Taking the time to change into his school robes, Aura flew out of his shirt as she perched on the small railing at the top of the cabin, especially placed for the luggage of the students.

“Come here.” He said as he took out some of her favorite treats.

Instantly, she disappeared in a burst of white fire, reappearing straight on top of his arm, her eyes locked on the treats held in his hand.Full novel: Harry Potter – Runic Lexicon — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

With a happy chirp, she immediately started eating as sound started coming from the train aisle, students slowly embarking on the train to school.

Pulling out his wand, he prepared to continue practicing magic until the moment the noble students would introduce themselves to him.

After all, as a lord, he was technically of the same status as their fathers, their lords of houses, and as such, he wasn’t expected to introduce himself having a higher status than the others.

All of these small details had been read in the book called: Nobles, customs and everything in between.

This specific book, despite having been written by a lord a few centuries ago, had been most instructive, something he greatly appreciated as he wouldn’t know where to start otherwise.

‘Until then, let’s work on the levitation charm, I’m at about 600 exp remaining before mastering it fully.’ He thought as he was not one to waste time, especially when he didn’t know how far behind he currently was.

With his wand moving habitually, Lux glanced from time to time out of the window noticing the hundreds if not thousands of students gradually embarking on the train, their families looking at them in the distance with proudness yet a bit of sadness at seeing them leave for months.

Looking away from the window, he focused once more on his practice and soon enough, the sound of the train sounded as motion could be felt, as the train gradually went faster and faster.

“I guess they will come to introduce themselves within the hour.” He muttered to himself as Aura stood on his shoulder, looking at the various treats floating in front of her master.

She seemed unable to comprehend why the treats floated but seeing her slurp up her saliva from time to time, he knew that she was incredibly tempted, especially since they simply floated in front of her. This chapter is updated first at g.com.

Taking a quick glance across the window, seeing the endless plains as they seemed to have already left London, he could barely see his reflection on the window as he confirmed that his robes were proper and his current stature was perfect for his introduction to the magical world.

Barely did he finish confirming his current attire that a knock resounded on the cabin’s door.

“Hello Lord Arden, my name is Daphne Greengrass, eldest daughter of the Greengrass family.” Started the young girl as she followed the same rules of nobility he had previously read when meeting a lord.

“Nice to meet you, I am Lux Arden.

Lord of Arden and StagHart.” He replied, getting up while following the proper procedures according to the book he had read.

As she looked around, she seemed surprised that he remained alone in his cabin.

“Is there no one who came before me?” She asked, an eyebrow raised as she couldn’t comprehend that everything her father had repeatedly hammered in her head before arriving at King’s Cross didn’t seem to happen.

“No, you are the first person to enter the cabin.” He replied with a shake of his head.

He too was surprised that the others hadn’t yet come by.

However, he was more than happy to push it back for as long as possible.

Perhaps Arkor had been exaggerating and perhaps he would have peace once he got to Hogwarts.

“I see.” She stammered as she certainly wasn’t expecting this situation to occur.

She had planned on arriving about fifth in the cabin in order to leave a proper introduction without looking like she desperately wished to meet him.

“In that case, give me a moment and I will go and get the others.” She said purposely, ready to go and get her family’s allies from the gray faction.

After all, it was the perfect moment to leave a proper, good and lasting impression on the young man who had only been introduced to the magical world a few months prior according to her father.

“There is no need.

I prefer my peace and quiet.” He immediately rejected her idea as he was neither interested in meeting people who felt forced to come to meet him and neither did he feel like meeting them would be needed.

After all, if the book he read was right, which it was due to Daphne’s presence being proof, then, the other children of noble families simply didn’t properly follow the rules dictated by their families and as such, creating any link with them would be useless at this current time.

They would only take their father’s nobility titles decades later unless they were very old and as such, they would never really have any interaction as he would have to deal with their fathers instead.

As such, he prefered not meeting them and only working on his own things. This chapter was copied from g.com without permission.

“Euh, alright.” She replied after a moment’s awkwardness as she didn’t know if she should leave or stay in the cabin now that he had spoken.

“You can leave if you want.” He simply stated!

noticing her current predicament as she followed the proper steps before leaving the cabin, closing the door respectfully behind her.

“Well, this is better than expected, isn’t it, Aura?” He asked his little phoenix that had flamed straight into his robes the moment she had noticed someone knocking on the door.

With a small smile, he went straight back to his studies.

Wasting time had never been his thing and now that he didn’t need to meet the others, he simply had more time.

Opening the window to allow for some fresh air, the young boy already missed the smell of the sea, a smell that had followed him for years.

Despite its danger, the sea had always comforted him in its own miraculous and endless ways.

As he practiced his magic, he always felt like something was missing, yet he knew he would have to get used to it unless Hogwarts was straight up on a beach.

As time went by, students continued to stroll along the corridor.

He noticed a few students with snacks in their hands but from what he heard, some rich kid had bought everything from the trolley before it reached the last few cabins causing them to miss having the chance of buying food.

Nevertheless, it wouldn’t be the first time he went hungry and he could certainly endure for another day or two if necessary.

Soon enough, the resplendent stars shone across the night’s sky, the moonlight, the only light that illuminated the train’s surroundings as the red locomotive slowed down, coming to a stop a few moments later as the students slowly disembarked.

Peace had been given to him over the entire train ride, something he was more than grateful for as he had prepared himself for his new experience and as he walked down onto the platform, not a hint of nervousness remained on his face.

His body, standing tall against the wind as he followed the loud shout of what he could only guess to be an extremely tall human, or a human mixed with some tall creature’s blood.
