“Just a severed arm by itself is enough to make me sense danger. Whoever this arm belonged to must have been extraordinary.”

“If I disassemble it, the rewards definitely won’t be small.”

Renn hesitated for a moment, then found a wooden stick and stabbed it toward the severed arm.Full novel: Hunter x Hunter: I Grow Stronger by Disassembling Everything — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

But the arm was astonishingly tough.

The stick struck it as though it had hit solid steel.

Instead of being alarmed, Renn was delighted.

“Even after death, it still has such incredible durability and defense. The owner of this arm must have been an extremely powerful Nen user.”

“Hopefully, this severed arm will push my Nen Fundamentals past 100%.”

If one stick wasn’t enough, he would use two.

Holding the pair like chopsticks, Renn carefully picked up the severed arm and tossed it into the Disassembler.

“Nen Fundamentals progress has reached 100%. Upgrading to Nen Mastery. Current progress: 3%.”

An enormous torrent of information flooded into Renn’s mind.

It was far greater than what he had experienced when his Firearms and Combat skills advanced to the mastery level.

The sheer volume of information made his head throb with pain.

“Ten!”

“Ren!”

“Zetsu!”

“Gyo!”

“Hatsu!”

With a sudden jolt, Renn snapped back to reality, his face pale.

Only an instant had passed in the outside world.

But to Renn, what he had just experienced felt as though several years had gone by.

“After my Nen skill reached the mastery level, I instantly completed the process of opening my aura nodes, and I’ve mastered all the fundamental applications of Nen.”

“Ten, Ren, Gyo, Zetsu, and Hatsu.”

“According to the principles of Nen, everyone’s Hatsu is different. It depends on what a person truly desires deep within their heart.”

“I wonder what mine will be?”

Renn closed his eyes.

Aura gathered in front of him.

“Hatsu!”

His eyes snapped open.

Eight panels resembling game interfaces appeared before him.

One was an Inventory panel, consisting of five rows and eight columns for a total of forty slots.

The remaining seven were Character panels.

Each displayed a character model and equipment slots on the left, along with level and attributes, while a skill tree occupied the right side.

Slayer.

Fighter.

Agent.

Lancer.

Mage.

Priest.

Every character was Level 10.

All the equipment slots were empty.

The skill trees remained unactivated.

“Judging by this ability, I should be a Specialist, and my Hatsu consists of these eight panels.”

“The Inventory panel is essentially a dimensional storage space, similar to the spatial rings so beloved by countless transmigrators, except mine works more like an actual game inventory.”

“The Character panels are what I’ll truly use in battle.”

“Whichever Character panel I activate, I’ll gain that character’s abilities.”

“I can only use one Character panel at a time.”

“Their levels, equipment, and skills all need to be developed, collected, and configured by me.”

“This ability is somewhat similar to Kite’s. Kite’s ability lets him draw different weapons, with each weapon possessing a different function. Mine, on the other hand, gives me different game characters.”

“But compared to Kite’s ability, mine clearly has much greater potential.”

“Then I’ll call this ability the DNF Panel.”

Renn collected his thoughts.

This Nen ability almost seemed like a case of making up for what his cheat system lacked.

The system had only granted Renn the secondary profession of Disassembler.

It hadn’t given him a main class.

Renn’s Nen ability, however, had filled that gap all at once by giving him seven main classes.

He could use whichever one he wanted.

Compared to the system itself, this Nen ability born from Renn’s own Hatsu seemed even better suited to him.

With a thought, the Disassembler disappeared.

“The most important thing right now isn’t studying my ability. It’s gathering supplies.”

“Now that I have the Inventory panel, I can collect things several times faster than everyone else.”

Renn looked around.

“Food comes first.”

“They have relatively long shelf lives and don’t spoil easily.”

After becoming a true Nen user, Renn discovered that his speed, strength, reflexes, and even eyesight had improved many times over.

With a single glance, he could immediately pick out which items were valuable.

“Next comes luxury goods.”

Ordinary residents of Meteor City couldn’t afford luxuries.

But no matter how impoverished a place was, there would always be some wealthy people who no longer had to struggle merely to survive or find food.

They had already reached the stage where they could pursue comfort and enjoyment.

Naturally, luxury goods would appeal to them.

Renn could trade such things for valuable resources.

“After that, items containing Nen.”

Renn focused aura into his eyes.

“Gyo!”

But he found nothing.

There were no items carrying aura nearby.

Renn released Gyo.

“I’m getting too greedy.”

“My gains this time have already been enormous.”

“My Firearms, Combat, and Nen skills have all reached the mastery level.”

“In terms of overall strength, I’m probably dozens of times stronger than I was before.”

Renn checked his Inventory.

All forty slots were already full.

Food occupied most of them.

Identical items could be stacked within the same slot, but this was a garbage heap, and the food Renn had collected came in all different varieties.

In addition to everything stored in his Inventory, Renn was carrying two bags in his hands.

“I should go find Machi. It’s time to leave.”

Carrying the bags, Renn headed toward Machi’s location.

Suddenly, the sound of fighting reached his ears.

Renn’s pupils contracted.

More than a dozen people had surrounded Machi.

Beside her was a pile of supplies nearly half a person tall.

It was obvious that the group had set their sights on everything Machi had collected.

“Machi!”

Hearing Renn’s voice, Machi’s face lit up with relief.

“Renn, hurry! They’re trying to steal our supplies!”
