A whirlwind suddenly formed around Charlotte’s body, kicking up dust throughout the sealed room.

Tiny arcs of lightning crackled within the eye of the vortex.

At the same time, Charlotte himself underwent a dramatic transformation.Full novel: Harry Potter: The Strongest Animagus in History — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

His black eyes turned a golden-brown, while fine golden down began spreading across his face.

Riiip!

The sound of tearing cloth echoed through the room as a pair of small wings burst from his back.

“It worked!

I finally did it!” Seeing the changes taking place, the old wizard, Magis, let out an ecstatic scream, his face twisting with manic delight.

“Do you see it, White?

He’s the only Animagus in the entire wizarding world capable of transforming into a magical creature!

This is a monumental breakthrough!

I, Magis Armstrong, will become a legend of the wizarding world!” “Hahaha…

Hahahaha!” Staring at Charlotte, who had completely transformed into a Thunderbird, Magis was nearly delirious with excitement.

“Merlin’s beard…

a genuine Thunderbird!

Look at those magnificent feathers!

And those talons—they’re sharp enough to pierce steel!

Perfect…

absolutely perfect!

Not a single flaw!” White’s face was equally filled with excitement.

He could already sense the Thunderbird’s overwhelming power.

And this was only an eleven-year-old wizard.

If he could successfully fuse with a Thunderbird bloodline, he would become even more powerful.

By then, even facing the Dark Lord himself wouldn’t frighten him.

Besides…

Who said he had to choose a Thunderbird?

There were dragons, phoenixes, and countless other powerful magical creatures.

The mere thought made an uncontrollable smile spread across his face.

Just then, the system’s voice rang out in Charlotte’s mind.

“Ding!

Thunderbird bloodline successfully fused!” Name: Charlotte Elvis Age: 11 Race: Human (Thunderbird Form) Occupation: Wizard (Animagus) Talent: Thunderstorm Strength: 12 Intelligence: 9 Magic Power: 15 Spells: None Skill Points: 0 Charlotte froze as he looked over his status.

He had actually become an Animagus capable of transforming into a magical creature.

Anyone familiar with the wizarding world knew that even becoming an ordinary animal through the Animagus transformation was considered one of the most advanced forms of magic.

That was why only a handful of witches and wizards throughout history had ever mastered it.

As for transforming into a magical creature…

No one had ever accomplished such a feat.

Even Merlin—the greatest wizard in history—had merely been said to transform into various fearsome beasts and even microscopic organisms to attack his enemies.

Yet Charlotte had not only transformed into a Thunderbird, but had also inherited its innate ability— Thunderstorm.

He could already feel the immense power coursing through his body.

It seemed that a single beat of his wings would be enough to summon hurricanes and lightning storms.

Watching the two Dark Wizards celebrating in excitement, a surge of fury shot straight to his head.

“Kreeee!” A clear, piercing cry echoed throughout the chamber.

Charlotte suddenly spread all six of his wings.

Instantly— Violent winds exploded outward.

The cramped room was engulfed by an overwhelming wave of compressed air.

Before Magis and White could even react, the hurricane-like blast sent both men flying backwards.

Bang!

They slammed hard into the stone wall.

White fared slightly better, suffering only minor injuries.

But the elderly Magis wasn’t so fortunate.

The impact shattered the wooden door behind him, and jagged splinters pierced straight through his chest.

He clearly wasn’t going to survive.

Lying on the ground, White frantically pulled out his wand and shouted at the Thunderbird before him, “Avada—” Crack!

Before he could finish the incantation, a blinding bolt of lightning slammed directly into his chest.

His body was hurled through the air once again.

This time…

He wasn’t getting back up.

Smoke rose from every part of White’s body, and Charlotte could even smell burnt flesh in the air.

Not taking any chances, Charlotte immediately fired another bolt of lightning at Magis.

Although the old man was already more dead than alive, Dark Wizards were notorious for their unpredictable tricks.

If the old bastard somehow managed to cast Avada Kedavra while Charlotte let his guard down…

That would be the end of him.

“Ding!

Congratulations, Host!

You have killed the Dark Wizards White Clare and Magis Brooke.” “Rewards obtained:” Skill Points ×2 Occlumency Killing Curse Charlotte blinked in surprise.

So killing Dark Wizards rewarded skill points…

It even granted spells.

Still…

Receiving one of the three Unforgivable Curses—the Killing Curse—as his very first spell…

Is this system trying to turn me into a Dark Wizard?

On the other hand, Occlumency was an incredible reward.

He was a transmigrator, and now an Animagus capable of transforming into a magical creature.

If word of that ever spread, he’d undoubtedly end up captured by some twisted wizard and dissected alive for research.

In the original story, Severus Snape had mastered Occlumency to an extraordinary degree.

Even Voldemort’s Legilimency couldn’t penetrate his thoughts.

Its value was beyond question.

Without hesitation, Charlotte invested both of his newly earned skill points into Occlumency.

His status updated immediately.

Spells: Occlumency (Level 2) Killing Curse (Level 0) Level 2 Occlumency was already considered proficient.

It would be more than enough to defend against the mental intrusion of ordinary witches and wizards.

After all, no one would ever suspect that a boy who hadn’t even started Hogwarts had already mastered such an advanced spell.

Suddenly, a powerful wave of exhaustion swept through Charlotte’s body.

The next moment, he felt himself shrinking.

In the blink of an eye, the majestic Thunderbird disappeared, and he returned to his human form.

Looks like the Thunderbird transformation has a time limit…

It continuously drains both my magic and physical stamina.

Thud…

Thud…

Thud…

A series of hurried footsteps echoed from outside the room.

Charlotte’s heart instantly leapt into his throat.

His magic was completely exhausted.

He couldn’t even move a finger.

If another Dark Wizard appeared now…

Wouldn’t he just be escaping one tiger’s den only to walk into another?

Just as his heartbeat was about to burst out of his chest, several men dressed in black coats rushed into the room.

Leading them was a burly, middle-aged man with a stern expression.

The most striking feature was the magical eye replacing one of his own.

Alastor “Mad-Eye” Moody.

The moment Charlotte recognized him, he finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Mad-Eye Moody might have looked intimidating, but he was one of the most trustworthy Light Wizards alive—a legendary Auror of the Ministry of Magic.

In the original story, when Harry Potter was being moved from Privet Drive, the Death Eaters had assumed the Ministry would assign its finest Auror to protect him.

In Voldemort’s eyes, that person wasn’t Arthur Weasley or Remus Lupin.

It was Mad-Eye Moody.

Although Charlotte knew Moody was one of the good guys, he couldn’t appear too calm.

After all, to everyone else, he was merely an eleven-year-old victim who had suffered horrific abuse at the hands of Dark Wizards.

So the instant Moody stepped into the room, Charlotte looked at him with terrified eyes and cried out in panic, “D-Don’t…

don’t kill me!”
