The disciples of the Heavenly Mystic Sect were extremely nervous—Qin Yun had somehow slipped into their group, and more surprisingly, the elders said nothing.

Could it be… the elders had decided to let the Young Master participate in the flag contest?

The Young Master was only at the 7th stage Qi Refining Realm. Entering the battlefield would definitely be dangerous.

“Everyone, protect the Young Master no matter what,” the eldest senior brother instructed. As for seizing flags—they had to abandon that idea. At this point, it was just about accompanying Qin Yun for fun.

“You all go do what you need to do. Don’t worry about me,” Qin Yun said with a smile.

The disciples forced a bitter smile. Don’t worry about him? He was the Young Master of their sect—how could they possibly ignore him?

Crack!

The fifth entrance opened.

Qin Yun stepped in immediately. The Heavenly Mystic Sect disciples rushed after him, surrounding him tightly. Each one looked tense and alert.

At that moment, disciples from the Silver Moon Sect entered through the fourth entrance. Seeing Qin Yun encircled by Heavenly Mystic Sect disciples, they were stunned.

Qin Yun actually came to compete for flags?

That Sect-Protected Man and so-called trash—wasn’t he afraid of dying?

Up on the viewing platform, those from the various sects watching the event wore astonished expressions. Of course, they recognized Qin Yun, but none of them expected him to actually participate in the Ten Sect Assembly.

Just then, Murong Bo from the Myriad Beasts Sect arrived with his team through the first entrance.

The Silver Moon Sect disciples instantly realized Murong Bo and the others were targeting the Heavenly Mystic Sect, most likely Qin Yun himself.

“That Sect-Protected Man shouldn’t have come.”

“Probably just came to mess around, but didn’t expect Murong Bo and his crew to target the Heavenly Mystic Sect. Looks like neither he nor those disciples will walk out alive.”

Aside from a few who felt a hint of sympathy, most looked on mockingly.

As Murong Bo and his people closed in, the Heavenly Mystic Sect disciples grew more tense. Though their numbers were roughly equal, the strength and presence of the Myriad Beasts Sect far outmatched theirs.

Worse, they had to protect Qin Yun and couldn’t scatter.

Otherwise, they could’ve split up the moment Murong Bo approached, and at least some would’ve survived.

Instead, the disciples clustered together, shielding Qin Yun in the very center.

“Kneel! Leave behind an arm, and I might consider sparing you,” Murong Bo said, gesturing arrogantly toward the Heavenly Mystic Sect disciples.

Ranked first on the Luo City Earth Rankings, his words only added to their pressure.

Lin Huaiyue stood behind Murong Bo, lips curled in a cold sneer. Though she recognized most of the Heavenly Mystic Sect disciples and had spoken to them before, so what? They now served different masters.

Besides, these trash from the Heavenly Mystic Sect had no right to associate with her.

Suddenly, her gaze fixed on the center of the disciples—there was a familiar face.

Qin Yun?

Shock appeared on Lin Huaiyue’s face. She examined him closely.

It was definitely Qin Yun.

Why would that trash be in here?

Her heart surged with joy. She had expected to wait a long time before dealing with Qin Yun herself, but he had willingly walked into the Ten Sect Assembly.

No—he was walking to his death.

“Qin Yun!” Lin Huaiyue pointed at him, excited.

“Protect the Young Master!” the eldest senior brother shouted. Find the original chapter at g.com.

The disciples instantly tightened their formation, firmly shielding Qin Yun in the center.

Murong Bo and the others smirked.

The Silver Moon Sect disciples watching from afar shook their heads. They had heard of Qin Yun but didn’t think he’d be this ridiculous.

Did he not know what kind of place the Ten Sect Assembly was?

It was a battlefield for flag-seizing and bloodshed.

As a known weakling, he should’ve stayed outside to watch. Now look what happened.

The disciples of the Heavenly Mystic Sect were being dragged down with him.

Forget about seizing flags—if they walked out alive, that would already be a miracle.

“A piece of trash will always be trash. Even in the battlefield, you need a bunch of people to protect you. I really don’t understand why you came. Planning to die?” Lin Huaiyue mocked coldly.

The disciples of the Myriad Beasts Sect burst into laughter.

Other sect disciples also sneered openly.

“No, I’m not here to seize flags,” Qin Yun shook his head.

“You don’t look like you’re here for that either. Probably came to die. But I’ll give you one chance—crawl over here, lick the mud off my shoes clean, and I might spare you some pain and give you a swift death,” Murong Bo pointed at him.

Qin Yun couldn’t be bothered to reply. He dashed toward Murong Bo.

A tearing gust followed—Qin Yun instantly appeared in front of Murong Bo and delivered a punch.

A deafening explosion erupted.

Everyone’s ears rang sharply.

Then, they saw Murong Bo fly backward, crashing into three massive trees before slamming into the ground. His chest was crushed in, bones shattered, blood pouring from his mouth.

Silence.

Everyone froze.

Murong Bo, the top of the Luo City Earth Rankings, was heavily injured.

And he was taken down with a single punch—from the so-called Sect-Protected Man, the useless Qin Yun.

Impossible…

Lin Huaiyue’s face turned pale, her lips trembling, her eyes full of disbelief.

No way.

Absolutely impossible.

Senior Brother Murong was number one on the Earth Rankings. How could Qin Yun, that useless trash, possibly injure him?

This had to be a dream!

She shut her eyes and opened them again.

Qin Yun still stood there. Murong Bo was lying on the ground, still coughing blood.

It was real!

Lin Huaiyue trembled uncontrollably.

Qin Yun—a waste—how did he suddenly become such a powerful cultivator?

She had spent two years with Qin Yun and knew better than anyone what kind of person he was. He was nothing but trash.

“He must still be trash. He probably used some kind of treasure. That’s it. It has to be a treasure. It’s not his real strength,” Lin Huaiyue reassured herself, forcing composure. Her gaze toward Qin Yun was now filled with hatred and disdain. Get faster updates on g.com.

A trash who relied on external help would always be trash, no matter how strong he appeared.

“I already said—I’m not here to seize flags. I’m here to kill.” Qin Yun stomped on Murong Bo’s throat.

“You dare!”

“Stop right now!” The two leading elders from the Myriad Beasts Sect roared from the platform.

Murong Bo stared at Qin Yun with venom in his eyes. He was the senior brother of the Myriad Beasts Sect—Qin Yun wouldn’t dare kill him. He had been humiliated today, but he’d pay it back eventually.

Suddenly, Qin Yun pressed down hard with his foot.

Crack!

Murong Bo’s spine shattered. He stared blankly at Qin Yun, unable to believe it—Qin Yun had really killed him… in public.

Lin Huaiyue and the others stood frozen in place. No one expected Qin Yun to actually kill Murong Bo.

“You’ll die for this!” The two leading elders from the Myriad Beasts Sect leapt into the arena.

“What do you think you’re doing?” The Grand Elder and others from the Heavenly Mystic Sect blocked their way.

“Your people killed our sect’s number one Holy Son! You owe the Myriad Beasts Sect an explanation!” the tall, skinny elder growled.

“Explanation? Why should we give you one?”

“This is a battlefield. It’s a place where anything goes. If your Holy Son died by our Young Master’s hand, it just means he wasn’t strong enough.”

The Second Elder lifted his chin, face glowing with pride.

Today was incredibly satisfying!

The Myriad Beasts Sect had always bullied the Heavenly Mystic Sect. Just a few days ago, the Beastmaster even brought people to surround their sect and took Lin Huaiyue away.

The Second Elder and the others had been holding in their anger for days.

Now that Qin Yun had killed Murong Bo, all that pent-up fury had been released. They felt wonderfully refreshed.

“Elders are not allowed to enter the arena. If you step in, you’re breaking the rules.”

“If you enter, then we’ll enter too.”

“If you so much as touch one hair on our disciples, we’ll pluck every hair off yours!”

The Grand Elder and the others surrounded the two elders from the Myriad Beasts Sect.

Their faces darkened like the bottom of a pot.

In a real fight, they couldn’t beat the elders of the Heavenly Mystic Sect—not when there were eleven of them.

The Grand Elder and his group stared them down with fierce glares, clearly waiting for them to make a move so they could gang up and retaliate.

The two elders exchanged a look—and could only retreat.

But thinking of Murong Bo’s death still tore at their hearts. He wasn’t just any disciple—he was the top of the Luo City Earth Rankings, the Holy Son of the Myriad Beasts Sect.

Let Qin Yun go? Never!

Qin Yun must die!

Not just to avenge Murong Bo, but because he had grown far too powerful. He now posed a threat to the Myriad Beasts Sect. If allowed to grow further, he would become their greatest calamity.

“For killing our sect’s Holy Son, our Myriad Beasts Sect will never coexist with your Heavenly Mystic Sect!”

“All disciples of the Myriad Beasts Sect, listen up! Join forces—kill Qin Yun!” the tall, skinny elder ordered.

One person might not be enough—but nineteen together? They were sure they could kill him!
