Welt took the medicine, the gaze behind his lenses softening significantly: “Thank you for your care, Dr.

Kal’tsit.” He carefully placed the medicine box into his inner pocket, “Speaking of which, how much do you know about Anti-Entropy?”

Kal’tsit walked over to the desk, her fingers gently tapping the tabletop: “Enough, but also not much.” She raised her pale green eyes, “I know your mission to fight Honkai, and I know you come from another leaf. That is enough.”Full novel: Honkai: Star Rail: Kal’tsit, the Astral Express Doctor — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Welt showed a relieved smile: “You are more… open-minded than I imagined.”

“I am simply well-traveled and experienced.” Kal’tsit’s cat ears twitched slightly, “In this sea of stars, travelers from other worlds are not uncommon.”

Just then, the door to the medical room was gently pushed open.

Mon3tr poked half her head in: “Doctor, Miss Himeko says dinner is ready…” Her gaze shifted between the two of them, “Did I interrupt you two?”

“No.” Kal’tsit stood up, “We have just finished talking.” She looked at Welt, “Would you like to dine together?”

Welt smiled and nodded: “It’s an honor.”

On the way to the dining car, Mon3tr leaned close to Kal’tsit’s ear and whispered: “Doctor, what did you guys talk about?”

Kal’tsit glanced at her: “Too much curiosity is not a good thing.”

Mon3tr stuck out her tongue, her black hair swaying gently with the movement: “Aren’t I just worried about the Doctor~”

Welt watched this whimsical duo from the side, a trace of nostalgia flashing in his eyes.

He suddenly remembered that a long time ago, he too had companions who supported each other like this and that red-haired figure.

Inside the dining car, Himeko had already set the tableware.

Void Archives was sipping red wine gracefully, and seeing them enter, raised his glass as a gesture: “Ah, our serious Dr. Kal’tsit finally deigned to come out of the medical room.”

Kal’tsit gave him a cold glance and walked straight to her seat.

Mon3tr immediately blocked the space between the two like a brood-protecting hen: “Mr. Void Archives, please don’t tease the Doctor casually.”

Void Archives feigned heartache and clutched his chest: “Such heartbreaking treatment~”

Welt shook his head helplessly: “Don’t mind him, he just likes to be like this.”

Dinner proceeded in a slightly bizarre yet relatively harmonious atmosphere.

Kal’tsit ate quietly, and Mon3tr occasionally picked food for her.

Himeko and Welt chatted about interstellar experiences, while Void Archives chimed in with witty remarks from time to time.

When dessert was served, Pom-Pom suddenly ran in: “Attention passengers! Abnormal energy fluctuations detected ahead, pasha!”

Kal’tsit immediately put down her tableware: “Coordinates?” Read this novel at g.com for the best experience.

“Right on our route, pasha! It looks like… a damaged Space Station, pasha!”

Mon3tr had already transformed back into her combat form: “Doctor, should we go check it out?”

Kal’tsit exchanged a glance with Himeko, then nodded: “Prepare for landing and inspection. If there are survivors, they may need medical assistance.”

Welt stood up: “I’ll go too, every extra person helps.”

Void Archives leaned lazily against the back of his chair: “Ah, time for another adventure~”

Kal’tsit tidied her medical kit, her gaze resolute: “The first rule of the Astral Express—never ignore those in need of help.”

Mon3tr stood by her side, loyalty shining in her emerald eyes: “Wherever you go, I will stay by Kal’tsit’s side!”

Watching the group readying themselves, Void Archives strolled leisurely over to Welt’s side, his lips curling into that signature playful smile.

“Hehe, old friend.” He patted Welt’s shoulder flippantly, “Since I already understand the matters of this universe, I will bid farewell here first.” A trace of slyness flashed in his golden eyes, “You’ll miss me, won’t you? Hahaha.”

Welt pushed up his glasses, his fingers tightening unconsciously around his cane: “No one will be thinking of you, Void Archives.” His voice was calm, but the gaze behind his lenses was exceptionally sharp.

Void Archives shrugged nonchalantly, turning back to give Welt a meaningful glance: “How heartless~” As soon as his voice fell, his figure dissipated into the air like a phantom, leaving only a few golden light spots drifting slowly down.

“That passenger just went straight out, is there really no problem, pasha?” Pom-Pom anxiously grabbed its hat, its rabbit ears twitching nervously.

Even though the other party had already gotten off, this way of leaving was far too bizarre.

Welt withdrew his gaze, his expression softening as he turned to Pom-Pom: “Conductor, there’s no need to worry.” He pushed up his glasses, “That person… I know him. He has many ways to ensure his own survival, so just leave him be.”

Pom-Pom nodded half-believingly: “Since passenger Welt says so, then Conductor me won’t worry anymore, pasha!” It hopped toward the console, “Everyone get ready, pasha! We’ll be at that Space Station very soon, pasha!”

Kal’tsit stood before the porthole, her silver-white short hair reflecting the starlight.

Mon3tr floated to her side and asked quietly: “Dr. Kal’tsit, that blond guy… is he really okay?”

“Pay him no mind.” Kal’tsit’s voice was as calm as ever, “Compared to him, I care more about the potential wounded inside the Space Station.” She inspected the medical kit at her waist, her movements meticulous.

Mon3tr nodded, a flash of determination in her emerald eyes: “I will protect the Doctor well!”

Himeko was tuning the landing equipment, her red hair striking under the light: “Everyone, prepare for landing in three minutes. Mr. Welt, could I ask for your assistance in reconnaissance?”

Welt gripped his cane and slightly nodded: “My pleasure.”

“I tried contacting that damaged Space Station, but there was no response.” Himeko put down her communicator and looked at everyone with slightly furrowed brows.

Kal’tsit’s cat ears perked up vigilantly, a trace of solemnity flashing in her pale green eyes: “It seems the situation is worse than we imagined. I hope only the communication system was damaged, otherwise…” She didn’t finish, but everyone understood the implication—if even the life support system was damaged, the entire Space Station probably had no survivors left.

Mon3tr’s shadow form fluttered slightly, her emerald eyes sweeping over her companions: “If that’s really the case… we should at least bring the victims back for burial.” The others nodded in unison, and the atmosphere became somewhat heavy for a moment.

“Alright, prepare for rescue.” Kal’tsit’s unquestionable voice broke the silence.

She briskly checked her medical kit, her lab coat floating gently in the zero-gravity environment.

The group quickly passed through the docking hatch and stepped onto the Space Station’s platform.

The sight before them was startling—the metal walls were covered in ferocious scratches, the ground was littered with scorch marks left by energy weapons, and several bulkhead sections had even been melted into large holes. This story is hosted at novelping.com.

“This should be the platform of this Space Station, but…” Himeko squatted down, her fingers lightly touching a crack that almost traversed the entire ground, “These marks of destruction…”

Welt pushed up his glasses, his lenses reflecting a cold light: “It looks like it experienced a fierce battle.”

“Hehe, just a blind guess,” Himeko stood up, her red hair blazing like fire under the emergency lights, “This place must have been attacked by the Antimatter Legion.”

Kal’tsit nodded, her fingers brushing over a particularly neat cut on the wall: “It has the style of the Antimatter Legion, but it’s obvious that high-end military power resolved them.” Her gaze was as sharp as a knife, “This kind of cut… is a fatal blow in one strike.”

Mon3tr floated over to an automatically sliding door that had been cleanly split apart, her emerald eyes contracting slightly: “The Doctor is right, these Antimatter Legion soldiers were almost all dealt with in a single strike.”

Welt gripped his cane and walked forward cautiously: “However, we cannot rule out whether there are still remnants of the Antimatter Legion inside the Space Station.” His voice echoed in the empty corridor, “Everyone stay alert.”

As they went deeper, more and more traces of battle appeared before their eyes.

Corpse after corpse of Antimatter soldiers were precisely pinned to the walls, some even instantaneously terminated while maintaining a charging posture.

Even more disturbing was that they hadn’t found the trace of a single Space Station staff member so far.

“Strange…” Mon3tr muttered softly, “Where did everyone go?”

Just then, Kal’tsit suddenly stopped, her cat ears twitching violently: “There’s a sound.” She pointed to a sealed door at the end of the corridor, “It’s coming from there.”

The group immediately entered combat readiness.

Welt raised his cane, Himeko gripped her energy pistol, and Mon3tr completely transformed into a shadow enveloping Kal’tsit.

When the sealed door slowly opened, the scene before them left everyone stunned—

Dozens of Space Station staff members were neatly lying inside medical pods, each connected to a life support system.

And in their midst, a familiar figure was standing with his back to the door, his long golden hair spreading out like sunlight in the zero-gravity environment.

“Oh my, you’re really slow~” Void Archives turned around, a maddeningly irritating smile hanging on his face, “I’m almost done treating the wounded.”

Welt’s jaw almost dropped to the floor: “You… how could you…?”

Void Archives spread his hands gracefully: “I just hitched a ride.

But it seems…” He looked at Kal’tsit meaningfully, “Our dear Doctor seems to have guessed it long ago?”

Kal’tsit let out a cold snort, but her hands didn’t stop for a single second as she began checking the nearest wounded person: “Mon3tr, prepare the medical equipment. At least this time… you did a good deed.”

Mon3tr took out the instruments while muttering quietly: “The sun must have risen from the west for this guy to actually save people…”

Hearing this, Void Archives burst into laughter, the sound echoing within the medical compartment.

Outside the window, the lights of the Astral Express, like a lighthouse guiding one’s return home, quietly shone upon this revitalized Space Station…
