Tuoweisi accompanied Airui, while Ivan spent his time running errands to sell off the shop assets or taking Airui to the larva amusement park. It was a fulfilling and pleasant weekend.
On Monday, Airui left for school with great reluctance, and the villa fell quiet.
The Tuixiu family’s assets had been liquidated over the past two days, a strange move that prompted Ais to come investigating.
In the villa’s living room, Ais sat on the sofa, his eyes fixed on Ivan as he arranged flowers. “You do not look like someone who is struggling, so why on earth did you sell off all the family property?”
Ais suddenly paused, as if he had stumbled upon a great secret. “It could not be that Lotte turned traitor and sold everything behind your back, could it?”
Ivan stopped mid-cut, unable to bear the sight of Ais’s lack of intelligence. He sighed. “You are overthinking it. I simply have no heart for business and lack the skill to manage it well, so I had Lotte liquidate the assets. It is easier this way, and we can live more freely.”
Ivan placed the finished arrangement on the dining table and admired it.
Ais looked at him in disbelief. “How can you want to lie flat at such a young age?”
Ivan smiled. “I have enough to live comfortably for the rest of my life. Why should I struggle so hard?”
Ais was stumped, momentarily speechless. In the end, he left the villa empty-handed. However, just as he was stepping out, he happened to bump into Tuoweisi, who was returning. Ais abruptly halted his hurried pace, straightened his clothes, and puffed out his chest before continuing on his way.
Tuoweisi had not expected to run into Ais, but considering Ais’s relationship with Ivan and Ivan’s recent bold financial moves, he could guess why Ais had come.
It did not concern him, though. Since Ais was leaving, it meant Ivan had already said what needed to be said. He politely stepped aside, entering the villa from the other side without making any contact.
Ais saw Tuoweisi walk by without even glancing at him, as if he were invisible. His resentment deepened, and after vowing to himself never to visit this wretched villa again, he stomped away in a fury.
Tuoweisi did not care about Ais’s thoughts. Even if he knew, he would not mind; Ais was not wrong, as he truly did not care about him.
With Ais gone, Ivan found himself idle. Thinking of the violet jade Tuoweisi had given him, he retrieved it from the study, intending to grind and polish it into jewelry for sale.
Once they began mining in Pute Star, there would be no shortage of jade. Before that, he wanted to open an online shop to build a reputation for their jade jewelry.
Ivan got to work. Meanwhile, Lotte had already departed with the 2.4 billion stars to Pute Star to secure the mining area with Hubaiguo and to purchase property and storefronts for their future business.
Three days later, Ivan had fully utilized the violet jade.
After careful design and cutting, the jade had been transformed into a leaf pendant, two rings, and several pairs of small earrings. Before he could even price them on the Interstellar Network, the payment for the jade bracelet he had sold earlier was transferred to his account.
Seeing the substantial sum in his account, Ivan smiled. He called out to Tuoweisi, who was busy in his bedroom downstairs, “Tuoweisi, let us have something good for dinner today!”
Tuoweisi was puzzled, but he did as Ivan asked and ordered a lavish meal.
At the dinner table, Ivan hesitated before saying, “I am planning to move to Pute Star in a couple of days. Are you planning to come with me or stay here?”
Tuoweisi put down his chopsticks and asked, “If we go to Pute Star, what about Airui?”
He and Lotte were adults and could travel freely, but Airui was still a larva. Long-term space travel was not good for his health, and moving schools would be a logistical headache.
Ivan had considered all of this. “If you are willing to come with us, I will enroll Airui in a new school on Pute Star. Of course, if you prefer, you can stay here to look after him, and I will transfer this villa to your name.”
Tuoweisi stared into Ivan’s eyes, searching for any sign of deception. Finding none, he lowered his head, set aside his lingering doubts, and proposed, “Could Lotte stay behind to look after Airui while I accompany you to Pute Star?”
This was a carefully thought-out choice. His mental power needed soothing, meaning he could not stay away from Ivan for too long. Airui was not suited for long-distance travel, and he had just settled into his school on Hallye Star and made friends; Tuoweisi could not bear to put him in a strange environment again.
Furthermore, Airui was fond of Lotte, making him the perfect caretaker. Tuoweisi just was not sure if Ivan would agree. He gripped his hands, looking at Ivan, waiting for an answer.
Ivan had not expected this. He did not care much either way, but having Tuoweisi along would be helpful when they first arrived at Pute Star and were setting up shop. So, he did not immediately reject the idea, but since he had not asked Lotte, he did not commit. “Let us discuss it when Lotte returns. If he is willing, I have no objections.”
“Alright.” Tuoweisi smiled suddenly, trying to curry favor. “Thank you, Lord Male.”
Ivan realized that Tuoweisi could be quite pragmatic. Whenever he got what he wanted, he softened his voice to call him “Lord Male.” When he was displeased, he just used Ivan’s name or did not address him at all.
Ivan did not mind. He smiled and continued his meal.
Lotte returned that afternoon, exhausted from his travels. Everything on Pute Star was arranged, and they could leave any day. Lotte did not refuse Tuoweisi’s request, agreeing to stay behind on Hallye Star to care for Airui.
“Do not worry.”
On a beautiful morning, Ivan and Tuoweisi left the villa, heading toward the exciting and unknown planet of Pute Star.
At the same time, a post was fermenting on the Interstellar Network.
[Beautiful Male Zerg Loves Fiercely: The jade bracelet was worth every penny! My migraines are gone!]
Migraines were a common affliction among Zergs, essentially pain caused by long-term lack of soothing from a male. It could be said that ten out of ten Zergs suffered from it.
As one could imagine, this post caused an uproar, creating massive waves across the network.
[Is today April Fool’s Day?]
[Someone drag this delirious Zerg to a mining planet to work; he is clearly delirious.]
[This is not a joke to be made.]
[With the state of your mental health, you will never have a male in this lifetime.]
[You are so cruel, I love it!]
The network was filled with attacks against the user “Beautiful Male Zerg Loves Fiercely.” Because the user could not provide a shred of evidence, they were hounded off the network by angry netizens.
Of course, that was a story for another time, as the user was still busy arguing intensely with the ignorant Zergs online.
