffer or age.
They could enjoy eternal feasts and happiness, eventually dying peacefully as though falling into a deep sleep.
Their bodies would remain eternally youthful, and they would have no need to labor.
The earth itself would provide them with abundant fruits, while spring would reign throughout the year, all because of Gaia’s love.
Furthermore, because they had been created and blessed by the gods, these beings were absolutely devout toward them.
They knelt before the gods to demonstrate their submission and offered them their most loyal reverence.
The gods were delighted by this.
They enjoyed being worshipped by beings who resembled themselves.
It gave them a sense of superiority and made them feel even more certain that creating these beings had been the right decision.
Blessed by the gods in countless ways, these creatures had almost no worries.
They lived together in harmony, without conflict or sin.
They were the first generation of Golden Humans recorded by later generations.
Because their existence was so beautiful, they were even described as “ornaments of the earth”—a completely idealized creation of the gods.
With their arrival, the earth was no longer barren and empty.
These creatures built dwellings upon the land and devoted themselves to praising the gods every day.
This pleased the gods even more. Enjoying the story? Read on at g.com.
Cronus, who had led the creation of these lives, even received feedback from the world.
The will of the world, which already held him in high regard, recognized him even more strongly, and his divine power increased once again, reaching the level of a Primordial God.
Given a little more time, he would gain the world’s complete recognition, become a true God-King, and wield the creative power of a God-King.
This delighted Cronus, and he sincerely praised Prometheus for providing the idea.
Prometheus, however, frowned as he looked at the life forms created upon the earth.
These beings did not quite match his imagination.
They were too perfect, and therefore felt somewhat unreal.
However, he was still too weak to create life on his own and could only rely on the God-King Cronus.
Therefore, even though the life created did not meet his expectations, he could not say much.
While praising the greatness and wisdom of the God-King Cronus, he secretly thought that perhaps, once he became stronger, he could try creating something himself.
However, that day still seemed far away.
He only thought about it briefly before burying the idea deep within his heart.
After politely bidding farewell to the God-King, he traveled to the void beyond the world, intending to visit Theron.
He knew that Theron was aware of his actions, so he planned to leave immediately if Theron did not wish to see him and then think of another way to please him later.
If Theron was willing to meet him, however, it meant that the other party was very satisfied with what he had done, making this a good opportunity to establish a closer relationship.
To his delight, as soon as he arrived in the void, he saw a figure in white robes waiting for him.
The man was handsome, with a faint smile on his face.
His deep purple eyes gazed at Prometheus gently.
Theron had anticipated Prometheus’s visit and had therefore been waiting for him.
“Your Highness Theron!”
Prometheus suppressed his excitement, bowed respectfully, and spoke in an extremely sincere voice.
“Prometheus apologizes for disturbing you.”
“You did very well.”
Theron smiled.
“I’m very pleased with the birth of humankind.”
“Therefore, I’m going to give you a gift.
Is there anything you would like to receive?”
