Ten years?

Had I summoned Kaori not just across space, but also time?

It gets worse than that though.Full novel: Highschool DxD: Wiki x Wank — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Opening up my laptop and searching on the internet, expecting to find an ancient missing persons report, perhaps tearful news interviews from her parents, we find nothing.

Kaori had never existed.

Her parents had never existed.

The high school she went to had never existed.

So either I’d created her whole cloth with false memories, or she was from some kind of parallel world?

She takes it surprisingly well.

“Really this just makes things simpler, we don’t have to explain anything this way,” she says, standing next to the computer I’m hunched over with a page of irrelevant search results in front of us, seeming perfectly at ease with both her small body and her state of undress.

“You’re really okay with this?” I can’t help but feel a bit of disbelief.

She’s been pulled out of her life to a brand new world, and then changed into a tiny fairy to boot?

If I was her I’d be absolutely freaking out.

“All my life I’ve been fascinated by magic,” she answers, turning to look at me.

“Communing with spirits.

Reading the future.

Dancing with the devil,” her lips turn up in a lazy smirk.

“It’s real, I’ve felt it.

But I’ve never been teleported to another place.

Never been able to fly.

I’m willing to make sacrifices for magic, and so that’s what this is.” With a flutter of her wings, she floats up off the table while my eyes track her movement through the air.

“So let us make a contract, Jiro Onano.

You are responsible for my state, and so you will provide for me, and keep me close so I can experience more of your magic.

And in return, I will use my magic to support you… and my body as well, whenever you need it.” She cups one of her breasts and squeezes it, her tiny fingers sinking into plush softness in a way I sadly wouldn’t be able to experience for myself.

Really wish I’d gotten to cop a feel before she turned into a fairy.

“Alright, you’ve got yourself a deal,” I say, solely out of a sense of moral responsibility and not because she’s a sexy fairy onahole.

Suddenly a blinding white light radiates from her, and even as I squint from it I feel… good.

Like, really good.

It’s hard to fully quantify, but I just feel really energetic and healthy – the most obvious thing being the nagging ache in my dick from having been put through so much use in quick succession first thing in the morning is gone.

The light fades and Kaori wears a self-satisfied smile as she bobs in the air.

“The contract is sealed.

I feel stronger, and you should as well, Jiro-kun.” “I do, kinda,” I agree, frowning in thought as I stand up.

I try and do a high kick, like I’d done last night after unlocking my kung fu skills.

This time it goes higher, above my head.

No twinge.

“Hell yeah,” I say, holding it up there, a picture of poise and balance.

“You’re surprisingly athletic despite how you look, Jiro-kun,” Kaori comments, drawing a frown.

Just because it’s true, you shouldn’t say it!

In any case, what with having a girl wake me up early, there’s still plenty of time to get to school even with all the distractions the morning has given.

Kaori comes with, wanting to be nearby in case my magic activates again, though it’s going to be a boring day for her hiding inside my bag.

Having a fairy flying around or sitting on my shoulder is just going to raise too many questions.

Also need to get clothes for her somehow.

For the moment she’s wearing a handkerchief like a toga, secured by her own hairtie.

Approaching the school I see Shitori hanging out by the gates like she does every morning.

And she’s staring at me.

She normally looks, just to give me some recognition, like I’m one of her subjects, and I’ll say hello without actually stopping to chat, but her scrutiny feels far more pointed than usual.

Can she tell?

Am I walking with a different stance, showing the confidence of a boy who’s become a man?

I mean okay, I’m still a virgin, but I went pretty fucking far with Kaori this morning!

Oh wait, she’s looking at my feet, she’s literally noticing how I’m walking differently because… well, because I’m walking differently.

With natural poise as if ready to kick or dodge or do something acrobatic and cool with my new kung fu skills at any moment.

Well it’s too late to stop now.

As I cross the gates I give her my customary nod and say, “Morning Shitori.” “Onano.” She says it differently.

Not merely recognising and dismissing me in three economical syllables.

No, there’s a note of command in her voice, bidding me to stop.

Which I do, halting and looking expectantly down at her.

“You look like you’ve experienced something strange,” she continues once she has my full attention, adjusting her glasses and looking at me with gleaming violet eyes.

Huh, same colour as Kaori, I can’t help but think as we awkwardly hold gazes.

“Uh, I mean, well, my club’s getting shut down,” I answer after a momentary floundering, wondering what she can tell and what she’s inferring, but not wanting to get into ‘magic is real and regulated by my erections’ with the serious-minded student council president.

Her eyes narrow and she lets out a very small sigh.

“I’m sorry about that, but we have no choice given the lack of other members.

Still, if you have any concerns about anything at all,” she puts a weird stress on those last words, “The student council’s doors are open.” “Um, okay?

Thanks?” I say, a bit discomfited to be receiving such consideration from a girl like her.

What’s her game?

Fortunately she doesn’t push further, merely nodding and turning to look back over the road approaching the school, and I gladly take the dismissal to head into the school itself.

There’s time before class, so I go to the anime club where I can let Kaori out of the bag, so to speak.

“That girl outside, she knows something,” she says with confidence as she climbs out of my leather satchel and lands barefoot on the desk, while I take out the dildo statue so I can leave it here for now as well.

“Souna Shitori, she’s the student council president.

I think she probably noticed I was moving differently because of my kung fu skills, but I don’t know why she’d care,” I answer, still glad I’m not the only one who felt there was something off about that encounter.

“We should have brought my tarot cards, I could have done a reading on her…” she frowns, looking up at me.

Fortunately when she’d arrived she’d had her purse with her, and apparently Kaori is the kind of girl who never leaves home without her divination implements.

But I hadn’t bothered taking them with us, my bag full enough between her and the statue, and it’s not like she can do a reading while cooped up in there.

“Can try after school,” I suggest.

“Actually I was planning on talking to the occult research club.

I’m just not sure exactly how much to say.

Maybe they might recognise this kind of statue, but showing them a real live fairy might be a bit much.” “It would be easier if I could talk to them, I can sniff out a poser or an amateur easily,” she declares with a haughty toss of her hair back over her shoulder.

“Well, I’ll try talking to Gremory about this and you can listen in, get a feel for how legit she is that way?” I suggest, picking up the statue.

Admittedly bringing this kind of thing to show the school’s top beauty is probably gonna get some kind of reaction, but what can you do?

“Gremory?” she repeats stiffly, her wings fluttering as she lifts off to float closer to my face, staring at me with a serious look.

“Uh, yeah.

Rias Gremory, she’s the president of the occult research club, and she’s in my class.

I think she’s European?” I venture, not sure what’s brought that reaction on.

It is an unusual name, I’d never heard it before meeting her.

“Gremory is the name of a Duke of Hell, one who speaks of hidden treasures and seduces maidens.

It’s a portentous name for one steeped in the occult,” she speaks like she’s giving a lecture.

Once again I’m briefly distracted by thoughts of Gremory and Himejima on the subject of maidens being seduced, but after a momentary sloppy smile at the thought I say, “Well that’s a good omen?

I think… I mean, if she’s connected to hell maybe that’s bad?” “I’m looking forward to meeting her to see if she can live up to that name,” Kaori says, lowering herself down to climb back into my bag, which I close up and head on to class with.

And immediately start getting dirty looks and hearing whispers from girls who see me carrying around what totally looks like a dildo.

Fuck.

But I’m no stranger to the scorn of the fairer sex, and besides I got to score with a hot girl today.

Even if Kaori says things like I’m a virgin or I’m out of shape, she still sucked my dick, so I’m coming out ahead!

Luckily once I reach the class, I can see Gremory’s already in her seat so I go straight over to her.

“Hey, Gremory-san, good morning.

Can I ask you a question, about the occult?” She turns to look at me, an expression of mild surprise no doubt at having me strike up a conversation with her, but she doesn’t seem displeased.

In fact even when she sees me holding a dildo statue she just looks interested, there’s no blushing or stammering like Shinra yesterday or the kind of shameful looks I was getting from everyone else in the hallways.

“Jiro-kun, good morning!” she shifts her seat around further towards me, “Of course, if you’ve had a mysterious encounter, that’s what the occult research club is for!

Does it have something to do with the object you’re holding?” I plant the statue down on her desk, and I can see we’re getting attention from her classmates.

Whispers of predictable shock and outrage that I’d dare besmirch Rias Gremory’s pure eyes with something so lewd.

I do my best to tune them out as I say, “Yeah, it’s this statue.

It just appeared.

Mysteriously,” I nod, doing my best to convey the eerie and otherworldly nature of its appearance.

“It looks kind of cute!” she is completely unbothered however, reaching over to pick it up, turning it around in her hands.

“But I’ve never seen one like this before…” Soft.

I feel it.

A soft and giving sensation of roundness pressing against my arm.

The smell of perfume, like cherry blossom, and a sinful voice right beside my ear.

“Ara, that’s a strange looking haniwa statue you’ve got there, Jiro-kun.” Reaching past me, Himejima’s fingers trace over the head of the statue, her touch far more… sensual, than how Gremory is simply holding it, reminding me of how Kaori was touching my dick in the shower earlier.

[8-13 Queen’s Blade Nanael An arrogant angel dropout, Nanael is nonetheless quite powerful and skilled.

She arrives fresh after being sent from Heaven to take part in the Queen’s Blade tournament.

Since the head angel isn’t actually around to punish her, she won’t suffer any consequences if she spills her holy milk.] A similar if perhaps smaller in scale squishy soft sensation manifests against my other arm and a ripple of surprise passes through the classroom, Gremory’s eyes jerking from the statue to the figure now attached to my side before her chair goes flying backwards as she surges to her feet.

I turn my head and see a cute girl looking back at me, short blue hair and sea green eyes.

She seems surprised and unguarded, before her expression turns into a scowl and she shoves me… which presses me harder against Himejima, who barely steps back before I feel her arm pulling at me to get me behind her, like she’s trying to get out of the line of fire.

“Hey you pig-faced monkey, don’t act so familiar with a pure and divine angel of Heaven!” the girl cries out, and with a bit of space I can take in more details, like the short-skirted white dress she’s wearing, the big padded gloves reaching up past her elbows, one reinforced with metal… and the two white-feathered wings sticking out her back, one much bigger than the other.

Was this me?

I was definitely feeling something from Himejima’s presence just now.

It was definitely me.

“Angel?

What are you doing here?!” Gremory demands in a tone that sounds utterly flabbergasted, yet weirdly… like she’s not shocked that an angel exists, just that one would show up in the middle of class.

“I think she’s become tired of life, President,” Himejima’s voice however sounds utterly cold, and rather than that sweet fragrant perfume I can smell a tang of ozone in the air around her.

“Ugh, human women,” the angel says dismissively, turning her nose up at them before she spreads her arms out.

“Rejoice, humans!” a beatific golden light shines down over her and Himejima’s body presses harder against me as she steps back from it with a hiss of discomfort, “You have been chosen by Heaven to witness the arrival of the great angel Nanael!” she casts her eyes over the classroom, her expression twisting once more as she looks over the majority of girls that make up most of class 3-A before she focuses on Shuichi Urashima, a guy that, yeah I can admit is pretty handsome.

Quiet studious type, but he’s tall, fine featured, totally got that bishonen energy.

Nanael clearly likes that energy because she points right at him and says, “You, come with me, and together we can begin bringing true order to this sinful and fallen world!

We will start in the bedroom, where I will teach you to serve me!” This angel does not seem very holy, but I’m not too proud to say that wouldn’t work on me.

Urashima however seems to be made of sterner stuff however as he says, “I’m not sure my girlfriend would like that, Miss.” My respect for him just jumped several notches, what a man.

“Girlfriend?

How sinful, I-” “That’s enough!” Gremory shouts over Nanael’s tirade with her hand slamming down on her desk, “I don’t know what you think you’re doing showing up here like this, but-” Nanael’s retort is even more cutting however, as with a wooosh and then a chunking noise of crunched wood and sheared metal, a sword just appears out of nowhere to scythe through Gremory’s desk.

“How dare you interrupt a-” Krak-a-thoom!

A shocking peal of thunder reverberates throughout the classroom, a blinding flash of light, the final word in this series of interruptions as I see Himejima with her hand extended out towards where Nanael had stood.

Actinic flashes of electricity still dance between her fingertips, a line of devastation stretching towards the now shattered windows overlooking the front of the school, desks overturned and floor and ceiling alike scorched.

Several students near the line now sporting almost comically frizzed out hair.

“Ara, this is going to be a mess to clean up,” she says, the mirth in her voice somewhat strained as her other hand cups her cheek.

I can only gulp at the display, proof to reassure Kaori that the occult research club are not in fact posers.

“It’s not over yet,” Gremory says, facing towards the window as indeed Nanael reappears, flying up on her mismatched wings, her dress reduced to shreds but otherwise seeming no worse for wear… no bra, and polka dot panties?

Unusual choice for an angel, but still… nice.

“You arrogant, stupid monkeys!” she yells, less concerned with the free show she’s giving everyone and more with getting revenge on the girl who just lightning blasted her.

“I’ll teach you to look down on Heaven!” That sword wrenches itself free of Gremory’s desk and slices up at Himejima’s chest, and jokes about large targets aside, she barely manages to turn away from it as the tip slices through her upper arm and shoulder.

The speed of it, the way it moves on its own, it’s so shocking and fast even with all my new kung fu skills and standing right next to her, I can’t actually do anything before Himejima lets out a cry of pain and tumbles back against me and all I can do is support her.

“Akeno!” Gremory’s voice comes out in a shriek, before a pair of skinny bat-like wings of pure black erupt from behind her back and a light-devouring purple aura begins to manifest around her, her hands cupping around a sphere of blackness that proves the president is just as versed in the occult as the vice president that I’m currently cradling in my arms next to Gremory’s sundered desk.

“Wait!

You’re not a monkey at all, you’re a demon!

That’s even worse!” Nanael yells her own outrage from where she floats in the air outside the classroom.

“Actually I’m a devil, and that’s something you really should have known before daring to appear in my town,” Gremory replies in a furious tone, before she launches that black ball of nothingness straight at Nanael in reply for her own attack.

However even I can tell it’s pretty slow, and she doesn’t have any trouble dodging it with a lithe juke in the air even as that animated sword returns to her side.

Just in time for her, as with a loud clang it intercepts the fist of a figure leaping up from the ground to attack her.

I see white hair and a petite build before she bounces off the sword and back down out of my field of view.

Was that… Koneko Toujo?

She’s only a first year and not really on my radar, but already I’ve heard people going gaga over how cute she is.

“Devils!

Ganging up on an angel!

Unforgivable!” Nanael keeps shouting up a storm out there, and even if she managed to block that surprise attack and avoid Gremory’s magic orb, the second lightning blast Himejima sends out from her good arm while picking herself up from where she’d been leaning against me manages to nail her.

Blasted further back in the air, her dress now more or less completely gone, she abruptly scrambles to grab a bottle that had been tied to her belt with sudden panic.

“That’s it!

If you want to fight we’ll do it properly in the Queen’s Blade tournament, but don’t think I’ll forget this!” she cries out, cupping the bottle between her fully exposed breasts before she pivots in the air and jets off away from the school grounds.

Gremory’s voice sounds bitter as she says, “Let her go,” her fists clenched tightly at her sides and the aura around her receding as she turns to look at me and Himejima… and then down at my bookbag with a surprised widening of her eyes.

I look down too and see the flap has been lifted so a tiny blonde head can peek out.

Clearly in a situation with devils and angels fighting, Kaori didn’t see much point hiding the existence of fairies.

Which turned out to be for the best, as being marked as familiar with the supernatural saved me from the hypnosis treatment the rest of the class got.

Turns out I’ve been living in a magical world hidden behind a masquerade this whole time!

And so despite having had a front row seat to a heaven or hell beatdown, the rest of class 3-A (and the few others who’d peeked in to watch after hearing the first explosion of thunder) will now continue on with their days blissfully ignorant that a world beyond the mundane exists.

While I get to skip class, now being hosted inside the decadent office of the occult research club.

It feels like a mansion’s parlour or something, not helped by the butler aura given off by Yuuto Kiba as he pours tea for everyone.

The first year Toujou is here as well, maintaining a good poker face as she stands behind the sofa Gremory’s sat on, a freshly bandaged up Himejima next to her.

Facing me on the other sofa, and Kaori who’s just now fluttering back over after having been studying the creepy looking magic circle on the floor that proves this really is an occult club and not a social one.

“Ahem,” picking up her teacup, Gremory doesn’t drink immediately, “Welcome to the occult research club, Jiro-kun.

I’m glad you thought of us after having had a supernatural encounter, so where should we start?” she asks, her tone friendly and pleasant.

I decide to take a drink, not even sparing a thought that it might have something in it if I’m dealing with devils.

And it’s… it’s nice tea.

Yummy.

I’m more of a soda drinker, but it’s still nice.

The act of drinking giving me a chance to gather my thoughts a little.

“I feel like I should be worried about the devil thing, but seeing how that angel just behaved I’m not sure preconceptions apply…” I start off to see if she’ll supply any context.

“Honestly she was acting more like a fallen angel, I’m amazed Heaven let someone like her run wild…” Rias starts, her brow furrowing before she’s interrupted.

“Nanael,” Kaori speaks up in a coldly officious tone.

“A member of the Principalities described in the Kabbalah.

Its number is fifty three, it rules over the high sciences, and influences men of religion, law, and learning.” Was that why she went after Urashima?

He gets pretty good grades… “You’re well informed, Saeki-san,” Gremory says, eyes on the fairy now.

“I’m a student of the occult.

I was interested when Jiro-kun told me about this club, and even more when I heard the name Gremory.

To think you would be an actual devil though… you’re not what I expected,” Kaori explains, meeting the devil’s gaze without flinching.

Gremory’s expression relaxes a little and she says, “You might be more familiar with my ancestor, I suppose.

So how did you and Jiro-kun come into contact?

I did feel there was something different about him yesterday…” trailing off thoughtfully she looks back at me with an expectant air.

Time to come clean.

“It started yesterday,” I admit.

“The first thing I noticed was the statue, it just appeared out of thin air in front of me when I was in the anime club.

Then Kaori-chan appeared this morning before school, and then there was Nanael.” “You think you caused Nanael’s appearance?” Gremory asks in surprise, and I can’t help but squirm a little in guilt at being responsible for such a troublemaker.

It doesn’t help that I can feel Kaori’s eyes on me, her gaze smug with the knowledge of what provokes things to be summoned around me.

“Yeah, um, it kind of…” fuck there’s just no way to say it in any way that doesn’t make me sound horrible is there?

“It happens when I get horny…” I can only mumble it out.

“Pffh!” Toujou’s poker face cracks and she puts a hand over her mouth, while Gremory blinks owlishly and turns to look over her shoulder at Himejima.

“Ara, I’m flattered Jiro-kun,” Himejima’s sultry voice makes me want to die, “But your love is quite painful.

I’ll try not to be so… stimulating, around you from now on.” Oh I want to die.

Why did I even come to school today?

“It’s not like I can help it.

It just… happens,” I say, cringing in my seat, admitting the shamefulness of my libido when surrounded by girls.

Kiba’s no help, he’s half turned away but I can see him fighting back laughter!

“It… it must be a new type of sacred gear!” Gremory declares in a strained voice, now taking a drink of her own tea.

“A very mysterious one, I don’t think I’ve heard of any with that kind of effect!” Kaori at least pounces on that, the occult fanatic clearly interested in getting some new lore, from which ensues an explanation of fantastical artifacts sealed into humans to grant them the power to rival supernatural factions, which leads into more of a lore dump about devils and angels, and apparently youkai are a thing too.

It’s all very interesting, but it’s also very… a lot.

Kaori soaks it right up, and from my point of view it’s at least dry enough to ensure that even surrounded by all these hot girls I don’t have my ‘sacred gear’ activate again.

It takes long enough that we’re having to break things up for lunch amidst an explanation of ‘rating games’ that sees us digging into luxurious lunchboxes that are a match for the ostentatious surroundings of the occult research club.

I can only wonder just what the hell Nanael is doing out there, though.
