The next morning, Nora couldn’t think of anything else.
The mysterious photo…
the old warehouse…
and Yeonho’s words, which seemed more tense than ever before.
After school ended, they met at the school gate.
Nora said:
“Are you sure we should go?”
Yeonho looked at her seriously.
“If the blue box is there, we might finally find some answers.”
She took a deep breath and then nodded.
They set off together toward the outskirts of the city.
The closer they got to the place, the fewer buildings there were, and the quieter the roads became.
And finally…
An old, abandoned building appeared before them.
The warehouse looked like it hadn’t been opened in years.
Nora stopped in front of the rusted door.
“This place is scary…” Enjoying the story? Read on at g.com.
Yeonho said:
“Stay close to me.”
He pushed the door open slowly.
It let out a sharp screech that filled the place.
The two of them entered carefully.
Dust covered the floor, and old boxes were scattered in every corner.
And suddenly…
Nora noticed something on the wall.
A small blue mark.
She walked over to it quickly.
“Yeonho…
look!”
He looked at her, and his eyes widened.
It was the same mark from the old photo her aunt had sent.
They followed the marks until they reached a small room at the very end of the warehouse.
And in the middle of the room…
And on top of it, a glowing blue symbol.
Nora felt her heart was about to jump out of her chest.
“Is…
is this it?”
Yeonho approached cautiously.
And just before he touched the box…
They heard footsteps behind them.
They froze in place.
Then a familiar voice came from the darkness:
“I knew you two would make it here.”
Nora’s eyes widened.
“Taeho?!”
Taeho stepped out from the shadows slowly.
And he was staring directly at the blue box.
