King’s Cross Station.

Will spotted the pillar between Platform Nine and Platform Ten at a glance; this was the entrance to Platform Nine and Three-Quarters.

spells had been cast upon the pillar, and Will easily detected the flow of magic on it, not to mention the Wizards carrying magic within the surrounding crowd.Full novel: Hogwarts: From a Wizard to a God — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Will grabbed his trunk and plunged straight into the pillar.

Just as described in the original work, amidst the steam of the locomotive, the station was noisy and crowded, bustling with Wizards carrying flowing magic who shouted loudly.

The commotion of the steam train, the disorderly noise of the crowd, and the chasing and howling of animals—all these noises mixed together, making Will somewhat displeased—he liked quietness.

Will walked through the crowd and saw quite a few people: a round-faced boy following behind an old woman; a group of red-haired Wizard families; a girl with bushy hair and slightly large front teeth; and of course, that scrawny The Boy Who Lived wearing black-rimmed glasses—Harry Potter.

Will passed by them, went straight onto the train, and finally found an empty compartment in the noisy train.

He smiled with satisfaction, sat in the window seat, placed his suitcase on the side seat, found a book from the box, placed it on the table, and began to read it with relish.

This book was called “Secrets of Curses — The Life of a Curse-Breaker”, which was written by a Curse-Breaker who graduated from Hogwarts, recording what he saw and heard during his fifteen years working as a Curse-Breaker in Egypt, as well as his understanding of curses.

He didn’t want Professor to discover that he had been exposed to the Dark Arts so early, so he didn’t bring any Dark Arts books at all, and books of this curse category could already be considered “borderline books”.

“The curses in Egypt are too numerous to mention. Now everyone generally believes that this is caused by the eccentric habits of Egyptian Pharaohs and their mixed beliefs. You know, Egypt has four Sun Gods alone. Those Pharaohs covered their corpses with all kinds of curses, and all Wizards were unwilling to deal with those mummies; but the funny thing was that some Pharaohs only targeted Wizards, but forgot to cast curses against Muggles. Later, their corpses were stolen by Muggles and even circulated as a [rare ingredient] in the upper class of European Muggles.”

Amidst the turning of pages and the increase of experience, the door of the compartment was suddenly pushed open.

The person who entered was a young girl; the leather suitcase she was carrying was the same style as Will’s, obviously purchased at the same shop.

Her slightly slender and exquisite oval face was cold and aloof, and her dark blue skirt made her skin even fairer.

Overall, she was very pretty.

“Is anyone sitting here? I couldn’t find any other compartments.” Her speech was also cold and aloof.

Will glanced at the girl, his voice indifferent: “Feel free.”

Then he turned his attention back to the book in his hand.

Could a girl be more attractive than interesting curses?

Could she be more attractive than experience points?

The girl didn’t seem to care about Will’s attitude, put down her luggage, and sat opposite Will.

The atmosphere inside the carriage was cold.

The two people sitting opposite each other didn’t say a word.

Will just read his book on his own, completely ignoring the girl opposite.

In this weird atmosphere, the train started moving and left the station.

Thus, this atmosphere was quickly broken.

The door of the compartment was pushed open again.

It was a boy and a girl, two children.

The girl had bushy brown hair, a pair of somewhat prominent front teeth, and freckles on her face, making her look not very attractive.

The boy was slightly chubby, and half of his body was actually hiding behind the girl, giving a cowardly feeling.

Hermione Granger and Neville Longbottom.

“Can we come in? The other carriages are almost full, and we don’t have much luggage.” The girl panted, obviously because the suitcase was a bit heavy.

Only then did Will raise his head and glance over here.

This glance, however, made Hermione cry out in surprise.

“Will Behrens! Why are you here, uh, I mean, so you are also a Wizard?”

She couldn’t help but be surprised.

Will was her primary school classmate, and his grades always outperformed hers.

Hermione thought that she wouldn’t see him anymore after being admitted to Hogwarts, but she didn’t expect to still run into Will here.

“Hello, Miss Granger.” Will looked at the girl opposite, “I have no objection to you coming in, I just don’t know this young lady’s opinion.”

“Please feel free.” The girl opposite was a bit aloof, but her eyes were looking up and down at Will, seemingly very curious about him.

Will noticed the girl’s gaze and looked back; the girl’s gaze immediately turned to Neville, seemingly wondering why he was hiding behind the girl.

Hermione picked up the heavy suitcase, wanting to put it away, but it seemed hard to lift this heavy suitcase onto the luggage rack.

Seeing her panting heavily and lifting the suitcase with difficulty, Will pulled out his wand and waved it.

The suitcase floated up as if it had self-awareness and automatically lay down on the luggage rack of the compartment; Neville’s suitcase was along with it.

At this, all three Young Wizards looked at Will in surprise.

“You have already learned magic? I mean, I also experimented with a few simple spells at home, and they all had some effects, like Lumos and the like, and of course there were failures; but how did you do it, you didn’t even speak to cast a spell?” Hermione’s words were like a rapid-fire cannon.

It wasn’t the first day Will had known her, and he knew her fiery temper.

Her gaze shifted to the book in Will’s hand: “Are you reading? ‘Among the curses of Egypt, the most terrifying is the curse of Tutankhamun…’ Why don’t I remember this part? I mean I have already memorized all this year’s textbooks. Isn’t this book not what we are going to learn this year?” Hermione didn’t give anyone a chance to reply at all, giving Will a bit of a headache.

This was very Hermione.

And when the girl in the dark blue skirt heard that Hermione had memorized all the textbooks, she couldn’t help looking at Hermione with some surprise; Neville’s jaw dropped in shock.

You must know that he was a forgetful child, and he didn’t dare to imagine how hard it would be to memorize all the textbooks.

“It’s very simple, recite silently; this book is a Curseology book, available at Flourish and Blotts.” Will said calmly, then lowered his head to focus on the book in his hand, quickly immersing himself in it.

It seemed that the three people in front of him had no attraction to him at all.

“This is not simple. Non-verbal casting is an advanced spellcasting technique. You must know that many adult Wizards who graduated from Hogwarts cannot do this.” The girl sitting opposite Will spoke up.

At this time, she seemed to have developed an interest in Will again, staring at Will with a pair of bright eyes, but seeing that Will was already lost in the book, her eyes appeared somewhat displeased.

“Behrens…” The girl seemed very interested in Will’s surname.

“I’ve never heard of this Wizard family. Has anyone of you heard of it?” She was obviously from a Pure-blood families.

Neville, who had just sat down next to Will, scratched his head and thought about it.

Finally, his tone carried uncertainty: “I don’t remember Grandma telling me about this family. It seems, indeed not, right?”

“So, you two are children of Wizard families?” Hermione interrupted and asked.

“Yes, my family are all Wizards. You can call me Neville, Neville Longbottom.” Neville sat down next to Will, deliberately keeping a distance from Will so as not to disturb him from continuing to read.

The girl nodded: “I come from the Lestrange Family, you can call me Sylvia; you haven’t talked about your situation yet.”

Hermione only then realized that she hadn’t introduced herself yet, but compared to just now, her momentum was somewhat insufficient: “I’m Hermione Granger, my parents are what you call ‘Muggles’. No one in my family understands magic, so my family was extremely shocked after receiving the Hogwarts letter. Since you are all children of Wizard families, you must have mastered a lot of magic?”

Her tone was somewhat dejected.

“Actually…

I don’t know a single magic spell.

Grandma simply won’t let me mess around with wands.” Neville’s face turned red, and he looked like he was about to cry, “I must be the worst student in Hogwarts.”

“Oh…” Hermione suddenly felt a little happy, though she didn’t show it: “But we can study together.”

“You don’t need to worry about anything.

In fact, most Young Wizards don’t know a single magic spell before heading to Hogwarts.” Sylvia explained: “Almost all Young Wizards bought their wands this summer, and before having a wand, they probably haven’t learned magic at all.”

Sylvia turned her head to look at Hermione, not minding her background: “You should be one of the few witch among the freshmen who have already learned spells. Your progress is far ahead; moreover, you seem to know Mr. Behrens.”

“He is my primary school classmate. Before today, I didn’t know he was also a Wizard.” Hermione gained more and more confidence; at the same time, she noticed that this Sylvia seemed very interested in Will, but looking at Will again, he was just staring at the book in his hand.

She had a strong sense of déjà vu about this scene.

Back in primary school, those girls always liked to surround Will, but unfortunately, Will never paid attention to them.

And this guy Will, as long as he started reading, would ignore the surrounding situation, acting even more like a bookworm than her.

She didn’t know what was so good about this guy.

Hermione was very curious now about how Will’s magic was learned, but looking at Will’s appearance, he didn’t seem to want to deal with a few people at all, so she could only wait for him to finish reading.
