“Uh…

so, just because of that sword of yours, these Thalmor Justiciars set an ambush for you, captured you, and interrogated you about where it came from?” “Yeah.

I only know that the sword belonged to my mother, but I…Full novel: I Became the Dragonborn, So Why Am I a Girl? — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

I’ve never met her.” “At least your head is still clear, not bad!” Sio stood on her tiptoes, reaching up as high as she could to pat the man’s head.

Given the height difference between them, it was quite an effort.

Through their brief exchange, Sio had learned a fair amount about this male prisoner.

For instance, his name was Kaye, and the reason he had been locked in this abandoned prison…

“I know I shouldn’t keep troubling you, but…” Before Kaye could finish, Sio casually picked up an empty bottle and stuffed it into his mouth.

“What’s all this talk about trouble!” A mischievous smile played on the girl’s face as she looked up like a little beast teasing its prey.

“You said it yourself—there’s only one Thalmor left in the prison!

As long as we team up, we can take him down easily!” “You have a plan?” “I have plenty of plans.

Here, take this.” Sio shoved the Imperial Steel Sword into Kaye’s hands.

“You’re built so sturdy, you must know how to use a sword, right?

When I shout, you just charge in~” Sio squinted one eye and mimicked a thrusting motion—given her height and build, thrusting was indeed more efficient than slashing.

“Actually, I’m better with two-handed weapons.” Kaye took the sword and gave it a few test swings.

Thanks to Sio’s healing earlier, most of his strength had returned.

His intuition told him that he should trust this quirky girl in front of him.

Gesticulating to Kaye, Sio crouched low and slipped into the shadows, creeping stealthily toward the upper level of the prison.

Her petite frame was perfect for concealment, and her light weight ensured she didn’t make much noise.

Creeping up the stairs, she could already see the back of the Thalmor Justiciar.

Even through the black-and-gold robes, the characteristically slender silhouette of a high elf was obvious.

Was his name เซริลเลียน?

Sio had never been good at remembering these tongue-twisting Elven names.

The guy seemed to be writing a letter, making it the perfect time for a sneak attack…

But she wasn’t the one who should be making the sneak attack.

Whether with weapons or magic, she couldn’t guarantee a one-hit kill.

So, what she needed to do was…

“Hey!

Piss-skin, do you recognize your lady here?” Sio casually picked up a stone and threw it at เซริลเลียน, revealing herself with swagger.

“Who’s there?” เซริลเลียน turned around instantly, alert.

Had a prisoner escaped?

But that was clearly a dainty female voice, and the prisoner they had captured was a grown man!

Appearing before him was a petite girl with white hair.

Not an Imperial, and certainly not a Nord.

เซริลเลียน sensed a “scent” from her that was both familiar and loathsome to him.

“You mixed-blood mongrel…!” Rather than wondering where this Breton brat had come from, the fury of having his dignity insulted took precedence.

Crimson magic condensed in his palm, and the flames transformed into a blazing bolt of fire that shot toward Sio.

But the girl didn’t dodge or flinch; the Firebolt struck her directly in the face.

For a moment, the erupting flames outshone everything else, leaving เซริลเลียน unable to see Sio’s condition.

Since it hit her square in the face, she would be disfigured if not dead.

“So hot, so hot—!” Sio practically screamed, yet there wasn’t a hint of pain in her voice; instead, it was filled with excitement and triumph.

As the girl’s body fell backward, เซริลเลียน hurried to manifest a second Firebolt, but a burly figure had already charged up from below the stairs.

The blade in his hand pierced straight through เซริลเลียน’s chest, the powerful force nearly pinning him to the wall.

เซริลเลียน’s eyes widened, and a hiss of shock and disbelief escaped his lips.

…He should have kept one hand free for Barrier Magic.

Kaye grabbed a dagger from the table and slashed เซริลเลียน’s throat.

Blood sprayed out; the high elf was clearly finished.

“Sio…!” “Don’t worry, I’m perfectly fine~” Kaye called out Sio’s name anxiously, only to see her standing up and dusting off her clothes, smiling like a cat that had successfully stolen a treat.

A faint blue light shimmered around her body, and there wasn’t a single burn mark on her.

“Is the Breton Dragonskin magic really this powerful…?” “Not necessarily, I just have a secret weapon~” Kaye breathed a sigh of relief, while Sio playfully tossed her hair and made a shushing gesture in front of her lips.

With the lone Thalmor guard dead, Kaye took the keys from เซริลเลียน and opened the locked chest in the room.

His confiscated sword and gear were inside, along with…

a set of exquisite women’s clothing.

One could tell from the fabric alone that it was worth a fortune.

Such delicate and fine material was rarely seen in Skyrim; it looked more like the style of High Rock or Cyrodiil.

“This is obviously mine~” Sio peeked curiously from behind Kaye and reached for the clothes in the chest.

Ho ho ho, I even get newbie gear?

How extra.

With no regard for the gender difference between them, Sio casually cast aside her ragged prison clothes and began trying on the outfit.

…It wasn’t as if he’d never seen such a scene before.

Kaye simply sighed and silently began donning his armor, paying no mind to the girl immersed in her joy.

No girl would refuse a beautiful, well-fitting dress, and Sio was no exception.

…Especially since she could see the “attributes” of these clothes.

Well, while the defensive performance was mediocre, they provided bonuses like reducing mana costs and increasing mana regeneration, just like mage gear in a game.

“All changed!

Well, what do you think?

Give me a review~” Even with the complicated dress and skirt, putting them on was simpler and faster than donning armor.

Holding the hem of her skirt with both hands, Sio spun around, her eyes sparkling with anticipation—it seemed she had completely embraced her role as a young girl.

It was a slim-fitting shirt adorned with shimmering silver patterns, and the puffy bubble sleeves at the shoulders made her shoulder line look exceptionally light.

The plush cloak with a fur collar was a color as deep as the night sky, fastened at the center of her collarbone with a snowflake-shaped silver brooch.

Even while walking in frigid Skyrim, it would provide the girl with both warmth and elegance.

A black waist cincher cinched her slender waist, while the inner ruffled petticoat featured embroidered rose borders that complemented the white stockings tightly hugging her shapely legs.

“It’s very pretty, it suits you well.

It clearly wasn’t cheap.” Kaye nodded to Sio and gave her a thumbs up.

“Maybe I’m the young lady of some court in High Rock~ Eh, I was hoping for a more flowery compliment…” Sio chuckled, pulling her cloak tighter like a little fox and winking secretly at Kaye.

“Maybe…?” Kaye couldn’t help but scratch his head.

“That’s right, because I have amnesia!” Sio put her hands on her hips and proudly puffed out her chest.

“Aside from the knowledge in my head and this name, I can’t remember anything else!” “That’s not exactly something to be proud of…” Looking at Sio’s earnest expression, Kaye could only shake his head with a helpless smile.

Well, at least…

they could now escape this prison together.
