These words struck like thunder, instantly locking everyone in place, stunned and unable to react.

Were these words something a child his age could say?!

To still hold warmth and hope for the world after enduring life’s torments…

What a magnanimous spirit!

Even Dumbledore probably couldn’t manage that!

“Merlin’s beard!

Are you a poet?!” Ron’s jaw dropped so far it practically unhinged.

Harry’s eyes were wide as saucers.

As for Ginny…

The little girl’s eyes were completely fixed on Harry, not hearing a word of Elavin’s words.

Just then— “What are you all standing around for?” “Is little Ronnie missing his mummy already?” It was the Weasley twins, who had grown tired of waiting and come back off the train.

“We should probably hurry.” Elavin pointed at the thinning crowd on the platform and turned.

“Goodbye, madam.” Mrs.

Weasley replied automatically, “Oh…

goodbye.” Elavin nodded, then looked at Harry and Ron.

“Aren’t you coming?” “Yes!

Of course!” Harry finally snapped out of his shock and hurried after Elavin.

Ron was about to follow when Mrs.

Weasley pulled him back.

“Harry, Elavin, could you please go ahead?

I have a few things to say to my boys.” “Of course.” Elavin knew what Mrs.

Weasley wanted to say to her children.

The kind-hearted woman was surely reminding them not to bring up topics like “family background” or “saviour” around him and Harry.

On the train.

“Looks like we’re a bit late.

Want to find a compartment together?” “Sure.” Having sensed Elavin’s presence and attitude, Harry was already starting to unconsciously rely on Elavin’s lead.

They searched for a while and finally found an empty compartment.

Harry looked up at the high luggage rack, then at his trunk by his feet.

After a brief moment of hesitation, his expression became resolute.

Just as his hand was about to touch the trunk— The large trunk slowly floated up and placed itself on the rack.

“Elavin?” Harry turned to look at Elavin.

He knew it must be his magic.

Elavin nodded.

“That’s the Levitation Charm.

We’ll learn in our first year at Hogwarts.

Handy spell, isn’t it?” Harry glanced up at the trunk and nodded.

“It really is.

Thanks!” “You’re welcome.” They sat down and began to chat.

“So…

you grew up in the Muggle world too, right?” No sooner had Harry spoken than he realised he’d asked a stupid question.

Elavin had already mentioned “orphanage,” “Hogwarts letter,” “drifting through life on the streets” — how could he be from a wizarding family?

“Yeah.” “I…

I am too.” Harry quickly added, “I grew up with a Muggle family.

I didn’t know I was a wizard until Hagrid found me a month ago.

Oh, Hagrid is the Keeper of Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts.

He’s a giant over 3 metres tall.

I’ll introduce you when we get to school?” “Sure, sounds good.” Hagrid — it felt to him like Hagrid must be the richest person at Hogwarts.

If he could befriend him and get some magical creature hair from the Forbidden Forest, he’d be rich!

They hadn’t been talking long when Ron dragged his trunk over.

“Hey, Elavin, Harry.

Can I sit here?

Everywhere else is full.” “Of course.” They gladly agreed, moving over to make room for Ron.

The train started moving.

Houses flashed past the window.

Harry seemed a bit emotional.

Ron had a painfully awkward expression.

Elavin pulled a soft cushion out of his Mokeskin pouch, then leaned back, closed his eyes, and went to sleep.

Both of them were stunned by this move.

“How…

how did you do that?” “That’s a pouch with an Undetectable Extension Charm.

You can put lots of things inside.” Compared to Harry, who knew nothing about the wizarding world, Ron, coming from a wizarding family, had more knowledge.

“But…” Ron hesitated.

“But what?” Harry asked.

Ron glanced at Elavin, saw he wasn’t interrupting, and continued, “But from what I know, bags with Undetectable Extension Charms are tightly controlled by the Ministry of Magic.

They’re strictly controlled and extremely rare, let alone appearing on…

on people like us.” Harry understood that “people like us” referred to Hogwarts students—first-year newcomers without much experience or influence in the wizarding world.

He had looked around carefully when boarding — none of the other students had any such pouch.

Everyone was carrying bags and trunks.

The compartment fell silent for a moment.

Neither of them asked where Elavin’s pouch came from.

Just then, the compartment door slid open and the Weasley twins walked in.

The moment they entered, they shouted in astonishment.

“Merlin’s pyjamas!

You’re actually sleeping?!” “On such a comfy cushion!” Roused by their shouting, Elavin had to open his eyes.

“Come on, this train ride is at least 6 hours.

What else am I supposed to do but sleep?” Harry finally snapped out of his shock and remembered what Elavin had said on the platform.

“The present is a gift — worth cherishing…” So “cherishing” meant sleeping?

No!

That couldn’t be right!

He must have misunderstood!

“You make a good point.

Sorry for disturbing your rest.” “But we’re not about to waste good time sleeping.” The twins exchanged a grin.

“We didn’t get to properly introduce ourselves earlier.

I’m Fred Weasley.” “And I’m George Weasley.” “This is our little brother, Ron.” Elavin sat up a bit straighter.

“Elavin Yakute.” Harry quickly introduced himself too.

“Harry Potter.” The twins had already been warned by Mrs.

Weasley, and both brothers were socially savvy, so they showed no surprise.

They didn’t ask about Harry’s scar — they just smiled kindly.

“You already said your names back at the station, but I hadn’t said mine yet.

So, if anything, I was the rude one.” Elavin’s attitude made the twins warm to him even more.

“See, Fred?

He’s as elegant as a gentleman.” “Yeah, George.

Now we don’t have to worry about him stealing our ‘Prank King’ throne.” Everyone in the compartment burst out laughing.
