As the last Kaiju to appear, Canberra was very different from the other Kaijus.

For instance, she had no race; she was the only one of her kind.

Furthermore, she wasn’t conceived through biological means but was generated by the Earth through unknown methods.Full novel: Harry Potter: The Kaiju Fell for Hermione — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Compared to other Kaijus, Canberra had little enthusiasm for territorial disputes or vying for status.

The Earth is vast; if one place doesn’t work out, she can just move to another, as there’s always somewhere she can live.

Thus, when other Kaijus fought, she moved; when other Kaijus waged war, she ate.

Her main characteristic was that, despite being a Kaiju, she was completely out of step with all of them.

Pale pink tentacles, tinged with white, extended, and Canberra casually grabbed a Mosasaurus with her ‘hand’ and stuffed it into her mouth to chew.

Yesterday, a Godzilla seemed to have arrived in this sea area, *chew, chew, chew*, should she move, *chew, chew, chew*.

Always moving might make her seem too soft, too easy to bully as a Kaiju, but…

what if she didn’t move and more MUTOs came to fight this Godzilla?

Stuffing the last bit of the Mosasaurus’s tail into her mouth, Canberra ultimately decided to move.

Kaijus just loved to fight; fighting was so bad.

Both she and her opponent would feel pain if hit.

Even being affected by other creatures’ fights would hurt.

Although Canberra’s self-healing ability was maxed out at birth, she didn’t want pain, much less injury.

Controlling her tentacles to move herself out of the cave, her massive, mountain-like body gradually revealed itself.

Her jellyfish-like head stretched for hundreds of meters, with a graceful, umbrella-like spread, and beneath her head, hundreds of octopus-like tentacles connected, each incredibly thick and no less than five hundred meters long.

Canberra was pale pink all over, with a slight white tint on the inner side of her tentacles and the underside of her head.

If the deep sea wasn’t truly darker, she would be very conspicuous in this form.

Bio-electrical waves emitted from the top of Canberra’s head, and she quickly located the Godzilla that had just arrived.

Hmm…

it found a spot to lie down, its physiological activities gradually diminished, its breathing gradually slowed.

It…

fell asleep?

Canberra’s massive tentacles twitched slightly, as if she wanted to reach out and see if that Godzilla was truly asleep.

Her tentacles were very flexible and could stretch fifty times their length, definitely enough to reach.

But what if it wasn’t asleep and bit her?

Canberra thought, then gave up the idea of probing.

Being bitten by a Godzilla, even though she’d never been bitten, just thinking about it was painful.

All her tentacles curved slightly, and the next moment, Canberra vanished from her spot.

Canberra had been able to change habitats since birth and had never been discovered by other Kaijus.

This was thanks to her speed, which was unrivaled among Kaijus, and the bio-electrical waves she could emit from her head.

The bio-electrical waves she emitted could detect other Kaijus, but other Kaijus couldn’t detect her.

So, as long as she wanted to run, no creature could stop her.

Running all the way to a place of ice and snow, Canberra contentedly wrapped herself around the bottom of a dozen icebergs, making her home there.

It was good; there were no other Kaijus here, perfect for her to live a peaceful life.

Throughout the long years, Canberra remained quietly at the bottom of the sea, and when hungry, she would simply coil up any marine creature and put it in her mouth to eat.

As long as it wasn’t a Kaiju, it was her food.

Speaking of which, Canberra chewed on the whale in her mouth, how long had she been here?

It seemed like a long time…

she remembered her diet had progressed from Mosasaurus to Megalodon, and from Megalodon to the current whales.

It’s been so long…

why haven’t her bio-electrical waves detected any signs of activity from any Kaijus?

They couldn’t all be dead, could they?

Canberra slowly loosened the tentacles wrapped around the icebergs; she decided to leave her habitat and check the situation.

Kaijus can also be curious, you know.

The icebergs, which had been coiled for untold millennia, were suddenly released, and a violent tremor greeted them.

Snow and ice massively detached from the icebergs; a casual movement by the Kaiju caused an entire region to shake the earth and mountains.

Her tentacles continuously contracted and expanded, contracted and expanded, as Canberra traversed the entire ocean.

Her speed was so great that all marine life could only catch a glimpse of her shadow.

During this time, she also sensed other Titans—some in the ocean, some on land, and even some in volcanoes.

Without exception, they were all in a deep slumber.

Why were they asleep?

Canberra scratched her large head with a tentacle, bewildered.

One sleeping was one thing, but all Kaijus were asleep.

Isn’t this a bit too strange?

And…

they were all asleep, only she wasn’t, and she didn’t even know they were asleep.

Canberra reasonably suspected that the other Kaijus were isolating her, and she had evidence.

But it was good that they were asleep; at least she wouldn’t have to bother moving anymore.

Thinking that all the Kaijus were asleep, Canberra began to drift casually with the ocean currents, letting them take her wherever.

As she repeatedly approached land, Canberra noticed changes occurring on the land.

Some kind of creature seemed to have appeared; they walked upright on two feet, lived in groups, and even knew how to go into the water to catch fish.

Although small and weak, they always managed to find ways to catch fish to eat.

Of course, they sometimes became exhausted, and when Canberra saw such ‘little ones’ sinking towards the seabed, she never minded giving them a push, helping them back to shore.

These intelligent little creatures found her very interesting, and helping them occasionally was fine.

At the same time, Canberra also noticed some changes happening in nature.

Some peculiar creatures appeared; although not very powerful, their abilities were very special.

Those abilities made Canberra feel a bit familiar, as if they were somewhat similar to her…

but she couldn’t pinpoint exactly how.

These things were like seasoning in her infinitely long life, making the years feel a bit more interesting.

One day, Canberra looked at the docking place that those interesting little creatures had built for their sea-faring vessels, and a thought suddenly sprouted in her mind: to go and see.

As soon as this thought emerged, Canberra’s body rapidly transformed.

Her originally mountain-sized body quickly shrank, becoming the same size as those little creatures.

She was even a bit smaller than most of them, with a height of just over one and a half meters, green eyes, fair skin, perfectly proportioned legs, and a head of brown hair drifting behind her with the seawater.

If not for the dozen or so pale pink tentacles extending from her back beneath her skirt, she would have been completely identical to those little creatures.

“Hmm…

becoming like this, it seems quite interesting?” Canberra opened her mouth and spoke to herself, completely unaware that the words she was now speaking were in a different language.

Using both her hands and feet, Canberra suddenly shot out of the sea, crystalline water droplets detaching from her fair skin.

The reflected water light added several points of beauty to her already soft and cute face.

Splash, falling back into the water, Canberra swam towards the nearby creations that had piqued her curiosity.

Bracing her hands on a wooden plank to lift herself out of the water, this was Canberra’s first time emerging from the ocean.

Although she knew she could also live in the sky, the food there wasn’t as abundant as in the sea.

Emerging from the sea, Canberra’s clothes were completely in harmony with the little creatures in front of her.

An elegant little dress, wearing white socks and sandals; if not for the tentacles extending from beneath her skirt, she would truly resemble a young lady from a noble family.

But precisely because of those tentacles, and the fact that she emerged from the sea, several men pointed at her in terror.

Canberra understood the words they were speaking.

“Monster!

Monster!” “Siren, is that a Siren?” “God, have you come to punish us?” Canberra blinked her round, big eyes.

Monster…

well, to these little creatures, she probably was, right?

But Siren…

what was that?

She had been in the sea for so many years, how had she never seen one?

They couldn’t be talking about her kin, those other Kaijus, could they?

As for the last one, God…

that was these little creatures’, uh, faith?

Canberra sorted through the various pieces of knowledge that had suddenly appeared in her mind, slowly understanding the entire situation.

Thanks to the Kaiju’s massive brain capacity and developed nervous system, Canberra wasn’t overwhelmed by the influx of information.

She had just finished processing all the information and confirmed that these little creatures called themselves humans, when she saw one of the male humans throw something at her.

That thing had a long wooden handle, with a sharp, silver object embedded in the front.

This was…

a spear?

A weapon humans used to attack, but useless against her, Canberra thought with absolute certainty as she watched the spear stab into her body.

Sure enough, the spear caused a deep indentation in Canberra’s body, but her body sustained no damage.

The next moment, the spear was ejected, returning along its original path, and heavily struck the head of the male human who had thrown it.

“Ow!” With a cry of pain, the man clutched his head, hopping in agony on the spot.

Canberra raised her hand and touched her nose.

That hurt already?

Humans were a bit too fragile, weren’t they?

Luckily, her kin were asleep, otherwise, with their fighting style, who knows how many humans would die wherever they fought.

But these humans were truly impolite, attacking her right away.

She had even helped their ancient ancestors back then.

Canberra pouted, leaned back, and returned to the sea, vanishing instantly.

Over the next few hundred years, Canberra didn’t go to see humans again; she was relatively lazy.

Having just ‘gone out’ a few hundred years ago, she didn’t want to go out now…

and so she simply stayed in her old spot in the Antarctic for several centuries.

Even when the Monarch Organization was established, searching for and monitoring Kaijus around the globe, no one ever found the only still-awake Canberra, who had no other activities besides feeding.

Of course, it might also be because Canberra consciously reduced her feeding behavior after seeing large-scale human maritime activities.

Canberra could actually be very laid-back about feeding; a power circulated within her body that kept her neither tired nor hungry.

What she called ‘feeding’ was simply her craving a snack, just to satisfy a craving.

As Canberra continued her peaceful existence, her bio-electrical currents once again detected strong activity above her head.

This was the first time she had detected signs of their activity again since all Kaijus fell into slumber in ancient times.

Her pale pink head slowly tilted towards the distance, “It’s a MUTO…” Canberra murmured, “It seems to have gone to land, and it’s a female MUTO, going to lay eggs?” “Sigh…

I hope those little ones aren’t harmed by the MUTO.” Remembering the humans, Canberra sighed; if it was a MUTO…

one of them alone could kill so many people.

Not two days later, Canberra heard a violent explosion, and her flexible tentacles twitched slightly; she was somewhat speechless.

“Laying an egg…

with such a big commotion, do you have to wake your old rival?

Couldn’t everyone just live peacefully?” Coiling around the dozen or so icebergs, Canberra casually swayed the tips of her tentacles.

She decided to take a nap herself, to prevent that MUTO from causing any more commotion that would disturb her.

Slowly settling down, Canberra fell into a long slumber, which lasted for decades.

Boom!

Boom!

Bang bang bang bang…

“Roar!” The violent sounds of gunfire mixed with the roars of Kaijus traveled across half the Earth, directly waking Canberra from her sleep.

Canberra, forcibly awakened, slightly tightened one tentacle, throwing an iceberg away as if letting off steam.

What the heck!

How could she be woken up even when she was asleep!

They were all Kaijus, why couldn’t they be a civilized Kaiju like her!

Canberra angrily swept her bio-electrical waves towards the source of the sound, and her anger instantly dissipated.

Oh, it was Godzilla and the MUTOs fighting again…

then it’s fine, let them make noise.

She couldn’t afford to provoke them…

At the same time, in the UK, a six-year-old girl hugged her mother’s arm, with a maturity and wisdom beyond her years on her face.

“Don’t be afraid, Mom, Godzilla definitely won’t lose, and the US military is helping it.” The woman, her face slightly pale, stroked her daughter’s head, “Don’t worry, Hermione, Mom isn’t scared.” She said that, but her hands were already trembling.

Although they were in the UK, and the MUTO monsters were in the US, who knew if they would come over.

Crossing countries would certainly not be difficult for such terrifying monsters.

It now seemed that Godzilla was beneficial to humans.

If it lost…

then those MUTOs.

Mrs.

Granger pursed her lips.

Mr.

Granger, seeing this, took a deep breath and hugged his wife and daughter, saying firmly.

“It’s alright, it’s alright, I’ll protect you.” “I’m here,” he said, kissing his wife’s cheek, and then looking down at his daughter in his arms, “Dad will protect you.”
