Listening to Canberra’s confident voice, Hermione couldn’t help but cover her mouth and giggle.

What a lovely Kaiju, completely different from the feeling Godzilla and MUTO gave her.

I’m actually quite curious.” After Hermione finished speaking, her eyes sparkled as she looked at Canberra, whose outline could only be vaguely seen in the darkness opposite.

“Okay.” Canberra nodded with a smile, spreading her arms.

She more skillfully mobilized the energy within her body than last time.

The next moment, a light pink glow flashed, and in that instant of light, Hermione saw a scene that she would never forget.

What a dreamlike, wonderful creature it was.

She didn’t seem like a creature that could exist in reality.

Instead, she was like a creature that only appeared in dreams: huge tentacles alternating between light pink and white, and an equally colored giant jellyfish-like head.

Hermione only had time for a full glance before Canberra had already grown so large that she couldn’t see her entirely.

Canberra floated in the air, her head reaching hundreds of meters high.

Countless tentacles hung down, gently swaying, all carefully avoiding Hermione.

For humans, even if Canberra’s tentacles only swayed instinctively, it would be enough to take their lives.

“So beautiful…” Hermione murmured, subtly extending her hand towards Canberra.

The words Mr.

and Mrs.

Granger had told her about being careful of Kaijus before coming to Cornwall Coast seemed to have been forgotten.

Or rather, she felt that Canberra didn’t need caution.

After all, this Kaiju, who had just spoken to her gently, and could now control her tentacles to avoid touching her, how could she be bad?

“Can I… touch you?” Hermione asked expectantly, then quickly added an explanation, “I don’t mean to offend you, I’m just very curious about you, and I truly think you’re beautiful.” Canberra’s chuckling laughter came from high above, clearly reaching Hermione’s ears, yet not seeming loud.

“Of course you can.” After speaking, Canberra controlled one of her tentacles to slowly approach Hermione.

It stopped about half a meter away from her, and then the tip of the tentacle extended towards her even more slowly.

Hermione took a deep breath, trying to suppress her excitement, and reached out to touch the somewhat indistinct tentacle in front of her.

Smooth, slightly sticky, but not an unpleasant sensation, Hermione evaluated in her mind.

Gently holding the tentacle in her hand, Hermione couldn’t suppress the smile on her face.

She had touched a Kaiju!

She had truly touched a Kaiju!

And it was such a beautiful, gentle Kaiju.

She wondered if she was the first person in the world to calmly interact with a Kaiju like this.

Canberra looked down at Hermione, her powerful night vision clearly showing her the smile on Hermione’s face.

Blinking, Canberra didn’t quite understand why this human Little Cub was smiling so happily.

Was she really that popular with her?

It was a bit strange.

As a Kaiju, many creatures would fear her due to innate instinct, even that adult human in the Middle Ages was like that.

But this human Little Cub wasn’t afraid of her, and was even happy to be able to touch her?

She really wasn’t afraid that she would suddenly hurt her.

Just as she was thinking this, Canberra suddenly heard Hermione’s voice.

Looking down, the human Little Cub was holding the tip of her tentacle with both hands, rubbing it and speaking.

“Can I know your name?

Oh wait, I should say, do you have a name?” “Of course.” Canberra chuckled, the tip of her tentacle lightly moving in Hermione’s palms, “My name is Canberra.” “Canberra, that’s a very nice name.” “Thank you.” “My name is Hermione, Hermione Granger.” Hermione looked up, smiling at the deep, unseen night sky above.

She knew that up there, a Kaiju was gently looking at her with a smile.

“Hermione, your name is also very nice.” “Thank you,” Hermione smiled happily, “Canberra, will you be staying here often from now on?” Canberra thought for a moment, the tip of her tentacle tapping Hermione’s palm, “Hmm, barring any unforeseen circumstances, I will be living in the deep sea some distance from here.” “Ah,” Hermione pursed her lips, “It’s a shame I have to leave tomorrow.

I’ve only seen you once…” Hearing the regret in Hermione’s words, Canberra, who as a Kaiju didn’t have complex thoughts, rolled her eyes.

“Hmm…

then tonight, would you like to play some exciting games?” “More exciting than the ATV you rode during the day.” Hermione’s eyes widened slightly, looking up at the darkness, “You saw me riding the ATV during the day?” “Yes,” Canberra said gently, “I was watching from a few hundred meters off the coast.” “Oh…” Hermione’s face flushed slightly, “You said you’d take me to play an exciting game, what game is it?” Meeting Hermione’s expectant gaze, Canberra let out a hearty laugh, “Little Cub, are you interested in riding a Kaiju to explore the ocean?” Riding a Kaiju to explore the ocean?!

Hermione’s mouth dropped open in astonishment.

If anyone else had said that to her, she would have thought they were crazy.

That was a Kaiju, even close contact was dangerous.

Riding on it…

wasn’t that a wild fantasy?

But now, Canberra said it, a real Kaiju said it.

So, could she?

Hermione swallowed, she knew she wanted to say yes.

But, “My mom and dad probably wouldn’t agree to me going out so late.” Canberra, who had always been parentless and did whatever she pleased, gently swayed the tip of her tentacle.

“It’s okay, I remember your scent.

Tonight at midnight, stand by your room window, and I’ll extend a tentacle to pick you up.” “Okay!” Hermione agreed without hesitation.

She really couldn’t be blamed for agreeing so rashly; the allure of riding a Kaiju across the sea was simply too great.

One might ask, if this opportunity were presented to the world, how many people could refuse?

Acutely hearing sounds from the direction of the restaurant, Canberra retracted her tentacle.

“Quite a few people are coming out of the restaurant…” Before Canberra could finish speaking, Hermione immediately said, “Then hurry and go, don’t let them see you.” If someone saw Canberra and called the police, then the Y-country officials might send the army to capture or even kill her.

Canberra was so cute, so soft, how tragic would that be?

She had to leave quickly.

One could only say that this was truly Hermione’s deep misunderstanding of her country’s army and of Canberra.

“Okay,” Canberra retracted her tentacle upwards, her voice gradually fading, “I will come for you at exactly midnight, Hermione.” “Okay, I’ll be waiting for you.” Hermione waved towards the sea, calling out happily in a soft voice, then slowly sat back down on the beach, a brilliant smile on her face.

A few minutes later, Mr.

and Mrs.

Granger found Hermione sitting on the beach, staring at the sea, “lost in thought.” “Did you find that little girl, Hermione?” Mrs.

Granger sat down next to her daughter and draped a jacket over her.

It was very cool by the sea at night, with a large temperature difference.

They couldn’t let Hermione catch a cold.

“I found her!” Hermione tugged at her clothes and excitedly snuggled into her mother’s arms.

“Her name is Canberra, and she’s a particularly gentle and friendly person.” Hermione paused slightly when she said the word ‘person,’ but neither Mr.

nor Mrs.

Granger noticed.

“To receive such high praise from our Hermione, she must truly be a wonderful, wonderful child.” Mr.

Granger sat down next to his wife, and together with his wife and daughter, they looked at the sea in front of them.

The family of three sat on the beach, enjoying the tranquility and serenity.

In the sea a few hundred meters away, Canberra transformed back into her human form and splashed into the ocean.

The tentacles revealed beneath her skirt swayed slightly, a splash of water appeared, and Canberra turned around, resurfacing.

Her green eyes looked at the family of three sitting on the beach, and Canberra clicked her tongue, “So this is how human parents and children interact.” “It’s really different from Kaijus.” For Kaijus, they only needed to protect their Little Cub before they were born, and then their own Little Cub could go out and fight with the Little Cub of other Kaijus.

Adult Kaijus only needed to ensure that their species’ Little Cub weren’t bullied by adult Kaijus of other species.

However, watching Hermione’s family interact on the beach, Canberra felt there was something more between them…

something she didn’t quite understand.

She submerged her mouth into the sea and blew a bubble, “I don’t understand, I don’t understand, after all, I’m not human.” She didn’t even have parents…

Canberra leisurely lay back, and her whole ‘person’ floated on the sea.

There was still a long time until the midnight she had agreed upon with Hermione.

She could lie on the sea and look at the stars.

A tentacle extended from behind her, pointing at the stars in the sky one by one from a distance.

It seemed that in ancient times there was a monster, yes, a monster.

It couldn’t be called a Kaiju because it wasn’t a native species of Earth.

It was from outer space.

Canberra remembered it was called…

Ghidorah?

Back then, it seemed to have fought quite fiercely with the Godzilla clan.

Canberra shook her head with a sigh.

The Godzilla clan back then was powerful, warlike, and could fight anyone: the MUTO clan, the Kong clan, Ghidorah.

All for the position of leading other Kaijus.

Was this position so great?

Canberra didn’t think so.

Anyway, no matter who led other Kaijus, it had nothing to do with her, a Kaiju with no sense of presence at all.

Even now, probably no other Kaiju knew of her existence.

Look at her, how safe she was, she didn’t even need to fall into slumber.

Floating leisurely on the sea until midnight, Canberra then flipped over and plunged into the water.

A light pink glow flashed, and the massive Kaiju revealed her form in the sea.

Her giant jellyfish-like head “spread” across the sea surface.

Poof!

A massive tentacle broke out of the water, and the next moment, the hundreds-of-meters-long tentacle instantly elongated, heading towards the hotel on the Cornwall Coast with incredible speed and flexibility.

Canberra’s head, “spread” on the sea surface, gently trembled.

Even from a great distance, she could still smell Hermione’s scent in the air.

The rapidly extending tentacle stopped in front of a window, tapping it ever so lightly.

Thump, thump, thump…

Hermione, who had been sitting on the bed eagerly awaiting Canberra, instantly jumped up, glanced at the clock in the room—it was exactly midnight.

Running happily to the window and opening it, Hermione reached out and held the tip of Canberra’s tentacle, rubbing it.

“So punctual!” “Little Cub, it’s very cold on the ocean, wear more clothes.” Canberra’s voice came from afar, like an ancient whisper.

Hermione nodded vigorously, turned to go back into the room, grabbed the thickest clothes she had, put them on, and quickly ran back to the window.

“I’m dressed.” Canberra’s tentacle slowly rotated, revealing its white side covered with suckers.

The tentacle wiggled and widened.

Now, even the tip of the tentacle was large enough to accommodate several Hermiones lying side by side without a problem.

It looked like a large white bed with suckers.

“Come on up, Little Cub, the ocean journey is about to begin.” Hermione climbed onto the windowsill and walked steadily onto Canberra’s tentacle, sitting down.

Soon, Canberra’s tentacle wiggled and curled up.

Hermione slid into one of the suckers, feeling the soft and springy sensation beneath her, and was firmly enveloped by this tentacle.

It was like sleeping in a round, spacious sleeping bag.

The tentacle retracted at a rapid speed, yet Hermione, lying within it, felt no bumps or dizziness from the fast movement.

After retracting her tentacle, Canberra slowly opened her tentacles and gently “poured” Hermione onto her head.

Hermione stood up, looking at the large expanse of light pink “land” beneath her feet by the moonlight.

“This is your…” “Oh, it’s my head.” Canberra said matter-of-factly, “It’s quite soft.

You can lie on it like a bed, or play on it like a trampoline.” “My head is very big, you don’t have to worry about falling into the sea.” “Alright, thank you.” Hermione raised a hand to scratch her cheek, deciding not to ponder the politeness of standing on Canberra’s head.

She wouldn’t think about that, but to use someone’s head as a trampoline…

she still couldn’t bring herself to do that, it was too impolite.

Hermione obediently sat on Canberra’s head, curiously observing her surroundings.

The moonlight on the sea was truly bright.

She could see Canberra’s light pink head “spread out,” extending for hundreds of meters, perhaps even larger.

She could also see the distant sea, and…

countless tentacles belonging to Canberra, continuously wiggling beneath the surface.

“Sit tight, Little Cub, I’m going to take you on a swim across the sea.” “Oh, oh, okay.” Hermione nodded, her expression serious as she adjusted her sitting posture, ensuring she was sitting steadily on Canberra’s head.

The next moment after she had adjusted, a faint splashing sound arose, and Canberra began to move swiftly across the sea surface.

Even with Canberra controlling her speed, Hermione could tell just by the receding view of the distant sea that Canberra’s speed was truly much faster than any ship she had ever seen on television.
