Historically, wars waged through sudden nighttime attacks have been the most effective at defeating the enemy.

That is exactly what Emily is doing right now, standing outside Cedric’s office door in the middle of the night.

Emily wore a wide coat that covered the thin, knee-length evening gown she had on.

Her body smelled lovely thanks to a special soap she’d bought in town while out shopping with Anna.

Emily arrived carrying a teapot filled with red ginseng tea she’d bought at an Eastern herbal shop—said to be good for male virility.

“Tonight, failure is not an option!” Emily declared confidently.

Knock… knock… knock… Emily knocked gently on the Grand Duke’s office door.

“Who is it?” asked the Grand Duke from inside.

“It’s Emily, Your Grace!” replied Emily.

Thud… Thud… There was a commotion coming from inside, as if someone were moving things around.

A few minutes later, Cedric’s voice could be heard inviting Emily in.

“What brings you here so late at night, Lady Emily?” Cedric asked, trying to sound calm, even though his heart was actually pounding wildly.

“I’ve come to bring you some tea, Your Grace.

You’ve been working all day; sit with me and have a cup of tea for a moment.” Emily invited him as she poured the special tea she had prepared into a cup.

Seeing that Emily had already poured the tea into the cup, Cedric couldn’t refuse.

He got up from his desk and sat on the guest sofa with Emily.

“Please,” Emily said, offering the cup of tea Cedric, accepting the teacup, drank it without hesitation.

‘It can’t be poisoned, can it?’ Cedric thought.

Emily, seeing Cedric drink the tea she’d given him, continued her act.

“It’s quite hot in here, Your Grace…” Emily said as she unbuttoned her coat, revealing the short, sheer white satin evening gown she was wearing.

If one looked closely, the dress was even slightly see-through.

“Ugh…” Cedric nearly choked on the tea he was drinking.

“W-why are you dressed like that outside your room?” Cedric asked, wiping the tea residue from his lips.

“I was about to go to sleep, but suddenly I thought of Grand Duke Cedric.

So I came here to satisfy my longing,” Emily replied playfully, twirling a strand of her hair between her fingers.

“I’ve already had the tea you brought; you should go back to your room now.

Although the taste is a bit strange—what kind of tea is this?” Cedric asked curiously, as a spicy and warming sensation emerged from the tea.

“It’s red ginseng tea, Your Grace.

The seller said it’s good for male virility,” Emily replied as she casually took off her coat.

“WHAT?” Cedric hadn’t expected Emily to take such a bold step.

“Didn’t I tell you I’d fix you, Your Grace?” Emily said as she suddenly sat on Cedric’s lap.

“W-what are you doing, Lady Emily?” Cedric asked, startled and nervous, grabbing Emily’s arms to push her away.

At such close range, Cedric didn’t know where to look.

Emily’s face was so close to his.

Cedric’s nose was filled with the fragrant scent of his fiancée’s body.

“You’re the one who invited me to ask for further proof.

I’m just fulfilling the invitation,” Emily replied, wrapping both her arms around Cedric’s neck as if reluctant to let go.

Never in his life had a woman dared to touch Cedric.

This was due to rumors that he was a cold-blooded killer on the battlefield.

Although his status as a Grand Duke was quite promising, what parent would want to entrust their child to a psychopathic killer?

Even his fiancée, whom the King had arranged for him two months ago, didn’t dare to look him in the eye.

Yet now that same fiancée was acting very aggressively to seduce him.

Cedric, who had no experience with women, was completely flustered.

“Lady Emily, this doesn’t seem appropriate.

We made a mistake back then,” Cedric replied, trying to brush Emily’s hand away and push her off his lap.

“A mistake?” Emily retorted angrily.

‘What kind of jerk kisses a woman passionately and then calls it a mistake?’ Emily thought.

“Fine, let’s make another mistake.

I don’t mind.

I like learning from my mistakes!” Emily replied, somewhat annoyed, as her right hand aggressively tugged at Cedric’s hair at the back of his head to lift his face up.

“Smack…” Emily kissed Cedric on the lips without warning.

Cedric was taken by surprise.

“This woman is truly fearless—coming to a man’s place at night in provocative clothing to seduce him.

She’s a truly terrifying weapon,” Cedric thought, as his hands tried to pull away from Emily.

Strangely, he couldn’t push her away with any real force; it was as if his strength had been completely drained by Emily’s boldness.

Whether it was the effect of the herbal tea Cedric had just drunk or because he was simply swept away by Emily’s seduction, he eventually couldn’t resist.

Cedric, who had never felt a woman’s touch before, experienced for the first time a shiver running through his entire body.

The atmosphere grew increasingly heated; Cedric finally gave in to the urge and began passionately returning Emily’s kiss.

He savored every curve of Emily’s lips with his tongue.

Cedric’s body grew hot; he began kissing Emily’s neck and the cleavage exposed beneath her mini-dress, like a thirsty man frantically searching for an oasis.

“Hmm… ahhh… keep going, Cedric…” Emily moaned into Cedric’s ear, deliberately seducing her fiancé.

Emily was busy unbuttoning Cedric’s shirt in the midst of the chaos.

“Damn buttons,” Emily grumbled.

Hearing Emily’s moans, a wave of heat surged through Cedric’s body; he could no longer hold back his desire to fully savor Emily’s body.

With all his shirt buttons undone, Cedric laid Emily down on the sofa.

They locked eyes—there was nothing but lust in Cedric’s gaze, as if he wanted to devour Emily whole.

Emily touched Cedric’s muscular body and broad chest lying above her with admiration.

“Emily, you have a fiancé this handsome.

If I were you, I’d marry him right then and there—to hell with the engagement!” Emily thought to herself.

Cedric ran his hand up Emily’s smooth thigh from her knee toward her upper body, slowly lifting her evening gown.

Revealing amazing things Cedric had never seen before.

“I’m going crazy,” Cedric muttered.

Cedric spread Emily’s thighs and kissed the inside of her thigh between gasps of breath.

It seemed the herbal tea had worked a treat.

Cedric felt his junior down there throbbing as if it were about to burst.

The atmosphere grew increasingly heated until… Knock…knock…knock… “My Lord, it’s late.

It’s time for you to sleep.

Are you in there?” Philip’s voice could be heard from outside the room, startling Cedric and Emily and causing them to stop their passionate activity.

As if coming to his senses, Cedric immediately got up from on top of Emily.

“All right, I’ll be done soon.

Wait outside,” Cedric replied, sounding a bit panicked.

Cedric quickly buttoned his shirt back up.

“Your Grace, are you just going to leave?” Emily asked in disbelief; after all the effort she’d put in, Cedric was just brushing her off like that.

Instead of answering, Cedric tossed Emily’s coat onto her lap.

“Put it on, and get out of here quickly,” Cedric replied curtly.

Realizing she had been kicked out, Emily put on her coat in frustration and got up from the sofa, fixing her messy hair.

“From now on, you’re not allowed in my office without Anna or Philip,” Cedric added.

“Damn…” Emily cursed.

“I’ll be back.

Don’t think you can just get away from me, Your Grace!

I’ll hunt you down to the ends of the earth,” Emily said angrily as she left Cedric’s office.

“I almost lost my mind because of that crazy woman.

She’s truly an enemy who cannot be underestimated,” Cedric muttered.

When Emily opened the door, she ran into Philip outside the room.

Emily’s blood pressure seemed to reach its peak at the sight of Philip’s innocent face, which always interfered with her plans.

“My Lady, why are you here?” Philip asked, surprised to find Emily in the Grand Duke’s office late at night.

“I hate you,” Emily replied, walking away with a scowl.

Philip, who didn’t understand what Emily meant, could only stare blankly as she left.

‘What did I do wrong?’ he muttered.

============================================================= Pow… pow… pow… !

Emily vented her anger by punching the pillows and bolsters on her bed.

“My Lady, please calm down,” said Anna, trying to soothe her Master, who looked extremely upset.

“I’ve never had such a strong urge to tie Philip up and send him to a fishing boat out at sea!” said Emily angrily.

“Cedric isn’t any better than him; he just kicked me out, as if I were useless trash that had tempted him!” “Yeah, I did tempt him, but he was tempted too—why is he acting so self-righteous?

HAH!” “Hehehe,” Anna laughed at Emily’s complaints.

“Why are you laughing at me?” Emily asked, throwing a pillow at Anna, but Anna caught it.

“I’m glad Lady Emily is now able to express her feelings.

Before, my lady would just stay silent and accept whatever others did to you.

But now I’m happy, because my lady seems braver than I ever imagined.” Anna replied earnestly.

Emily could only remain silent as she listened to Anna’s words.

‘Of course I’ve changed; I’m not the real Emily…’ ‘Emily, why are you suffering when you have a friend as good as Anna who truly loves you?’ Emily thought.

Emily suddenly hugged Anna.

Of course, Anna was taken by surprise.

She felt that the Emily of today was more affectionate and open.

But Anna didn’t hate this change; she was proud of the transformation in her Master.

Anna was happy that the Emily of today was openly trying to pursue her own desires.

============================================================== Meanwhile, Emily was frustrated by the failure of her mission.

Cedric, for his part, was busy trying to calm himself down.

With the adrenaline still rushing through his body, sleep was out of the question.

His junior down there didn’t seem ready to go back to sleep yet—whether due to the herbal effects or because Cedric was still replaying the heated incident in the office earlier.

He could only lie in bed, staring at the ceiling, trying to calm himself.

“Emily is very dangerous… I mustn’t underestimate her…” Cedric muttered.
