Hmmmm I thinks that’s it enjoy

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Opening my eyes has never felt this hard before.

On the contrary, it seems I can still move my arms easily, using them to pry my eyelids open.

Now staring up at an endless dark space, I start to wonder if I should close my eyes and try again.

I do just that, but I still see the same dark space in front of me.

Sitting up to look around for any clue of where I am, I notice in the distance a small flicker of light.

I almost thought I imagined it—until it flickered again.

Beginning to feel something compelling me to move closer to the only source of light, I get up and start walking toward it.

As I move closer, the light begins to slowly brighten and grow bigger.

Similarly, questions start filling my mind—where am I?

How did I get here?

Who am I?

Why am I?

When I finally reach the light, I can see it’s being emitted from a lantern placed on top of a nightstand.

Right next to said nightstand is a man with black hair, wearing a worn-out green trench coat, black dress pants, and a weird-looking helmet.

He’s sitting in a leather armchair, reading…

manga?

…What’s that?

“Ugh, enough with the questions already! My first visitor after I got to this boring place and you’re already losing your mind! Literally! Hmm, that’s not good.” The man sets down what he was reading—wait, is that the Manga 10th Anniversary Treasure Cru— and now he’s FLOATING out of his chair!?

“Geez, calm down, I can still hear you. Let me just see if I can fix that problem with your memory.”

A green light appears from his palm, and a vine shoots out, instantly attaching itself to my forehead.

“Hmm, I see… now let me just reverse the effect this place is having on your mind, and make it so you don’t start losing it again.”

Only a second passes before the vine detaches itself, disappearing into the light.

My entire life starts playing before my very eyes, making me fall to my knees, clenching my head in pain as an audible yell escapes my throat.

“That hurt!” is all I can say after finally calming down.

“That do be happening after basically reliving your whole life in a few seconds.” Taking a better look at the man, I can confidently say I don’t recognize him at all.

“Oh, that’s because I’m withholding that information. It’s classified.” 🤫

Giving him a deadpan stare, I get back up and look around with a new perspective.

I use my vast knowledge and intellect to reach the conclusion many scientists wouldn’t consider:

“So… I’m dead?”

“Yes. And you have an IQ of 140 with the knowledge of a university-level student. I wouldn’t exactly consider you smarter than scientists,” the man says, clearly amused by my thoughts.

…Mind reader.

“So, mister… what do I call you? The big G, or…?”

“No, no, no, please—I like to keep things simple and not attract anymore unwanted attention to myself.

Keeping things Low-key, if you will.” Landing back down onto the “floor,” he clasps his hands behind his back with a big smile, looking directly at me.

“Oookay… well, I guess this is the part where you tell me why I’m here. Or am I just going to be sent back to Earth as a baby with no memories for a second life?” I glance toward the nightstand, with the manga still sitting on it.

“Or maybe… something a little more?”

“Well, you’re certainly on the right track. But let me ask: do you not have any lingering feelings or desires about the life you once had?”

Listening to his words, I instinctively look back through my memories—thinking of all the fun I was just beginning to have, the strength and energy I felt from finally improving my body.

It would’ve been nice to at least accomplish those simple goals.

“Or maybe… anger toward someone you hate?”

My mood sours instantly as I think of those bastards—their smug faces, beating me down without a care in the world, all the way to my death.

“Wish I could’ve given those guys a proper beating before they killed me!”My anger and annoyance couldn’t be clearer from my tone.

“Well you’re in luck because up my sleeve, I have some power and a proposition that should pique your interest. Now… how familiar are you with My Hero Academia?”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Well, it’s been a few months since waking up thinking I might’ve just had a weird dream, but no—here I am with two small sets of arms and legs, as well as two pairs of eyes staring directly at me.

Currently I am about eight months old, from what I can tell.

My consciousness kept slipping in the beginning, but I’m basically in full control of this body now

My new life has been pretty good so far, with me now crawling around exploring my new “home,” with Denki Kaminari’s parents following close behind.

Yep, you heard (read) that right!

I’m now in the anime known as My Hero Academia (MHA), with Denki’s parents right behind me, and no “Denki” is not here.

Denki is now me

I’ve been reincarnated into the body of Denki Kaminari, a classmate of the protagonist of this story.

I was almost tricked and screwed over by whatever being or entity sent me here.

I mean, come on—how could you assume I’d willingly reincarnate into the body of Mineta?

I had to physically stop him from hitting the button with the words “launch and suffer” on it.

Luckily, he was willing to heed my plea and told me he would reincarnate me into the body of Denki.

When I asked why him, he just grumbled something under his breath about his brother and lame usage of power

Anyway, he said he would send me over with my consciousness intact, as well as some gifts and authority over electricity akin to that of gods!

Or so he claims.

In exchange, he asked that I provide a good source of entertainment and make it the end of the main plot.

Improving or destroying the story as I wished

No matter what I do, even if I followed the original to a T, he said he’d still call it a good experience and send me back to my original world with power and influence to do whatever I wanted—and get back at the idiots who killed me

Now, as I said before, I’m currently crawling around the house getting my daily cardio in, with the Kaminari parents following me.

You might ask why they’re both following me—other than making sure I’m safe or don’t hurt myself.

It’s actually quite simple

Coming to a stop, I firmly place my arms on the ground, unbend my knees, raise my tush proudly into the air, and finally push off the floor with my hands, landing squarely on my two feet

Having done this for the dozenth time now, I basically have it down to a science

“Honey, look! Denki’s going to try again—oh, I’m so excited!” Hikari, Denki’s mother, calls to her husband

“This time I’m sure our boy can do it! Let’s cheer him, dear—WOOHH HOO YEAH!!” Sei, Denki’s father, responds with even more energy than his wife

(Yes yes, cheer for me! My journey in this world has only begun, and I will transform this small body into something no other baby could dream of becoming! I will be the strongest baby in the entire world—HAHAHAHA!!!!)

“Ga gu pssst pplloo gu gu he he pshft”— …

cough cough

Ignore that.

I still haven’t gotten this damn mouth of mine under control.

Not a problem—it will only be a matter of time before I’m able to speak.

Now, to continue my “training” of getting stronger

I slowly lift up my right leg and move it forward just a few inches, planting it back down.

I do the same with my left and keep repeating until I’m basically walking now.

From behind, I can hear Hikari holding her breath in an effort not to distract me

Only about half a minute later do I get “tired” and fall back onto my butt

“YES! New record! He walked for a full ten seconds more than last time!” Sei shouts, smiling with pride

“Oh, my baby is growing up too fast! Why can’t you just stay cute and cuddly for Mommy?” Hikari says with mock sadness, though her smile is full of happiness for her son

I move my body to lay down on the floor and close my eyes to signal that I’m sleepy.

Luckily, Hikari notices.

She quickly picks me up and takes me to my own room, which I recently moved into.

A bunch of toys and pillows are scattered across my room for me to play with and mess around with

Laying me down, Hikari leaves the room and turns off the light so I can take a nap before dinner.

Once I hear the sound of the door closing, I open my eyes to continue with the next part of my plan

You see, ever since getting some control of my body, I’ve been trying to see if I can tap into the power that being gave me.

I know the power I have now can’t be a quirk, since no matter what type of ability a quirk may grant, it’s still within the realm of a quirk—drawbacks, limits, and all

The being said the power I have is an authority over electricity, like the gods.

To get power like that, you either have to be born with it or somebody had to have given it to you.

I have both— that entity gave it to me, and this body was born with it…

hopefully, since I haven’t felt it yet

Lifting my tiny hands, I try again to will any form of electricity to come out—but no matter how hard I try, nothing happens

(Why isn’t it working? Was my theory wrong? No… I’m sure that for power like that, my body would need to be perfectly suited for it—meaning the energy would already be there, growing and strengthening with me. Since I can’t just shoot lightning bolts or call down thunderstorms on a whim…)

…

Wait—if that power already exists inside me but isn’t responding to my command, then I should start by sensing it and observing it.

Kind of like natural energy in Naruto: if you can’t control it right away, you first learn to feel it, slowly gaining control over time.

I close my eyes, holding completely still and focusing on anything out of the ordinary.

I don’t know how much time passes—it could have been a minute, ten, thirty, or even a full hour—but eventually, I feel it.

A spark of energy skims through my chest

Pain and strength surge through the spot where the energy passes.

Focusing on it more closely, I suddenly slip into a way of “seeing” the electricity—similar to how the Byakugan reveals chakra pathways in Naruto

It’s like looking straight ahead with my right eye while looking from above with my left.

I follow the strand of energy as it shifts into an electrical current, splitting and branching throughout my body.

Everywhere it goes, it leaves a trail of sharp pain followed by an immediate burst of energ

I’m not sure whether I should be worried that the electricity is hurting me or more concerned that it somehow heals the pain it causes.

In that moment of confusion, I suddenly lose that eagle-eye perspective and feel as though I’m free-falling off a cliff.

I hit what I can only assume is a mental “floor,” stopping my fall.

Lifting my head, I find myself surrounded by what I can only describe as a tunnel-like, dark red space with pulsating veins running through it.

As I wonder why I’m here, I see a stream of lightning coming from farther down the tunnel, followed by floating orbs—some colored, some colorless—each carrying its own electrical current

When the scattered lightning strikes the walls and bounces off, I feel the familiar pain echo through my physical body.

Almost instantly, the floating orbs split apart and hurl themselves into the damaged areas, merging with them and repairing the walls.

At the same time, the pain fades away, replaced by a warm surge of renewed energy.

In that moment, I finally understand what’s happening: the pain comes from the lightning breaking down tiny parts of my body—while those orbs heal and reinforce them, making me even stronger!

It also seems the lightning is supercharging the orbs, boosting their effectiveness and allowing them to heal my wounds even faster

My body is basically tempering itself, slowly strengthening every part of me!

Almost immediately after this realization, my eyes snap open and a wave of heavy fatigue crashes over me

(Hmm… it seems this isn’t a passive ability—or at least not nearly as strong as when I’m actively using it.)

No matter.

As I grow older, I’ll gain better control over this power, and eventually I’ll be able to keep it active even while I’m sleeping—constantly strengthening my body

Yes…

my path to strength is set.

Soon, I will become the strongest lightning user this world has ever seen!

They won’t even see me when my lightning strikes—only hear my thunder, but by then it will be too late.

Now…

how should I change this story so that I take center stage?
