The bedroom door handle turned ever so slightly.
A head peeked through the gap, followed by an entire person slipping silently into the room.
Li Yedao was still fast asleep in bed, completely unaware of the danger drawing closer.
“Eat a peach.”
A calm voice sounded beside his ear.
A moment later, someone’s weight pressed down on him.
Judging by the sensation, it was a pair of long, shapely legs straddling him through the blanket.
The usual morning routine.

Right on schedule, Acheron had appeared in his room with that lightning-infused peach of hers.
And she would not leave until he ate it.
Back when he still had work, he got up early anyway, so eating one wasn’t a big deal.

He had resigned!
He was going to sleep until he woke up naturally!

let me sleep.”

He collapsed back onto the bed and pulled the blanket over his head.

She slowly stood up and walked toward the door.

When Acheron reached the doorway, she stopped and glanced back at him.
“See you next time.”
“There’s going to be a next time?!”
Li Yedao felt his entire worldview collapsing.
He had no idea whether the “next time” she meant was the same “next time” he was imagining.
But starting today, he was strengthening the defenses around his room.
Acheron’s footsteps gradually disappeared down the hallway.
Li Yedao jumped out of bed barefoot, shut the door, locked it, and even dragged a chair over to wedge against it.

He rolled around on the bed several times before burying his face in the pillow and groaning miserably.

“Aren’t you going to invite me in?”
“I understand.”
Acheron nodded.
Then she grabbed Li Yedao by the wrist and yanked him directly into the room.

Li Yedao stumbled twice before regaining his balance.
He decided not to argue about the entry method for now.
Clearing his throat, he straightened his collar and put on a serious expression.
“Acheron, I’m going to teach you some basic common sense.”
Acheron continued staring quietly at him without blinking.
“I noticed three problems with what you did earlier.”
Li Yedao raised one finger.
“First, how can you enter someone else’s room without permission?”
“What if I wasn’t wearing clothes?”
“What if I happened to be doing something I didn’t want anyone else to see?”
Acheron frowned slightly.
Her expression suggested that she vaguely understood…
perhaps.
Li Yedao gave her no time to think before raising a second finger.
“Second.”
“If you want me to eat a peach, then just give me the peach.”
“Why did you have to feed it to me with your mouth?”
“And why did you have to pry my mouth open?!”

Acheron tried to speak.
