As he walked, Aine thought about the Long-Horned Toad he had cooked at noon.

He realized that although the Tranquility Flower and Nightbloom Flower had given the Spicy Toad a pleasant aroma, they had not brought out any of their medicinal effects.

The effects were negligible, and it would be better to simply eat them directly.Full novel: Harry Potter: The Retired Archmage — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Therefore, Aine needed to modify the ingredients used in the dish.

The Long-Horned Toad had already been confirmed as the main ingredient.

What was missing now was a change in the supporting ingredients, and that was the most difficult part.

After all, it had taken Aine two whole years to complete the recipe for Spiral-Horned Rabbit and truly turn it into a magical recipe with a miraculous magical effect.

This time, the Spicy Toad made Aine realize that the reason he had been able to complete the Roasted Spiral-Horned Rabbit recipe back then was purely a matter of luck.

Now, he needed more knowledge of potions and magical herbs to fill in the missing pieces.

After Aine walked out of the last classroom on the second floor, he finally understood the true essence of exploring the castle at night: not every day was going to bring a surprise.

After exploring the third and fourth floors, Aine became even more convinced that this was the truth.

He then began exploring the castle walls.

After entering a magical room, Aine discovered that this castle was simply too incredible.

It even had something like this!

This was a classroom for teaching Alchemy.

Judging from its condition, no one had activated it for a very long time.

Aine also found a set of Alchemy textbooks in a small bookcase at the back.

Principles of Alchemy, Applications of Alchemy, Detailed Explanation of Alchemical Runes, Rune Dictionary…

The collection contained detailed advanced tutorials, along with more than a dozen study notebooks.

Aine wanted to find the owner of this set of books, but in the section for the owner’s name, there was only a lifelike phoenix.

After looking at the phoenix, Aine already had a guess.

The crystal ball on the podium was the authority center of the classroom.

Whoever controlled this crystal ball effectively controlled the entire classroom.

Aine changed the classroom into a laboratory and set himself as the only person allowed to enter.

After inputting his magic power, he completely activated the classroom.

The lights came on.

Only then did Aine discover just how precious this classroom was.

It had everything needed for Alchemy, from rune knives to microscopes, synthesis tables and alchemy tables, and even an enchanting table and smelting furnace.

And so, Aine began his days of studying Alchemy in this classroom.

In the Headmaster’s Office at Hogwarts, Dumbledore, who had been dealing with school affairs, suddenly stopped.

Beside him, the phoenix Fawkes was perched on a gold-inlaid sycamore stand and glanced at Dumbledore.

Then Dumbledore said to someone, “It’s nothing~ Just a child opening a door leading to a secret.”

Aine was completely unaware of this.

He rearranged the classroom’s layout and also made a trip to the common room to bring out a set of potion-making equipment, placing it inside the Alchemy classroom.

The original blackboard became Aine’s study progress chart.

After the classroom was transformed into a laboratory, only the Headmaster and its designated owner had permission to enter.

Aine had completely turned the classroom into his private laboratory.

The next morning, Aine attended a History of Magic class without the slightest bit of energy.

With a group of obedient students serving as cover, Aine slept through the entire morning.

That afternoon, during Flying class, Aine’s powerful magic made the broom choose to submit.

Of course, Cedric’s excellent flying talent also earned Madam Hooch’s praise.

Thanks to the careful observations of the older students, Aine discovered that, aside from his Preservation Charm not working as he wished, he also possessed a special affinity for magical plants.

Any magical plant Aine cared for would become exceptionally vibrant, and its medicinal properties would reach their maximum.

After noticing these abnormalities, one of the older students gave Aine a suggestion.

He should go to his Head of House and apply for permission to enter the greenhouses, learn how to care for these magical plants, and study how to research their uses. Enjoying the story? Read on at g.com.

After all, even in the country alone, there were more than one hundred thousand species of magical plants whose uses had yet to be discovered.

Therefore, Aine’s current routine became studying Alchemy in the Alchemy classroom at night.

After all, Alchemy was closely related to Ancient Runes.

After classes ended in the afternoon, he would go to the greenhouses and learn how to care for magical plants from his Head of House.

Magical plants were also related to the magical recipes he was researching.

Aine’s plans were now proceeding smoothly.

Both Ancient Runes and his magical recipes had research plans in place.

After a week of research, Aine finally used Alchemy to create a special bottle.

Early the next morning, Aine went straight to Hagrid’s hut.

Today was Saturday, so Aine could have as much fun as he wanted.

As for the interesting incident that happened when Aine first became acquainted with Hagrid, that would be explained later.

“Hagrid!

Hagrid!

I finished my creation!”

After hearing Aine’s shout, Hagrid opened the door of his hunting hut.

The tall, massive Hagrid appeared in front of Aine.

“Oh~ It’s Aine~ What, are you here to see if the peppers have ripened?”

“No!

I came to ask you for some milk.

I have a few experiments to do!”
