Seeing his surroundings, Ian was completely dumbfounded.

Yellow sand filled the air.

As far as the eye could see, there was almost no trace of high-rise city buildings.Full novel: Hunter × Hunter: Sign-In the Four-Dimensional Pocket — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

A foul stench permeated everywhere.

In fact…

he was currently standing on a mountain of garbage.

All of this…

made one thing abundantly clear to him.

He was definitely no longer on Earth…

After a long while…

Having no choice but to accept this reality, Ian, though still somewhat dazed, had no intention of staying put and waiting for death.

Helpless, he took a step forward, preparing to leave this massive dump.

At the very least…

he needed to find someone first!

But the moment he crawled out of the trash pile and raised his hand, he noticed something was wrong!

‘What happened to my body!?’ He quickly looked down at his hands and feet.

His pupils shrank in shock as he realized his body had shrunk!

After carefully examining himself, he realized he had completely reverted to his childhood appearance!

‘What a terrible transmigration…’ This thought flashed through Ian’s mind.

Having transmigration actually happen to him left him with incredibly complicated feelings.

To be honest, he hadn’t been dissatisfied with his past life.

To just transmigrate like this…

It felt like everything was completely out of his control.

Ian’s heart sank to rock bottom.

His current situation was terrible, and he didn’t even know if he had reverted to his younger self or transmigrated into another child’s body.

But there was nothing he could do.

He could only take things one step at a time.

With that in mind, he stumbled down the garbage mountain.

He didn’t know how long he walked.

Along the way, he saw many scavenging vultures.

Unfortunately, his steps were faltering and slow.

Unable to run, he could only avoid them to keep from being pecked.

Under the blazing sun, his entire body was already drenched in sweat.

Most importantly…

His head was injured.

Bright red blood continuously trickled down his forehead.

He couldn’t tell if his eyes were bloodshot or if the blood had simply seeped into them.

Everything he looked at was covered in a bloody haze.

He couldn’t see clearly at all.

‘Where exactly is this place?

Why haven’t I seen a single person…’ If Ian knew he was currently in Meteor City…

He probably wouldn’t be hoping to run into anyone right now…

Because he wouldn’t know if he was meeting a human or a monster!

This was a desert of civilization.

It was also a proving ground where humanity and bestiality violently clashed.

Here, there was no social safety net to fall back on.

Braving the scorching sun.

Ian didn’t know how long he had been walking, but he was finally on the verge of collapse.

As far as his eyes could see.

He seemed to spot a pack of wild dogs!

Ian let out a bitter laugh.

“Damn it, am I hallucinating?” He felt his consciousness beginning to blur, and anxiety welled up inside him.

He knew…

He had probably lost too much blood!

At this rate, he would die here sooner or later—if not from blood loss, then by the jaws of these green-eyed wild dogs!

At the thought of this, he couldn’t help but shiver.

Imagining himself being torn apart by wild dogs made him feel pathetic, and a profound sense of desolation rose in his heart.

‘Am I really going to end up like this?’ However, just as grief and indignation filled his heart…

Suddenly, time around him seemed to stand still…

In that moment, Ian felt as if he had been locked onto by some supreme consciousness.

Even though his body hadn’t moved an inch, he instantly felt his consciousness rapidly ascending.

He looked down at the wild dogs, pulling away from the earth at breakneck speed, until he passed through the atmosphere and gazed upon the massive, bizarre black planet before him.

His consciousness continued to fly outward, reaching into the depths of the starry universe!

Then, at a certain moment, he seemed to “see” it.

In the boundless universe, a giant, round blue head flashed him a wide, grinning smile.

Ian felt his consciousness become incredibly clear!

But even so.

Upon seeing this adorable yet incomparably majestic figure, he still felt utterly bewildered.

He never expected to see *him* here!

Was he sure he wasn’t watching a cartoon?

“Th-That’s…” “The legendary Dora…” Ian watched as the figure seemed to wave a perfectly round, little white fist at him, blinked, and then everything turned into light.

All the imagery blurred, as if he had just woken from a bizarre dream.

When Ian opened his eyes again.

He was back in this foul-smelling world.

It wasn’t a nightmare; it was something he was truly experiencing!

Right in front of him, about seven or eight starving dogs with glowing green eyes were staring at him ferociously.

Cold sweat broke out on Ian’s forehead!

‘What did that just mean!?’ ‘Why did I see the God of Dora!?’ ‘But…

I’m about to be eaten alive by these wild dogs!’ However, just as Ian was panicking…

Suddenly, he realized his injuries no longer hurt.

The bleeding on his forehead and the bloody haze clouding his vision seemed to have lessened significantly.

Upon closer inspection…

He discovered a new surge of power within his body!

It was this power that had healed his body in that split second, and he could sense its source!

“Congratulations, you have obtained the Sign-In 4D Pocket System!” A voice rang out in his mind out of nowhere!

“Sign-in…

4D Pocket?” Ian was incredibly curious!

However.

The very next moment, he understood.

Just how fortunate this truly was!

“Every day…

the God of Dora will place His gadgets into His pocket.

Oh, young man blessed by God, enjoy all your experiences in this world to the fullest!” This sentence echoed in Ian’s mind once more.

The next moment.

He felt a warm current emerge from his hand.

‘Sign in?’ With a mere thought from Ian, a strange yellow glove woven from yarn appeared in his palm.

“Is this…

a magical gadget!?”
