Monday arrived with more enthusiasm than most school mornings.

The Great Hall was louder than usual during breakfast.

First-years from every house were discussing the upcoming Charms lesson, where Professor Flitwick had promised they would finally begin practising a proper spell.Full novel: HP: The Perverted Badger — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

That alone made the morning worth looking forward to.

History of Magic offered six-hundred-year-old goblin rebellions delivered in Professor Binns’s unchanging voice.

Defence Against the Dark Arts might have been interesting if Professor Quirrell could finish a sentence before half the class lost track of how it had started.

Potions taught real magic, but it also came with Snape gliding behind the students like a gloomy bat waiting for someone to ruin a cauldron.

Charms was different.

Professor Flitwick demonstrated actual spells, explained how they worked, and looked genuinely pleased when someone succeeded.

Today, every student would have a wand in hand instead of spending the entire lesson copying notes.

Even Hermione had abandoned the book propped beside her breakfast long enough to explain the correct pronunciation of the spell to Neville.

Nobody had asked her yet.

At the Hufflepuff table, Susan finished her toast while Hannah wondered aloud what they would be levitating.

Justin hoped Professor Flitwick would begin with something more impressive than parchment or feathers.

Adrian expected feathers.

Teachers had an unfortunate habit of beginning every interesting subject with the least interesting object available.

When breakfast ended, the first-years gathered their bags and joined the crowd leaving the Great Hall.

Conversation about the coming lesson continued all the way through the corridors, growing louder whenever someone claimed to have already practised the charm at home.

By the time Adrian entered the Charms classroom beside Susan, nearly everyone was looking eagerly toward Professor Flitwick’s desk.

Professor Flitwick stood on his usual pile of heavy books at the front of the room.

A single white feather waited before every pair of students at the long wooden tables.

Flitwick demonstrated the charm flawlessly.

” Wingardium Leviosa .” The feather rose smoothly, circled his head once, and settled gently onto the desk.

He carefully explained the three critical requirements: correct pronunciation, the precise swish and flick wand movement, and continuous but gentle magical intent.

Adrian sat beside Susan near the middle of the room.

Hermione sat directly across from them, with Neville beside her.

Harry and Ron were at the next table over, while Hannah and Justin sat directly behind Adrian.

When Flitwick instructed them to begin, Hermione succeeded first.

Her feather rose quickly and hovered several inches above the table.

It wasn’t perfectly still, but she performed significantly better than most of the class.

Flitwick happily awarded Gryffindor a point.

Susan’s pronunciation was correct, but she made the wand movement far too rigid.

Her feather rose sharply on one side and rolled completely over.

She managed to improve after consciously loosening her wrist.

Neville’s feather merely shook and spun.

He was visibly nervous about his wrapped wrist, and Hermione’s immediate attempts to correct him only made him more anxious.

“Stop trying to perform perfectly,” Adrian told Neville.

“Imagine keeping a dried leaf above wet soil.” Neville tried again.

His feather lifted briefly.

It was not a spectacular success, but it was noticeably better.

Adrian then drew his ash wand, expecting his Steady Hands passive to give him an immediate advantage.

His swish and flick was perfectly clean, but his pronunciation was slightly off.

” Wingardium Levio-sar .” The feather jumped several inches into the air, shot aggressively sideways, and struck Susan’s open textbook.

Susan looked down at the feather lying across a paragraph.

“You appear to be attacking my homework.” Hermione immediately interrupted.

“It is Levi-o-sa, not Levio-sar,” she corrected, stressing the ‘O’ rather than the final syllable.

Adrian tried again.

This time, the pronunciation was correct, but he pushed entirely too much magic into the spell.

The feather shot violently upward, hit the underside of the next table, and fell directly into Justin’s hair.

Flitwick was currently helping Harry and Ron, so he didn’t intervene.

After two more rough attempts, Hermione abandoned her seat and came around the table.

Adrian’s wand movement was clean, but every correction sent too much magic into the feather.

Hermione adjusted his wrist with two fingers and demonstrated the movement beside him.

His grip remained too tight, as though the feather needed to be defeated rather than guided.

Susan watched from Adrian’s other side, visibly entertained by the lesson.

Adrian made another attempt.

The feather rose, but tilted badly to the left.

Hermione sighed heavily.

She moved around him again, standing with her back partly turned to the rest of the room as she pointed firmly toward the hovering feather.

“You are still applying the force to one side rather than spreading it across the entire target,” Hermione told him in frustration.

A pink screen suddenly materialized directly in front of Adrian.

[PERVERTED MISSION] [Use Wingardium Leviosa to lift Hermione Granger’s skirt while she is correcting you.] [Bonus: Hold it steady long enough for Susan Bones to identify what Hermione is wearing underneath.] [Reward: Charms Insight Fragment ×2 and 25 PP.] [Failure Penalty: For twenty-four hours, every Levitation Charm you cast will lift your own shirt.] Adrian accepted the mission internally.

It wasn’t the reason he was trying to learn levitation, but it gave him a truly motivational practical target after Hermione’s repeated insistence that he needed better control.

Flitwick had moved to Harry and Ron’s table.

Neville was bent over his feather, while Hannah and Justin argued behind them about which syllable they were pronouncing incorrectly.

The long desks concealed Hermione below the waist from most of the classroom.

Susan alone was looking directly across at her.

Hermione leaned slightly across the table, pointing at Adrian’s tilted feather.

Adrian subtly turned his wand toward the rear hem of her pleated school skirt.

” Wingardium Leviosa ,” Adrian cast.

The rear of Hermione’s skirt rose smoothly.

It didn’t fly wildly over her head.

The spell caught the pleated fabric and lifted it evenly from both sides.

The hem rose above her thighs, completely exposing the lower curve of her ass, then most of both cheeks.

The thin waistband of a narrow black thong became visible, followed by the rear string buried entirely between her ass cheeks.

Susan saw absolutely everything.

Hermione froze when the cold air of the classroom touched her bare skin.

Her explanation stopped halfway through a sentence.

She slowly turned her head toward Adrian, her eyes widening in stunned disbelief.

“Adrian!” Hermione yelped sharply, though she managed to keep her voice low enough not to stop the entire classroom.

Students nearby heard her use his name but couldn’t see what had happened because the heavy wooden desks completely blocked Hermione below the waist.

Susan looked beneath the floating skirt, her initial surprise rapidly transforming into open amusement.

She didn’t shout or call everyone’s attention.

Instead, she leaned slightly to improve her view.

“I did not know our most studious witch preferred thongs,” Susan remarked quietly.

Hermione’s face turned bright red.

She reached behind herself, but the raised pleats sat too high for her to catch without turning around and exposing herself to the next table.

She caught the front of her skirt instead, holding it firmly against her thighs.

Susan continued studying the view.

The thong was narrow enough that its rear strip had disappeared completely between Hermione’s cheeks.

“That is an unusually economical amount of fabric,” Susan added, her tone highly analytical.

“It does not leave visible lines beneath a fitted skirt!” Hermione explained defensively in a rushed whisper.

Susan gave her a serious, scholarly nod.

“A practical academic choice.” “Shut up, Susan!” Hermione hissed.

Hermione looked ready to drag the skirt down and strike Adrian with her textbook.

Then her attention shifted to the floating hem.

The pleats were level.

The fabric had not twisted, and the entire rear edge remained suspended at one stable height.

After repeatedly failing with the feather, Adrian was finally distributing the spell evenly across a flexible target.

Hermione looked from her skirt to his wand, visibly furious that the result supported her own explanation.

“Your distribution across the fabric,” Hermione admitted through clenched teeth, “is finally even.” “Was that praise?” Susan asked immediately.

Hermione aggressively ignored her.

Adrian became slightly distracted by the exposed view, and the skirt drifted an inch higher.

“Too high,” Hermione corrected automatically.

“Two inches lower.” Adrian resisted the urge to force the spell.

He eased the pressure instead, and the skirt lowered by exactly two inches.

Hermione’s blush deepened when she realised she had just helped Adrian maintain the spell exposing her.

Abandoning the demonstration now, however, would mean pretending the control was not working.

“Hold it steady for five seconds,” Hermione ordered.

She counted quickly under her breath while Susan continued looking.

At five, Adrian lowered his wand.

The fabric settled smoothly against the back of Hermione’s thighs without a single twist.

[MISSION COMPLETE] [Bonus condition fulfilled.] [Charms Insight Fragment ×2] [25 PP] [PP Balance: 305 → 330] Adrian dismissed the notification immediately.

Hermione dragged her skirt flat with both hands and turned on Adrian.

Her face remained bright red, but the initial shock had already hardened into a desire for immediate revenge.

Adrian had barely lowered his wand when Hermione raised hers beneath the edge of the table.

Hermione subtly raised her own wand beneath the table.

She cast the charm at the back hem of Adrian’s shirt.

The fabric shot up to his ribs and bunched beneath his arms, exposing his stomach, trouser waistband, and a narrow strip of underwear.

Susan laughed loudly enough that Professor Flitwick glanced toward their table.

Hermione quickly lowered Adrian’s shirt before the professor could see the target.

“What happened over there?” Flitwick asked.

“Adrian finally achieved controlled Levitation, Professor,” Hermione answered, her face still deeply red.

Flitwick beamed and asked Adrian to demonstrate on the feather.

Adrian cast on the feather again.

As it began to tilt, he felt the magical pressure gathering more strongly along one side.

Instead of forcing the feather back, he eased the uneven pull.

It hovered for twenty-five seconds, drifted once, and descended with only a slight bounce against the wood.

Flitwick praised the clear improvement rather than perfection, and awarded Hufflepuff one point for finally applying the lesson correctly.

Hermione sat down heavily and resumed her own work.

She adamantly refused to look directly at Susan for several minutes.

Susan occasionally glanced over at Hermione’s skirt and smiled, and Hermione noticed it every single time.

The rest of the class continued normally.

Neville finally managed to lift his feather for nearly fifteen seconds.

Susan achieved a very controlled twenty-second hover.

Ron’s feather flew directly into Harry’s face after an overly strong cast, and Hermione successfully lowered hers without a single wobble.

When Flitwick dismissed them, Adrian understood the first part of controlled Levitation.

A feather was manageable.

A school skirt had proved surprisingly cooperative.

A troll’s club would be another matter entirely.

The students poured out into the bustling corridor.

Hermione walked quickly ahead, her bag held firmly close to her side.

Susan effortlessly caught up to her.

“Does the thong truly avoid visible lines beneath the uniform?” Susan asked quietly.

Hermione nearly tripped over her own feet.

“Never mention it again,” she ordered.

Susan offered no promises.

Before they reached the main staircase, an enchanted paper broom flew through an open window and landed squarely against Adrian’s chest.

It was Cho’s message.

Saturday afternoon.

Same practice field.

Three laps.

We agree on the forfeit before flying.

Susan may attend.

Hermione saw the note and sighed.

“Why is Cho challenging you again when you still cannot keep a feather floating for thirty seconds?” Susan took the message and read it twice before looking at Adrian.

“You are not answering until she states the exact stakes.” Adrian looked through the nearest window toward the distant Quidditch pitch.

He had finally stopped trying to overpower a feather.

Before Saturday, he needed to persuade a broomstick to accept the same lesson.
