Time passed quickly at Hogwarts.

Before anyone realized it, the second week of school had already arrived.

After spending an entire week adjusting to castle life, most of the first-year students had finally adapted to their new environment.Full novel: Hogwarts: White Demon King — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

The moving staircases no longer caused panic every morning.

Students had learned which corridors to avoid during class changes.

And many young wizards had even started behaving like proper Hogwarts students— Which naturally meant sneaking out at night.

Unfortunately for them, nighttime wandering at Hogwarts required skill.

And most first years possessed absolutely none.

Without advanced spells like the Disillusionment Charm or enough knowledge of Hogwarts’ secret passages, avoiding Argus Filch was nearly impossible.

As a result, students were being dragged to Filch’s punishment room almost every single night.

Some lost house points.

Others spent hours polishing armor or scrubbing trophies.

A few unlucky Gryffindors had apparently spent an entire evening cleaning owl droppings by hand.

Compared to the miserable lives of those reckless first years, Adam appeared extremely ordinary on the surface.

He attended classes normally.

Read books in the library.

Practiced swordsmanship every morning.

And occasionally helped classmates with assignments.

However, behind that calm appearance— Adam had already begun executing a carefully planned strategy.

And Monday’s Charms class marked the official start of it.

Inside the Charms classroom, feathers floated—or more accurately, failed to float—everywhere.

“Wingardium Leviosa!” “Wingardium Leviosa!” “Wingardium Leviosaaaa!” The classroom echoed with wildly different pronunciations.

Some students swung their wands too hard.

Others forgot the wand movement entirely.

A few looked seconds away from crying in frustration.

At the front of the room, Filius Flitwick stood atop his familiar stack of books while observing the chaos happily.

During the previous week, Professor Flitwick had already explained the theory behind the Levitation Charm thoroughly.

Starting from this lesson onward, practical application became the main focus.

Unfortunately— Even after a week of practice, Adam remained the only first-year student capable of casting the spell successfully.

Not even Hermione Granger had fully mastered it yet.

At best, her feather occasionally twitched or tilted upward slightly before falling flat again.

Meanwhile, Adam walked calmly through the classroom like a miniature assistant professor.

“You’re pronouncing the incantation too quickly,” he told one student.

“But your wand movement is too slow.” The student blinked before trying again immediately.

To another student, Adam sighed helplessly.

“It’s swish and flick.” “You reversed the motions completely.” Nearby, one Hufflepuff student continued shouting the spell incorrectly.

“Levio-SA!” Adam stopped beside him instantly.

“The emphasis is wrong,” he corrected patiently.

“It’s Levi-O-sa.” “The stress belongs in the middle.” One by one, Adam corrected mistakes throughout the classroom.

And each time a student improved— System notifications appeared rapidly inside his mind.

You have taught xxxx and provided meaningful insight.

Reward: 10 Points.

The notifications appeared so frequently that Adam almost wanted to laugh.

Finally.

After eleven years— His system was finally becoming useful.

The Mentor System required him to teach others in order to gain points and rewards.

Unfortunately, before arriving at Hogwarts, Adam had very few opportunities to do that.

The people he interacted with most were Lance and Ecter.

And those two House-elves were already more skilled in magic than he was.

Teaching them was impossible.

As a result, from the moment he obtained the system until entering Hogwarts, Adam had accumulated only six hundred points total.

Just enough for six draws.

Even earning those points had been painful.

During previous visits to Diagon Alley, Adam had occasionally attempted teaching random young wizards.

Unfortunately, most people simply looked at him as though he were mentally unstable.

Clearly, nobody appreciated receiving magical lectures from a five-year-old child.

After arriving at Hogwarts, however— Everything changed.

Still, Adam didn’t immediately rush to farm points.

Instead, he spent his first week establishing something much more important.

A persona.

More specifically— The image of a genius Ravenclaw student.

A brilliant young wizard far beyond his peers.

Talented in every subject.

Polite.

Reliable.

Helpful.

And after one full week of classes, that image had already stabilized successfully.

Teachers praised him constantly.

Students admired him.

Even older years had begun recognizing his name.

Now— He could begin the second stage of his plan.

Strengthening that genius persona further while adding another important trait: Helpful mentor.

A prodigy willing to assist weaker students instead of looking down on them.

That was why Adam had spoken privately with Professor Flitwick before class today.

He claimed he wished to review and reinforce his own understanding of charms by helping classmates practice.

Professor Flitwick had happily agreed almost immediately.

As a result— Today’s class had become extremely unusual.

Professor Flitwick himself now resembled little more than a cheerful mascot supervising from the front of the room.

Meanwhile, Adam handled most of the actual teaching.

“Wingardium Leviosa…” Hermione attempted the spell once more.

This time, the feather finally tilted upward noticeably.

But after barely rising— Plop.

It fell back onto the desk again.

Although she still hadn’t achieved proper levitation, the improvement was obvious.

“Good progress,” Adam praised while walking past her desk.

Hermione immediately looked up.

“Really?” “Yes.” Adam nodded calmly.

“Your pronunciation is already excellent.” “The problem is your magical output and wrist stability.” Hermione blinked.

“My wrist?” Adam pointed toward her wand hand.

“It shakes slightly during the flicking motion.” “Because of that, your magic flow becomes unstable.” Hermione immediately stared at her hand thoughtfully.

Now that Adam mentioned it— She realized he was correct.

Her wrist had trembled slightly during casting.

“I understand.” Hermione adjusted her grip carefully before attempting the spell again.

“Wingardium Leviosa!” This time, the feather rose slightly higher than before.

Hermione’s eyes brightened instantly.

“It worked better!” Inside Adam’s mind, another notification appeared immediately.

You have taught Hermione Granger and provided meaningful insight.

Reward: 20 Points.

Adam paused thoughtfully.

Again?

Teaching Hermione always rewarded double the normal amount.

The previous time he guided her with the Unlocking Charm had produced the same result.

Meanwhile, ordinary students only granted ten points.

‘Interesting…’ Adam narrowed his eyes slightly.

Was it because Hermione was one of the story’s main characters?

Or perhaps her natural magical talent created higher-quality “insight” rewards?

Either way— Hermione clearly possessed unusually high value for his system.

Just as Adam continued thinking— BOOM!

A loud explosion suddenly shook the classroom.

Several students screamed.

Smoke filled one corner of the room instantly.

Adam turned toward the source.

There, sitting beside Harry Potter, was a completely blackened boy with smoking hair standing upright like burnt grass.

His face was covered in soot.

The feather on his desk had entirely vanished.

Reduced to ash.

Adam stared silently for two seconds.

Then realization struck immediately.

Seamus Finnigan.

The legendary Hogwarts demolition expert.

As expected of him.

Professor Flitwick nearly fell off his books in shock.

“Oh my!” “Mr.

Finnigan!” “Are you alright?” The tiny professor looked genuinely horrified.

“In all my years teaching the Levitation Charm,” he exclaimed, “I have never witnessed it explode before!” Even Flitwick sounded impressed.

He had seen many magical accidents over the years.

Miscast spells.

Flying objects.

Uncontrolled levitation.

But explosive levitation?

That was apparently new.

Seamus rubbed his smoking face awkwardly.

“I’m okay, Professor.” Thankfully, despite his terrible appearance, he wasn’t injured.

Meanwhile, the Gryffindor students looked surprisingly calm.

Clearly, this wasn’t their first time witnessing Seamus accidentally create explosions.

Over the previous week, similar incidents had apparently happened multiple times already.

The students from the other houses, however, looked stunned.

Several Ravenclaws stared at Seamus like he was some kind of magical phenomenon.

One Hufflepuff whispered weakly, “How does someone even explode a feather?” No one had an answer.

Adam, meanwhile, calmly walked toward Seamus’s desk.

Then, from the teacher’s desk nearby, he picked up another feather.

“Mr.

Finnigan,” Adam said seriously.

Seamus looked nervous immediately.

“Yes?” “Could you cast the spell again?” The entire classroom froze.

Seamus himself looked horrified.

“But…” His face twitched anxiously.

“What if it explodes again?” Honestly— That was exactly what everyone else was wondering too.

Give me more motivation!
