These things were all guarantees of her future quality of life, and also her minimum safety net in case she didn’t manage to pull food from the loot boxes. Losing them would make life unimaginably difficult. Her luck had never been that great to begin with.

Seeing that her new vehicle was a four-wheeled school bus, Lu Yuelan finally relaxed slightly.
She did have a driver’s license, she had specifically gotten it so she could take her young nephew to school during her free time.
But if she remembered correctly, school buses counted as large passenger vehicles, which required an A1 license at minimum. What she had was only a C1 license. Could she even drive it?
According to traffic rules, red light means stop, green light means go, and yellow light means wait.
This didn’t seem like those post-apocalyptic novels where traffic laws could simply be ignored.

Lu Yuelan didn’t expect the various certificates she had casually thrown into her suitcase to be this useful. She had previously lamented in her heart that her hard-earned childcare instructor certificate had gone to waste after years of study.
Now, at least in this game, it had become a guaranteed job.
However, there was one important detail: the mileage driven while performing Childcare Instructor tasks did not count toward the day’s required five kilometers. She would still need to complete that separately.
But there was also an advantage, performing Childcare Instructor tasks did not consume fuel. Otherwise, her meager earnings wouldn’t even be enough to cover gas.
Right, fuel.
Thinking about it, Lu Yuelan suddenly realized there wasn’t a gas station anywhere nearby. If she ran out of fuel, where was she supposed to refuel? Once she thought of it, Lu Yuelan immediately acted, starting today’s Childcare Instructor task.
After she clicked start, the ordinary single-lane road in front of her transformed into a multi-lane highway inlaid with gold trim. It glittered so brightly it was almost blinding.
Lu Yuelan hurriedly rummaged through her suitcase in the back seat and found a pair of sunglasses. Only then did the glare become tolerable enough for her to drive normally.
It wasn’t until she actually set off that she understood what “no fuel consumption” really meant.
She had originally thought it meant something like the fuel tank being locked so it wouldn’t decrease, some kind of abnormal game mechanic.
But then a fixed gas station card suddenly appeared in her hand, telling her that things weren’t as bizarre as she had imagined. There was still some logic to it. “No fuel consumption” literally meant she didn’t have to pay money for fuel.

With this, she didn’t need to worry about running out of fuel. The only question was what currency was used here, surely it wouldn’t be resource coins, right?
