Suddenly, the door was blasted away by tremendous force, and a figure rushed inside.

It was a woman. Her hair was disheveled, her eyes glowed red, and her originally delicate face was twisted beyond recognition.

When she saw Qin Hao, she shouted fiercely at him, “die!”

The moment her words fell, she was already in front of Qin Hao, reaching out to grab his throat.

Her hand was just about to touch Qin Hao’s neck.

At that moment, Qin Hao shouted at her, “Liu Fang! Tiantian is about to die!”

The next instant, the woman’s hand clamped around Qin Hao’s neck, but she did not exert any force.

She stared at Qin Hao, the red light in her eyes flickering continuously. “What did you say?”

Qin Hao looked straight into her eyes. “I said, Tiantian is about to die!”

“Tiantian…” The woman froze, and the red light in her eyes began to flicker violently. But then, her hand gradually tightened as she roared furiously at Qin Hao, “Tiantian is dead! Tiantian is already dead!”

The woman was named Liu Fang. She had once had a sweet and lively daughter named Tiantian, but Tiantian had been brutally murdered. Thus, Liu Fang embarked on a path of revenge, staining her hands with blood until she eventually ended up here.

Qin Hao’s throat was clutched, and his face instantly flushed red. But he did not panic. Instead, he said:

“No. Although her body is dead, her soul is still here, right beside you.”

Liu Fang looked around, but all she saw was garbage scattered across the floor.

“You’re lying to me!” Liu Fang shouted at him.

“I’m not lying. She’s wearing a pink dress, with a bow on her head, and she’s holding a rabbit plush toy in her arms!” Qin Hao’s face was gradually turning purple, but he still showed no sign of panic.

Liu Fang froze when she heard this, because the outfit Qin Hao described was Tiantian’s favorite.

Seeing her hesitate, Qin Hao struck while the iron was hot:

“She told me that this rabbit was the birthday gift you gave her. She liked it more than anything.”

Upon hearing this, Liu Fang’s expression changed drastically. She released him and spun around frantically, crying out in grief:

“Tiantian, Mommy’s here! Mommy’s here! Come out and see Mommy, all right?”

Qin Hao was right. That rabbit plush toy was indeed the birthday gift she had given Tiantian, as well as Tiantian’s favorite toy.

Qin Hao supported himself against the wall and took several deep breaths. If this had continued for a few more seconds, he would have gone into shock.

Fortunately, he had succeeded.

He looked at Liu Fang and said with a cough, “She’s right beside you. Unfortunately, your eyes have long been blinded by hatred and blood, so you can’t see her at all. She has also become extremely weak because of you, and she’s about to truly die.”

“No, Tiantian, you can’t die!” Liu Fang cried out sorrowfully. She spun around and came before Qin Hao, seized him by the collar, and roared at him, “If you can see her, then you must be able to save her! Save her quickly, or I’ll kill you!”

“Liu Fang! Don’t you understand? You’re the one who caused her to become like this! And now, you’re the only one who can save her!” Qin Hao said.

“I’m the one who hurt her?” Liu Fang froze, and the red light in her eyes began flickering violently once again.

“Yes! You are!” At that moment, Qin Hao suddenly raised his voice and stared fixedly into her eyes. “Tiantian’s body is indeed dead, but her soul remains. Her soul is pure and untainted. With a little guidance, the two of you can still meet again and renew your bond as mother and daughter!”

“But what about you? You’ve been consumed by anger and hatred, and your entire body is filled with savagery, madness, blood, and slaughter! These filthy things are constantly eroding Tiantian’s pure and untainted soul! You’re the one who has made her weaker step by step. You’re the one who’s about to make her soul scatter and perish!”

Liu Fang released him. Qin Hao’s words struck her heart like a heavy hammer, causing her mind and spirit to tremble violently as dizziness overtook her.

She retreated several steps in a daze before collapsing to the ground. The red light vanished from her eyes, and tears poured down her face. “I’m sorry, Tiantian. Mommy hurt you. Mommy hurt you!”

At that moment, she was no longer a crazed four-star prisoner, but a lonely and helpless mother.

Qin Hao crouched beside her and handed her a tissue. “Don’t cry. Although Tiantian is extremely weak, she can still be saved.”

Liu Fang abruptly raised her head. She grabbed Qin Hao’s hand and pleaded, “Please, save Tiantian! As long as you can save Tiantian, I’ll do anything you ask.”

“Whether she can be saved depends on you. I can only provide the method,” Qin Hao said.

“Tell me. I’ll do exactly as you say!” Liu Fang hurriedly replied.

“Tiantian’s soul is being eroded by the sin you’ve brought upon her. So saving her is simple: cleanse the sin. In addition, you must not accumulate any new sin.”

“But how can I cleanse the sin?” Liu Fang asked.

“First, do no evil. No more killing, hurting people, or causing destruction! Can you do that?” Qin Hao asked.

“Yes! I can! I definitely can!” Liu Fang nodded heavily.

“Second, do more good deeds and accumulate virtue. Every act of kindness will wash away some sin, even something as simple as giving up your seat for someone out of goodwill,” Qin Hao continued.

“All right! I’ll definitely do more good deeds!” Liu Fang nodded again.

“Third, cultivate your character and nurture your temperament. Stay away from savagery, anger, hatred, madness, and other negative emotions. You must not allow such emotions to control you.”

“I—I’ll try.” Liu Fang hesitated. Her condition was severe, and many times she simply could not control herself.

“As for the third point, I can help you. If you can talk with Tiantian every day, it should aid your recovery,” Qin Hao said.

Liu Fang nodded vigorously, her eyes filled with excitement and joy. If she could talk with Tiantian every day, how could she possibly go mad?

“However, Tiantian is extremely weak right now and cannot go anywhere. She’ll be staying here with me for the time being. If you want to talk with her, come here.” Qin Hao stood up and extended his hand toward her.

Liu Fang glanced at him, grabbed his hand, and stood up.

“Thank you. Can I come often?” she asked cautiously.

“Sure, but only if I’m free. If someone else is here, you’ll have to wait a while.” Qin Hao nodded.

“Okay! No problem!” Liu Fang nodded vigorously.

Qin Hao suddenly tilted his head and assumed a listening posture.

Liu Fang immediately grew nervous. “What did Tiantian say?”

Qin Hao nodded. “Mm. She’s apologizing to me on your behalf. She says she damaged my door and disturbed me while I was cleaning the room.”

“I’m sorry! I’ll find a way to put the door back on for you. I’ll also help you clean the room.” Liu Fang immediately offered.

Qin Hao glanced at her and pointed toward the large pile of broken bricks in the corner. “Help me clear those out first.”

“Okay!” Liu Fang immediately nodded and went to the corner to help Qin Hao move the bricks.

Just then, two figures came sprinting over. One was naturally Chen Shengnan, while the other was warden Wang Ling, who had just left.

They hurried over, only to see Liu Fang moving bricks. Both of them widened their eyes, their faces filled with bewilderment.
