[Translator’s Notes] Hi, and welcome to another Harry Potter fanfiction!

This one was a little difficult to edit, so you may notice a few small inconsistencies here and there, such as a new trait suddenly appearing without much explanation.

I’ve done my best to clean up the story and make everything as consistent as possible.Full novel: Harry Potter: I Maxed Out Humanity, Then I Found Magic — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

If you notice anything that seems wrong or out of place, feel free to leave a comment and let me know.

I hope you all enjoy the story!

And don’t forget to check out my other works.

For now, I have Harry Potter and Naruto fanfiction, and I’m planning to take another fandom in the future.

Happy reading!

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ London, July 31, 1991.

A sweltering heat hung over Charing Cross Road.

The air was thick with the scorched smell of sun baked asphalt and the acrid bite of exhaust fumes.

A black Rolls Royce Silver Spirit sat trapped amid the packed traffic.

Its windows were tightly shut, sealing out the heat and noise while the air conditioning blasted inside.

In the back seat, eleven year old Morrin White closed his copy of the Financial Times with a bored sigh.

He wore an expensive bespoke suit from Savile Row, his hair combed immaculately into place.

Despite his youthful face, there was a weariness about him that belonged to someone far older.

“Alfred, how much longer?” Morrin asked, glancing at the Patek Philippe on his wrist.

“My apologies, young master.

The road ahead is completely blocked.” The elderly butler glanced into the rear view mirror, sounding helpless.

“It appears there’s a…

remarkably large fellow obstructing the way.” Morrin sighed and turned to look out the window.

As someone who had been reborn with memories of his previous life, and a cheat system to boot, Morrin had long felt that his life had entered garbage time.

Ever since awakening the [Universal Trait Extraction System] at the age of three, he had devoted himself to discovering the limits of this world.

From a Nobel Prize laureate, he had extracted [Logical Mind Palace].

From an SAS operative, he had extracted [Combat Mastery].

From a Wall Street titan, he had extracted [Financial Acumen].

For eleven whole years, no matter how extraordinary the person he encountered, the highest grade Trait he had ever managed to extract was— Blue.

In Morrin’s understanding, White represented mediocrity, Green excellence, and Blue the absolute genetic limit of humanity.

White.

Green.

Blue.

Armed with an entire set of these ‘Blue Traits,’ he entered the stock market at five, began pulling the strings from behind the scenes at eight, and by ten had led the White family’s assets past ten billion pounds.

This world really is unbearably boring…

The thought had barely crossed his mind when a figure outside the window caught his attention.

That ‘freak’ really was strange.

By Morrin’s estimate, the man stood well over three and a half metres tall, like a small mountain on the move.

Tangled black hair and an equally wild beard concealed most of his face.

He was wrapped in a heavy moleskin coat and carried a battered pink umbrella in one hand.

Beside him walked a pitifully skinny boy wearing glasses.

Abnormal skeletal development?

Or an undiscovered human subspecies?

Morrin’s long dormant collector’s instinct suddenly stirred.

A physique that blatantly defied biomechanics like this had to possess some kind of Trait.

Even if it was only another Blue one, something like [Giant Strength].

It would still be an exceptionally rare specimen.

“Stop the car.” “Young master, we can’t stop here—” “I said stop.” Morrin pushed open the door, and a wave of heat struck him full in the face.

Ignoring the alarmed pedestrians hurriedly moving aside, he walked straight towards the giant.

Up close, the sheer pressure of the man’s size was even more astonishing.

Morrin barely came up to his thigh.

“Excuse me, mister!” Morrin called, tilting his head back and putting on an innocently charming smile.

Hagrid stopped and awkwardly turned around.

He looked this way and that for several seconds before finally noticing Morrin down by his feet.

“Oh, blimey.” Hagrid’s voice rumbled like distant thunder.

“Careful there, little ‘un.

Nearly stepped on you.” “No harm done, sir.

I’m Morrin White.” Morrin held out one pale little hand.

“You have an extraordinary physique.

Would I have the honour of shaking your hand?” Beside Hagrid, Harry Potter stared curiously at the boy his own age who seemed to radiate money from every stitch of his clothes.

Hagrid clearly wasn’t used to receiving such friendly attention.

Looking rather self-conscious, he wiped his palm against his coat before offering Morrin one enormous finger.

“Course.

Long as you don’t mind me smellin’ a bit of engine oil.

Name’s Rubeus Hagrid.” Now!

Morrin seized the finger.

[Ding!

Contact successful!] [Evaluating Trait…] Morrin instinctively expected another familiar Blue window to appear.

Instead, the system interface erupted with a blinding brilliance unlike anything he had ever seen before.

[Warning!

Higher-Dimensional Biological Signature detected!] [Probability adjustment in progress…

Incredible stroke of luck!] [Extraction successful!] The notification did not merely ring through Morrin’s mind.

A scorching torrent of energy, like molten lava, surged through Hagrid’s finger and poured madly into his body.

“Urgh!” Morrin grunted, his face flushing scarlet.

He instinctively summoned the system panel.

What appeared before his eyes made his pupils contract violently.

Purple?!” Morrin’s brain stopped working.

So Blue wasn’t the limit at all?

There were forces in this world on an entirely higher level?

Before he could even process what he was seeing, the [Magic Affinity] he had just extracted began rampaging through his utterly unprepared Muggle body.

“Magic…

This is magic?!” At last, it clicked.

Rubeus Hagrid.

Harry Potter.

Bloody hell!

This isn’t some urban reincarnation novel, this is Harry Potter?!

“Young master!

What’s wrong?!” Alfred cried, rushing towards him in panic.

“Don’t…

don’t come any closer!” Morrin gritted out, feeling as though his body were a balloon being inflated past its limit.

BOOM!!!

An invisible shockwave exploded outwards with Morrin at its centre.

CRASH!

Every window in the nearby Rolls Royce shattered into powder.

Street lamps crackled violently before bursting, while shop windows all around them collapsed in showers of glass.

Screaming pedestrians scattered in every direction.

Hagrid reacted almost instantly, sweeping Harry behind him and using his broad back to shield the boy from the flying shards.

Several seconds later, the storm subsided.

The street was a wreck.

Drained of all strength, Morrin swayed on his feet before collapsing into Hagrid’s enormous hand, which shot out just in time to catch him.

“Merlin’s beard…” Hagrid stared down at Morrin in his palm, his beetle black eyes wide with shock.

“That was some bit o’ magic…

You’re a wizard, lad!

And a frighteningly powerful little wizard at that!” Morrin panted heavily and forced his eyes open.

His body was utterly exhausted.

But the jaded boredom that had lived in his eyes for years was gone.

In its place burned the feverish, almost greedy excitement of an explorer who had just discovered an entirely new continent.

He looked at the dazzling Red and Purple Traits on his system panel.

Then he looked at all those suddenly dull and unimpressive Blue Traits beneath them.

Red.

Purple.

Purple…

Blue.

His ten billion pound fortune.

His business empire.

All of it suddenly seemed terribly uninteresting.

“A wizard…” Morrin murmured.

He wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, struggled back to his feet, and straightened the tie of his suit, now covered in tiny shards of glass.

Then he gave Hagrid an elegant and faintly mad smile.

“Mr Hagrid, if you don’t mind…

could I come along?” Morrin glanced back at the ruined Rolls Royce, pulled a chequebook from his pocket, and tossed it to his dumbstruck butler.

“Alfred, handle the compensation.

Tell Father I’m going away to a rather unusual boarding school.” With that, he turned back towards Hagrid, his eyes blazing with anticipation.

“I take it the place we’re going isn’t somewhere ordinary people can see?” ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ [💬 Feedback needed] My first idea was to swap the color traits with color circle emojis to make everything feel a bit more colorful and playful.

Then I had a little “wait a minute…” moment, what about colorblind readers?

😅 So I ended up keeping both the emoji and the color name, like 🟣 Purple.

A little extra color, but hopefully not extra noise!

Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

I’d love to hear if this works or if there’s a better way.
