“Mon3tr, where is Kal’tsit?” Himeko asked softly, her eyes searching the carriage for that familiar figure.

Mon3tr turned her head, her black hair swaying gently with the movement: “Oh, Dr. Kal’tsit? She is organizing supplies in the logistics department of the Astral Express.”

Noting Himeko’s slightly eager expression, a trace of curiosity flashed through her emerald-green eyes: “What’s wrong? Is there an emergency?”Full novel: Honkai: Star Rail: Kal’tsit, the Astral Express Doctor — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Himeko nodded, her red hair casting a warm glow under the lights: “It’s good you’re here with me. Two new passengers have arrived on the Astral Express, and once we find Kal’tsit, we’ll go meet them together.”

Just then, Kal’tsit walked over from the corridor corner, her silver-white short hair neat and sharp, with not a single wrinkle on her white lab coat.

She held several documents in her arms, her pale green eyes revealing a hint of fatigue, yet she still maintained a professional posture.

“Kal’tsit, you’re just in time.”

Himeko stepped forward to greet her, “Let’s go meet the new passengers on the Astral Express together.”

Kal’tsit nodded slightly, her gaze sweeping over the two: “Alright, let’s go.”

Her voice was calm and steady, as if the busyness in the logistics department just moments ago had never happened.

Mon3tr hurriedly swallowed the egg yolk pastry in her mouth, responding vaguely: “Th… then l… let’s go.”

She trotted to catch up with the two, her black hair still stained with a few breadcrumbs.

Walking into the Observation Car, Kal’tsit’s gaze was immediately drawn to the two strangers on the sofa.

The brown-haired man gave a sense of stability and reliability, while that blonde man…

Kal’tsit’s cat ears twitched imperceptibly.

She instinctively felt a dangerous aura, just like facing those skilled, disguised politicians.

“Hello everyone, I am Welt Yang, it is an honor to join the Astral Express.”

The brown-haired man stood up and politely introduced himself.

His voice was gentle and sincere, reminding Kal’tsit of those reliable operators on Rhodes Island.

The blonde man glanced casually at Welt, then broke into an overly brilliant smile: “Three beautiful ladies, you may call me Void Archives.”

His gaze swept over the three of them, finally lingering on Kal’tsit, a flash of elusive light shimmering in his eyes.

Himeko nodded politely: “Hello, Mr. Welt, and Mr. Void Archives. My name is Himeko.”

Void Archives shifted his gaze to the other two, a meaningful smile hanging on the corner of his lips: “And who are these two beautiful ladies?”

Kal’tsit quietly stuffed the physical examination report in her hand back into her pocket, her voice calm and aloof: “Kal’tsit, medical personnel on the Astral Express.”

Her intuition was warning her to stay vigilant.

Her emerald-green eyes carried curiosity, but even more so, a sense of protectiveness toward Kal’tsit.

“A Remembrance spirit?” Void Archives and Welt simultaneously showed expressions of surprise.

Welt pushed up his glasses, the gaze behind the lenses turning sharp: “Is that so? Truly fascinating.”

Mon3tr explained: “It’s pretty much equivalent to a summoned entity.”

She noticed that Welt didn’t seem entirely satisfied with this explanation, but he didn’t ask any further.

Welt adjusted his tie: “We are new here and don’t know much about this universe. I wonder if the two of you could answer our questions and clear up our doubts?”

Himeko was just about to open her mouth to agree when Kal’tsit suddenly reached out and pressed down on her shoulder.

This subtle action made Mon3tr immediately alert—the doctor rarely interrupted others like this.

“Mr. Welt, Mr. Void Archives.”

Kal’tsit’s voice remained calm, but Mon3tr could sense the implicit wariness within it, “If you want to understand matters concerning this universe, you can go to the Archives in the first carriage of the Astral Express.”

“It records many strange tales and anecdotes in the universe.”

She nodded slightly, “We have other matters to attend to; you two go ahead and chat.”

With that, Kal’tsit briskly left the Observation Car, taking along a bewildered Himeko and a pensive Mon3tr.

Until they had walked a long way, Mon3tr whispered: “Doctor, is there something wrong with those two people?”

Kal’tsit’s cat ears twitched gently: “That Welt… is not simple. As for Void Archives…”

Her voice lowered, “It’s best not to have too much contact.”

Mon3tr nodded, a trace of worry flashing through her emerald-green eyes.

She quietly glanced back in the direction of the Observation Car, vaguely sensing that this encounter might bring unexpected ripples to their peaceful life on the Astral Express…

Kal’tsit leaned against the wall of the infirmary, her silver-white hair casting a cold gleam under the lights.

“Mhm… so that’s how it is.”

She murmured softly, a flash of understanding passing through her pale green eyes, “Stargate exploration, a person far from home.”

“Even among the elite operators of Rhodes Island, those who can compare to him are few and far between.” The source of this chapter is g.com.

She carefully perused the fused memory in her mind, gradually piecing together Welt Yang’s past.

Upon learning the origins of Void Archives, Kal’tsit’s cat ears twitched unconsciously: “A creation of the Previous Era… but having spent too much time with that Otto, even his personality has been dyed in his colors.”

Having sorted out her thoughts, Kal’tsit walked straight toward the Observation Car.

Welt was alone, gazing abstractly at the starry sky outside the window, while Void Archives was intently constructing a delicate robot.

“Mr. Welt, please come with me for a moment.”

Kal’tsit’s voice was calm and firm.

Although puzzled, Welt still politely followed along.

After entering the infirmary, he spoke first: “Ms. Kaltsit, I wonder what business you have with me?”

“Anti-Entropy Sovereign Welt Joyce, am I correct?”

Kal’tsit asked straight to the point.

Welt’s heart sank abruptly, his grip on his cane tightening unconsciously.

Kal’tsit merely glanced at him indifferently: “Mr. Welt, do you think that’Star Ocean Symphony’ in your hand, which can only release small black holes, can harm an Emanator?”

As soon as her voice fell, Welt suddenly felt an invisible pressure envelop his entire body, as if even breathing had become difficult.

Just as he was about to collapse under the strain, the pressure abruptly dissipated.

Welt let out a long breath, fine beads of sweat already seeping from his forehead.

He shook his head with a bitter smile: “It seems you know far more about me than I imagined.”

Kal’tsit walked over to the medicine cabinet, her back to Welt: “No need to be nervous. In a certain observation, I just happened to see that ‘leaf’ of yours.”

Her voice softened, “Since you chose to board this Astral Express, enjoy this journey well.”

Welt was slightly startled, then nodded knowingly.

Since the other party knew his background and possessed the strength to easily suppress him, if she truly harbored malice, she wouldn’t need to waste words at all.

In short—this seemingly aloof doctor was a trustworthy companion.

“Thank you,” Welt said sincerely, his grip on the cane relaxing at some point.

Kal’tsit took a box of medicine from the medicine cabinet and handed it to him: “One pill daily, it helps adapt to interstellar radiation.”

She paused, then added, “Welcome aboard the Astral Express, Mr. Welt.”
