The giant throne stood thirty-three meters tall. Ten zhang, exactly.

Countless precious jewels studded its back. And behind it, the blurry shadow of a man floated in the air. Seriousness, majesty, and terror all spread out from him.

At the very top of the throne’s back sat a glowing red jewel shaped like a half moon. It looked like the sun gazing down at the earth.Full novel: Heavenly Asura God — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

But its glow was a deep orange. It looked like it carried ruin and terror with it.

At the height of the shadow’s chest, another jewel was set. A blazing golden-red diamond.

Every line carved into it seemed to show the man’s fierceness. Much of the diamond gave off a fierce light.

In front of the wide throne, on the left and right, two lions were carved. They were crouched low, but it looked like they might roar at any moment.

The whole back of the throne was covered with countless magnificent carvings.

The moment the throne appeared, a golden pillar of light crashed down on Corvin.

That light wrapped around them both completely. Leo vanished from sight.

And Corvin’s body grew ten times larger. Then, slowly, he sat down on the throne.

In Eldrin Town, nobody could move. Not the wolfmen, not the townspeople.

Everyone was frozen before this terrifying show of power. The townspeople were filled with awe. And in the wolfmen’s eyes, there was only despair.

A wolfman with golden-yellow fur looked far stronger than all the rest.

His voice shook.

"That’s... that’s the Throne of Ruin and Reckoning!"

The giant Corvin slowly sat upright on the throne. His cold gaze was enough to make anyone afraid.

The moment he sat, the golden-red diamond on the throne’s back suddenly moved to his chest.

And the whole sky began to turn golden red.

"**Verdict.**"

A cold word fell from Corvin’s lips.

Orange light burst from his back. It became a giant sword and floated in the sky above his head.

The golden wolfman gave up all hope in that instant.

He couldn’t even imagine how such a great power had appeared on the border of the Temple Alliance.

The wolfmen wanted to run. But now there was nowhere to run.

Countless red-orange beams rained down from the sky.

The closer they came, the bigger they grew. And they fell on every single wolfman.

No matter how hard they struggled, there was nothing they could do.

All the wolfmen vanished from this world in agony. Not even a trace of them remained.

The golden-red glow turned into a heavenly sight. The wolfmen were gone from the world.

The people of Eldrin Town came out of their shock and began to rise.

In that warm golden-red light, only a few people were standing. But the wounds on their bodies were closing at an astonishing speed.

The fires that had been burning were out too.

Only two things could not be brought back. The lives of those who had already been killed, and the buildings that had already been destroyed.

Golden light flashed. And Corvin, seated on the throne, was right in front of that same golden wolfman.

Humans saw the Demons of the Ashmaw Horde as the same as Magical Beasts.

This wolfman was a Demon of at least the fifth stage.

But in front of Corvin, he was like a tiny ant. He couldn’t use even a little strength.

And every other Demon had already been wiped out.

"Why did you attack the southern part of the Temple Alliance? What is your goal?"

Corvin’s cold voice carried suspicion.

The wolfman was still stubborn. Despair and helplessness showed clearly in his eyes.

Still, he didn’t answer.

After a few moments, he asked softly.

"This Throne of Ruin and Reckoning... could you be the Divine Knight, the Arbiter? Corvin Ashford?"

"You’ve guessed right." Corvin said quietly. "I am in charge of justice and judgment. Now answer my question."

The wolfman’s eyes turned fierce.

"So what if you’re a Divine Knight! The Demon Gods will arrive soon. Our great Demon Gods will avenge us."

"Even if I die, I won’t tell you anything!"

Corvin said coldly.

"Then go to the underworld."

With that, the wolfman vanished, and the golden light disappeared too.

Corvin still sat upon the Throne of Ruin and Reckoning. Worry showed on his face.

After a while, the golden glow faded. The throne turned into yellow stars and vanished.

The surviving people of Eldrin Town had fallen to their knees. They were looking at the golden light fading in the sky.

They didn’t know who Corvin was.

But in their eyes, that "justice," which had defeated every wolfman, was truly the work of a god.

Golden light flashed. And on top of Eldrin Mountain, two people suddenly appeared.

Corvin looked the same as before. Plain clothes, black hair blowing in the wind. This chapter is updated first at g.com.

After the golden light cleared, he had returned every person in the town to their old form.

Leo stood beside his father. But at that moment, not a single word came out of his mouth.

He had made hundreds of guesses about his father’s true strength.

But he never imagined his own father could show a power like a god’s.

What had just happened shook him to the core.

After two years of training, he had gained some confidence in his own strength.

But at this moment, he felt like nothing more than a speck of dust in front of his father.

Corvin gently patted his shoulder.

"Here, I’m only a husband and a father."

"An attack from the Demons?"

Elena was on top of the mountain too.

This spot wasn’t very close to Eldrin Town. But she could clearly see the Divine Throne Corvin had called forth.

Its glow could be seen even from Moonhaven City, fifty kilometers away, a hundred li.

Corvin’s brows drew together. He nodded slightly.

"This was only a scouting attack. No real Demon warriors showed themselves. It seems I’ll have to return to the Alliance earlier than planned."

Elena nodded gently and took Corvin’s large hand.

Leo was still trembling inside.

"Father, you... are you a Divine Knight?"

He worked up the courage to ask.

Corvin nodded.

"You must have heard it during the wolfmen’s attack. In the Knight Temple, I’m known as the Arbiter. The Holy Campaigns of the Temple Alliance are my duty."

Reverence filled Leo’s face.

"Father, what exactly is a Divine Throne?"

"And can I become as strong as you if I train?"

Corvin nodded seriously.

"You can, absolutely. I became a Divine Knight at forty-seven. That was even before I met your mother."

"Just keep giving it everything you have. I’m sure you’ll reach this stage even sooner than I did."

Leo clenched his fists.

But as Corvin turned to look down at the smoking town, a shadow crossed his face.

*A scouting raid,* he thought. *Next time, it won’t be scouts.*
