Lucian walked along the streets of Rivet Town.

There weren’t many people on the streets.

Compared with the upper district, the place was considerably quieter.Full novel: Honkai Star Rail: The Writer Who Rewrote — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

He held Seele’s photograph in his hand, admiring it.

Originally, he had simply intended to appreciate the picture normally.

Unfortunately, men were men.

That was just how it was.

If you didn’t have the ability to use the technique, then fine.

But once you possessed such a god-tier technique, you couldn’t help but explore a whole new world.

Lucian was no exception.

“Sorry, Seele.

Disarm.” As the entry activated, the photograph in Lucian’s hand began to change as well.

The girl’s body was revealed in full detail, rendered in high-definition uncensored quality.

Lucian enjoyed the view all by himself.

“So she has a mole here.

That’s actually quite charming.” Clang!

He suddenly heard the sound of metal colliding coming from an alley ahead.

Lucian raised his head, determined the direction, and then turned into the alley.

This was a shortcut to Natasha’s clinic.

Before going to find Svarog, he planned to visit Natasha first and ask about the current situation in the Underworld.

A few minutes earlier… It was the same alley.

Seele was swaggering through it with her scythe over her shoulder, conducting her patrol.

For someone who had survived since childhood in dark and dangerous corners, a place like this was practically a sunlit boulevard.

Besides, Seele had already built up quite a reputation here.

She didn’t have to worry about anyone trying to rob her.

She looked around as she walked, muttering to herself.

“I don’t understand why they insisted on sending Silvermane Guards down here to stand watch.

They clearly said we’d be allowed to manage the Underworld with Wildfire…” “If Lucian could personally come here and take charge, that would be great…” “Forget it.

That’s impossible.” Someone as powerful as him naturally wouldn’t want to live in such a dark underground place.

Besides, Natasha was still wary of other people.

“The person who allowed us to see the light of day again—how could he possibly be a bad person?” Seele continued grumbling.

“Even if he has a few minor flaws, how bad could he really be?” Riiip~!

Suddenly, something strange happened!

A familiar piece of clothing flew past Seele’s eyes.

A cold breeze swept through the alley, and she suddenly felt an icy chill below.

At the same time, the scythe in Seele’s hand seemed to come alive, as if it were actively trying to escape her grasp.

Clang!

The scythe slipped from her hand and hit the ground with a metallic crash.

Even her clothes seemed to have developed a life of their own, fleeing from her body.

One piece, two pieces, three pieces… Until even her underwear burst away… Seele finally came to her senses and was horrified.

She was outside!

If anyone saw her like this, her social death would be absolute.

There would be no way to live it down.

“!!!

Don’t let me find out who did this!” Seele cursed under her breath.

She quickly looked around.

Fortunately, there was no one nearby.

Otherwise, she would never be able to die peacefully today.

She had no idea why this was happening.

It was simply too bizarre!

“What the hell?

There isn’t anyone around.

How did my clothes just explode off me?” No matter how much she thought about it, Seele couldn’t figure out the answer.

The most important thing now was to find some clothes and cover herself up.

However, the surroundings were completely empty.

There was nothing useful in sight.

Except for a garbage can.

“Hopefully there’s something inside I can wear.” Seele wasn’t particularly bothered by the idea of rummaging through a garbage can.

She had spent her childhood rummaging through trash and surviving on whatever she could find.

Completely naked, she walked over to the garbage can, opened the lid, and carefully searched through it.

Unfortunately, there was nothing useful inside.

With no other choice, Seele emptied the garbage and then put the garbage can over herself, slowly shuffling forward.

At least this way, nobody would recognize her, and she could safely make it home.

When she was little and being chased by Fragmentum creatures, she had done the same thing.

For other girls, such behavior would be the ultimate humiliation.

But for Seele, doing things like this was exactly how she had survived.

“Good.

Just like this.

There aren’t many people around today, so I’ll definitely make it home safely.” Seele’s two bare white feet shuffled along the ground.

The clothes weren’t the only things that had exploded away.

Her shoes and socks were gone too.

“I swear I’ll find whoever is behind this and cut their head off with my scythe.” Seele cursed quietly as she continued moving.

Thud~ Suddenly, she bumped into something.

She was just about to change direction when a tremendous force suddenly lifted the garbage can away.

Seele’s mind went completely blank with fear.

She instinctively curled herself up, doing her best to cover the most vulnerable parts of her body.

Lucian was dumbfounded too.

He had simply seen a garbage can moving around and decided to lift it up to see what was hiding inside.

He never expected… A completely naked beautiful girl?!

“Is this some kind of performance art?

Or some sort of honey trap?” Lucian looked left and right.

There really was no one else around.

Of course, even if it were a honey trap, he wouldn’t be afraid.

He could simply beat them to death.

As for this beautiful girl, the more Lucian looked at her, the more familiar she seemed.

Seele heard a familiar voice.

She slowly raised her head.

Their eyes met.

At that instant… They both recognized each other.

“Seele?” “Lucian?” Both of them saw astonishment in each other’s eyes.

Seele was shocked that someone had seen her completely exposed… And that person happened to be the very kind-hearted man she had just been talking about.

Lucian, meanwhile, was shocked that Seele had apparently been Disarmed too.

He was far too familiar with this scene.

After pausing for a moment, Lucian immediately waved his hand.

Using the power of Abundance, he wove an entire set of clothes and placed them in front of Seele.

“No matter what kind of excitement you’re looking for, put some clothes on first.” With that, Lucian turned around like a gentleman.

He even used his tall figure to block the light and shield Seele from view.

At that moment… Light sparkled in Seele’s eyes.

She had just witnessed the kindest gentleman in the entire world!
