Malfoy looked smugly at Charlen.

He hadn’t forgotten their encounter in Diagon Alley.

In his eyes, such a young professor was completely unreliable.Full novel: Harry Potter: The Pokemon Master of Hogwarts — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

He truly didn’t understand why his father and mother insisted he must show him respect.

“Mr.

Malfoy surely wouldn’t want to mention to you that he encountered a massive Venusaur during the summer holidays.” Charlen glanced at him without any trace of anger, simply telling him to sit down first.

“I know many of you are probably skeptical about whether creatures like Pokémon actually exist.

That is why, from the very beginning, I intended to let you see them with your own eyes.

Real Pokémon!” Under the watchful eyes of dozens of students, Charlen took out four red-and-white spheres and tossed them into the air.

Instantly, four streaks of crimson lightning burst forth, and four massive silhouettes flew out.

Some spread their giant wings and zipped through the air, some leaped and bounded among the crowd, and others glided along the ceiling.

Terrified expressions appeared on all the students’ faces.

“Hey, I’ve seen that one before—Pidgeot.

I flew on its back during the summer,” Harry excitedly shared with his friends right away.

Meanwhile, Ron stared dumbfounded at the crimson lion as it drew closer and closer!

Pyroar took majestic strides, patrolling its territory like a king, then threw its head back and spat a stream of scorching fire into the air.

This left the young wizards both captivated and terrified.

On the other side, a large purple snake coiled around the area where the Slytherins were gathered.

Its cold gaze forced the little snakes to retreat several steps, terrified that the giant serpent would bare its fangs and tear into them.

“Does anyone recognize them?” Charlen asked with a smile.

The classroom fell silent.

Many wanted to answer, but they trembled in fear of making any noise that might provoke an attack from these creatures.

Finally, a Hufflepuff student raised their hand, because the Pokémon representing them looked much smaller and far less ferocious.

“That giant bird is Pidgeot, the purple snake is Ekans, and I don’t know the other two, Professor.” “You got one right.

One point to Hufflepuff.

Does anyone else want to try?” At that moment, Hermione raised her hand as if overcoming her fear, and said, “That is not an Ekans, but an Arbok, the Cobra Pokémon.

It’s a Poison-type.

Arbok is the evolved form of Ekans, which involves ‘evolution’—a phenomenon unique to Pokémon.” “Excellent, another point to Gryffindor.” Charlen did not ask any more questions.

Instead, he recalled the four Pokémon to his side.

The students finally breathed a collective sigh of relief, and they immediately began to chatter with immense excitement.

“That lion is so cool, isn’t it?” “I just stroked that giant snake,” Malfoy immediately bragged to the others.

In reality, even if he jumped, he wouldn’t have been able to touch Arbok’s tail.

The four Pokémon gathered around Charlen.

The largest was Arbok, measuring a full 3.5 meters long, with a body as thick as an adult’s thigh.

Its hood spread wide like oval-shaped wings, sporting a terrifying, eye-like pattern.

Quite a few girls couldn’t help but shiver at the sight of it.

But for the little snakes of Slytherin, nothing was more spectacular than such a terrifying giant serpent.

“As we all know, Hogwarts has four Houses, and each House has its own symbolic animal: the lion of Gryffindor, the snake of Slytherin, the eagle of Ravenclaw, and the badger of Hufflepuff,” Charlen said, gesturing to the four corresponding Pokémon.

“Pidgeot and Arbok are among the 146 species of Pokémon we will be studying this school year.

I will introduce them to you in more detail when the time comes.

Today, let’s talk about these two beforehand—” As Charlen spoke, he recalled Pidgeot and Arbok, then began to stroke Pyroar and the remaining Pokémon.

“Pyroar, the Royal Pokémon.

Obviously, its primary type is Fire, while its secondary type is Normal.” At this moment, all the young wizards were listening with rapt attention, terrified of missing a single detail regarding these magical creatures.

No one even noticed when an elderly, white-bearded wizard had slipped into the back of the classroom.

Charlen did notice Dumbledore, but he paid him no mind.

“Among the vast number of Pokémon, Pyroar is one of the few species with distinct gender differences.

Male and female Pyroar have completely different patterns on their fiery manes, and the males are much more sturdily built.” With a wave of his hand, an animated image of a female Pyroar appeared on the blackboard.

“Pyroar can breathe intense, high-temperature flames, with temperatures reaching up to 6,000 degrees Celsius.” Charlen let Pyroar demonstrate its strength and abilities a bit more, eliciting waves of gasps and cheers from the young wizards.

It felt less like a classroom and more like a circus.

“Would anyone like to come up and stroke Pyroar?” Charlen’s gaze swept over the class as he spoke encouragingly.

Quite a few were tempted, but as soon as they made eye contact with Pyroar, they were frozen in place by its majestic demeanor.

Malfoy, who had just bragged about stroking Arbok, now kept his mouth tightly shut.

“No one?” Charlen asked again.

“There’s no need to worry.

It won’t hurt you, as long as you don’t show any hostility.” After a moment, Harry raised his hand.

“Professor, I’d like to try,” he said, swallowing hard.

Perhaps because of his previous experience with Pidgeot, Harry didn’t have much fear of Pokémon.

“Excellent.

Three points to Gryffindor for your bravery.” While soothing Pyroar, Charlen guided Harry on how to interact with it.

“Pyroar is the Royal Pokémon.

It doesn’t like anyone challenging its authority.

So when you interact with it, show no hostility and do not look aggressive.

As long as it doesn’t perceive you as a threat, it generally won’t attack you.” By now, Harry had carefully walked up to Pyroar.

Under the watchful eyes of the lion and Charlen, he began to stroke its mane.

Once Harry returned to his seat, Charlen recalled Pyroar.

Now, only the last Pokémon remained.

“Linoone, the Rushing Pokémon.

It’s a Normal-type.

It runs extremely fast but prefers to move only in straight lines.

It won’t back down even when facing enemies stronger than itself—it is a highly resilient Pokémon.

Doesn’t that sound a lot like our Hufflepuff wizards?” “Would anyone like to come up and stroke it?” Perhaps because Linoone didn’t look as fierce as Pyroar, quite a few students were willing to try this time.

Soon, their very first lesson came to an end.

Charlen assigned almost no homework.

It wasn’t that this class didn’t require any homework, but rather that the current skill level of these wizards wasn’t high enough to warrant any yet.
