Hermione stared at the scene before her, her face filled with disbelief.
“This is… Transfiguration?”
Professor McGonagall had demonstrated this magic in front of her entire family.
But Professor McGonagall had clearly said that Transfiguration was complicated and required a long time to master.
So why could a boy around her age not only use it, but control it so skillfully?
Could Blake actually have been born into a wizarding family and simply been deliberately hiding his identity?
Hermione stared at him in shock.
“Ding! Detected an emotion of shock.”
“Ding! Drawing a chest for the host!”
“Ding! Congratulations, Host. You have obtained a Gold Chest!”
Blake, who had already taken control of the situation, immediately smiled when he heard the notification.
A Gold Chest!
This was the first time he had received a reward of this level since the system appeared.
And Hermione could provide a chest of such high quality.
If he encountered someone at Dumbledore’s level in the future, wouldn’t the rewards be even more outrageous?
At the thought of this, Blake’s heart was immediately filled with anticipation
The Hidebehind was still struggling desperately beneath the stone lion.
But the stone lion firmly pinned its body down, its sharp teeth still clamped around its neck without the slightest sign of loosening.
Fresh blood continuously poured from the wound, slowly flowing down the Hidebehind’s neck and onto the ground.
As it lost more and more blood, the intensity of its struggles gradually weakened.
Blake could already be certain that the Hidebehind wasn’t going to survive.
He gently exhaled, then turned around and extended his right hand toward Hermione.
Hermione was sitting on the ground, staring at him with a dazed expression.
After quite some time, she finally came to her senses. Follow the newest chapters on novelping.com.
Her cheeks flushed slightly as she took Blake’s hand.
Blake applied a little force and pulled her up from the ground.
Everything that had happened just now had been far too shocking for Hermione.
Whether it was the Hidebehind’s terrifying face or the series of Transfiguration spells Blake had cast, both had delivered an overwhelming visual shock.
Even now, her mind was still somewhat muddled.
Blake, meanwhile, discovered that he was unbelievably strong.
When he pulled Hermione up, he could barely feel any weight at all, as though he were holding a light, floating feather.
Blake somewhat worriedly squeezed his own arm.
He was only ten years old.
If anyone else saw the clearly defined muscles covering his body, it would look extremely strange no matter how they looked at it.
Fortunately, he soon discovered that as long as he didn’t deliberately exert himself, those exaggerated muscle lines would naturally recede, hidden beneath a normal physique.
“Just now… thank you for saving me.”
Once she had recovered her ability to think, Hermione spoke first.
“It was nothing.”
Blake gently shook his head.
Hermione was silent for a moment before she couldn’t help saying again:
“I really didn’t expect you to be a wizard too!”
“A wizard? What’s that?”
Blake put on a completely bewildered expression, pretending that he didn’t understand at all.
Seeing that he didn’t seem to be joking, Hermione could only explain from the beginning everything she had recently learned about magical society and what it meant to be a wizard.
“I see…”
To avoid arousing unnecessary suspicion, Blake continued pretending that this was his first time hearing about the wizarding world.
Just then, Hermione suddenly realized something.
She and this boy in front of her had gone through something so dangerous together, yet they still didn’t even know each other’s names.
“My name is Hermione, Hermione Granger.”
Hermione seriously introduced herself.
Blake smiled.
Of course, he had known Hermione’s identity for a long time.
Then he pulled the name tag that had always hung around his neck from beneath his collar and showed the writing on it to Hermione.
“My name is Blake, Blake Grin.”
“This name was taken from what was written on the tag.”
Hermione curiously leaned closer for a look, then showed a puzzled expression.
“Is your surname an abbreviation of Grindel?”
“What do you mean? Of course not.”
Blake froze for a moment.
Hermione pointed at the name tag in his hand.
“But it clearly says ‘Grindelwald’ on it.”
“What did you say?!”
Blake’s expression changed.
He immediately lowered his head and examined the name tag.
With just one glance, he was completely stunned.
The part that had originally been missing from the tag had somehow been fully restored.
