The man’s voice was unexpectedly deep and magnetic, combined with the sight of his perfectly V-shaped torso, He Luo couldn’t help but blush.
His voice was cold and emotionless, yet it somehow struck a chord in her heart, making it race.
“Oh, okay.” He Luo hurriedly dismissed the improper thoughts from her mind and stepped into the store.
The air conditioning inside made her shiver slightly.

One of the customers at the end of the line grew impatient and urged, “Are grapes being sold by the piece? Why is it taking so long to weigh some fruit?”
The cashier apologized repeatedly but became even more flustered.
The glass door was pushed open again, and a tall, slender figure walked in. The man put on his work uniform as he walked and handed over a document, saying calmly, “The goods have arrived. Go check them; I’ll take over here.”
