The first thing that hit him was an intensely stimulating spiciness, followed by the saltiness and sweet fragrance of the bell peppers, and finally, all three flavors blended together.

Unfortunately, this body clearly wasn’t accustomed to such an intense taste.

Three seconds after taking a bite, Aine’s lips had already begun to swell and turn red.Full novel: Harry Potter: The Retired Archmage — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Seeing Aine in this state, Tucker couldn’t help bursting into laughter.

Tucker’s laughter clearly irritated Aine, who immediately shoved a piece of toad meat into Tucker’s mouth.

Tucker chewed it while continuously making sizzling sounds.

The delicious taste completely occupied Tucker’s thoughts, making him forget what the Long-Horned Toad had looked like when it was alive.

The two of them then teamed up with the house-elves to get some bread and cheese, and began eating lunch right there in the kitchen.

Only after eating until his mouth was greasy with oil did Aine finally say, “So?

You’re not afraid anymore, right~”

Tucker, lying on the floor, lazily replied, “Afraid of what?

It’s already in my stomach!”

Just then, Cedric and the twins entered the kitchen.

They immediately smelled the delicious aroma filling the entire kitchen and saw Tucker lying on the floor, while Aine was picking his teeth.

Aine noticed Cedric, but before he could say anything, Fred grabbed him around the neck.

” Aine !

You found something good to eat and didn’t even call me!”

George picked up a fork and poked at the Spicy Toad still sitting in the pot.

He picked out a piece of white toad meat and put it into his mouth.

The resulting “Ssss~ ssss~” sound immediately caught Cedric’s attention.

Cedric also picked up another fork and took a piece of meat, immediately entering the same “Ssss~ ssss~” state.

Fred threw Aine onto the floor and joined the “Ssss~ ssss~” group.

Aine’s pot of Spicy Toad conquered all four of their tongues.

Meanwhile, Aine got up from the floor, rubbed the back of his head, and added, “Fred, you did that on purpose!”

Seeing this scene, Tucker couldn’t help laughing.

The moment Aine heard Tucker’s laughter, he immediately pounced on him and started wrestling with him.

After fooling around with Tucker for a while, he finally asked Fred and George, “You’re done with classes?

Why are you here at this time?” Find the original chapter at g.com.

Fred chewed on one of the toad’s legs as he replied, “We’re done~ Professor McGonagall’s class was so serious.”

George picked up a piece of wheat bread, dipped it into the sauce in the pot, and continued Fred’s sentence, “But it was pretty interesting!”

Hearing the two of them, Aine turned his head toward Cedric.

“And what’s your situation?”

“I was walking down the corridor toward the Great Hall when I ran into these two discussing where the kitchen was, so I simply brought them here.”

Fred said, “And then we saw you eating with this friend of yours!”

George added, “And you didn’t even call us!”

Aine grabbed both of them by the collars and shook them back and forth.

“How was I supposed to know when your classes would end?!

It’s already good enough that you have food to eat!

And now you’re blaming me for the whole pot!”

Tucker stood up and straightened his clothes before extending his right hand toward Cedric.

“Tucker Rhine, Ravenclaw.”

Cedric shook Tucker’s hand.

“Cedric Diggory, Hufflepuff.”

Fred and George, still wrestling with Aine, introduced themselves one after another.

“I’m Fred!

Oh~ George!

Don’t hit my face!”

“I’m George!

I didn’t do it!”

Aine managed to free one hand while fighting the twins two against one, gave George a slap like the a slap with surprising force, and said, “They’re the Weasleys, students from Gryffindor.

They’re my cousins, only a few hours older than me!

Oh!

Fred, you sneak-attacked me!”

The two spectators watching the three of them wrestle kept cheering them on.

Cedric shouted, “Fred, kick George!

Yes!

Just like that!”

Tucker also shouted, “George!

Slap Aine in the face!

Yes!

Yes!

Just like that!”

Taking advantage of the twins being distracted, Aine immediately dragged Tucker and Cedric into the “battlefield.”

After Tucker took a kick from George and Cedric received a headbutt from Fred, what had originally been three people’s horseplay turned into a five-person brawl.

After fooling around for a while, the five of them finally stopped.

In the end, none of them had been injured, though their clothes were dirty.

The five of them then spent the entire afternoon attending classes with their hair looking like bird’s nests, making them famous figures in their respective classrooms.

Aine could have avoided this situation, but for the sake of their friendship, he stubbornly endured the entire afternoon.

Even Professor McGonagall, who had transformed back from a cat into her human form, couldn’t draw the students’ attention away from them.

Aine, Cedric, and Tucker thoroughly stole the spotlight in front of their Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw classmates.

Unlike the Ravenclaws, who had to hold back their laughter until their faces turned red, the Hufflepuffs’ roaring laughter was the real highlight.

It left the usually serious Professor McGonagall completely helpless.

Whether she scolded them or ignored them, neither seemed appropriate.

And so, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw spent a cheerful Transfiguration class together.

After returning to the common room, Aine thought about tomorrow’s Flying and History of Magic classes and immediately developed a headache.

One was lively enough to be unbearable, while the other was boring enough to be unbearable.

Therefore, Aine decided to go exploring the castle at night!

Aine, who finished his homework for the day in just three minutes, immediately appeared outside the common room.

When he passed by the kitchen, however, the Weasley twins caught him from behind.

After listening to the twins talk over each other, Aine learned that the two brothers had been caught while sneaking around the castle the previous night, and had come to ask him how to explore the castle at night without being discovered.

The Weasley twins really were geniuses.

They learned the Disillusionment Charm and the Quietening Charm immediately after Aine taught them, and even took one of Aine’s bottles of camphor-leaf essence.

After dealing with the twins, Aine continued his nighttime exploration of the second floor.
