“I don’t need any help!”

“Neither do I!” Uvogin was already bruised and battered, but instead of weakening, he was becoming more and more excited.

“None of you are allowed to interfere!”

The fat, middle-aged man stared at Uvogin, his expression shifting.

“You lunatic!”

Nobunaga’s opponent also wielded a sword, and their fighting styles were remarkably similar.

“Renn, are we really not going to help them?”

“Not yet. If we interfere now, they might genuinely get angry.” Renn tossed the short man’s corpse into the Disassembler.

“Let’s collect the spoils instead.”

That was simply how Enhancers were.

“Okay.”

The first things Renn collected were the corpses scattered across the battlefield.

Several of them had been Nen users.

They weren’t particularly powerful, but they could still increase Renn’s Nen Mastery to some extent.

They also possessed varying degrees of skill with firearms and bladed weapons.

After that came Victor’s collection.

An entire room was filled with things Victor had accumulated.

“Gyo!”

A sword immediately caught Renn’s attention.

It carried a powerful trace of Nen.

Beside it was another sword that looked even better made, but contained no Nen whatsoever.

“This Nen-infused sword can serve as equipment for the Slayer Character panel.”

“And I can give the other one to Nobunaga.”

“In terms of materials and craftsmanship, it’s probably far superior to the sword he used before.”

Renn picked up the Nen-infused sword.

“Equip!”

The sword vanished from his hand.

At the same time, a sword icon appeared in the Slayer’s equipment slot.

The Slayer’s attack attributes immediately increased.

Renn also found a teapot and a gold watch.

Other than those, there were no more Nen-infused items.

Renn tossed the teapot into the Disassembler and kept the gold watch.

There wasn’t much Nen attached to the watch.

Renn began clearing out large amounts of space in his Inventory.

The first slot held Clear Cube Fragments.

The second held biscuits.

The third held apples.

The fourth held water.

After that, Renn took out everything else—whether it was food or the luxury goods he and Machi had collected earlier.

Compared to the things in Victor’s collection, those items simply weren’t worth keeping.

Soon, all forty Inventory slots were completely full.

On top of that, they had also found a considerable amount of Jenny in cash.

Renn and Machi emerged carrying two large bags.

Nobunaga’s fight was already nearing its end.

Several wounds had appeared on Nobunaga’s body.

But his opponent was in far worse condition.

A deep gash stretched across the thin man’s chest, so deep that the bone beneath was almost visible.

Had the blade gone even slightly deeper, it would have cut into his heart.

“Quick Draw!”

One flash.

“Shhk!”

The thin man collapsed heavily to the ground.

Only after confirming that his opponent was dead did Nobunaga walk over to the wall and sit down.

Everyone’s attention shifted toward Uvogin and the fat man.

The fat man had already begun to fear Uvogin.

Not because of Uvogin’s strength.

But because of his attitude.

He was like a rabid dog.

Even after being injured so badly that he was on the verge of death, he still kept throwing himself forward with everything he had.

The fat man punched Uvogin in the face.

Several of Uvogin’s teeth flew out as he spat a mouthful of blood.

But Uvogin immediately turned his head back and answered with a punch of his own.

To the fat man, however, the blow barely hurt.

“You damn lunatic!”

The fat man poured all his strength into a straight punch.

But it missed.

His fist struck nothing.

The fat man stumbled forward and looked down.

Only then did he realize that Uvogin hadn’t dodged. Visit g.com for the full chapter.

Uvogin had simply reached his limit and passed out at the exact moment the punch was thrown.

A vicious expression appeared on the fat man’s face.

He raised one foot.

“Lunatic! Die!”

He prepared to crush Uvogin’s head beneath his heel.

But at that moment, a bullet struck him.

“Rising Shot!”

The fat man’s body was forcibly launched into the air.

Renn walked toward him one step at a time.

“You want to kill one of my team members? Did you ask me, the captain, first?”

Renn aimed the gun directly at the fat man’s head.

Fear appeared on the man’s face.

“You can’t kill me.”

“Our boss won’t let you get away with this!”

Renn’s expression remained indifferent.

“I already killed his own brother. What makes you think you matter?”

He pulled the trigger.

“Bang!”

The fat man dropped to the ground.

Renn threw both the thin man’s and the fat man’s corpses into the Disassembler.

“Activate—Priest.”

Renn walked over to Uvogin and held a hand above his head.

Healing energy flowed into Uvogin’s body.

His injuries began recovering at a speed visible to the naked eye.

Renn then walked over to Nobunaga.

“This is your sword.”

Nobunaga’s eyes lit up.

He immediately took it, drew the blade, and watched as cold light flashed along its edge.

“Captain, thanks.”

Nobunaga was clearly very satisfied with it.

“Don’t move yet. I’ll heal you first.”

Renn extended his hand toward Nobunaga.

“Slow Heal.”

A green glow wrapped itself around Nobunaga’s wounds.

Uvogin opened his eyes and froze.

“I’m not dead? Where’s that fat bastard?”
