The disciples of the Myriad Beasts Sect immediately responded to the command. They quickly drew their weapons and formed a triangular attack formation. Lin Huaiyue’s eyes were filled with coldness. No matter how powerful Qin Yun was, could he possibly take on all the disciples of the Myriad Beasts Sect alone?

She drew her sword—it was the one Qin Yun had gifted her back then. While it wasn’t a top-tier weapon, it was still of fine quality. Today, she would use it to kill Qin Yun!

As the disciples of the Myriad Beasts Sect charged forward, the senior disciples of the Heavenly Mystic Sect roared, “Everyone prepare to fight! Protect the Young Master with your lives!”Full novel: I Become Invincible After the Fairy’s Embrace — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

In an instant, the disciples quickly gathered to form a protective wall around Qin Yun.

“All of you, stay where you are!” Qin Yun ordered as he removed the heavy sword strapped to his back. He had brought this specifically for today—it weighed over 50 kilograms. Because of its massive size, the sword was designed to fold in on itself.

While folded, it didn’t seem large. But when Qin Yun fully unfolded it, the watching crowd was stunned. Was this even a sword? It was broad and thick, even bigger than a horse-slaying saber.

Qin Yun gripped the sword in one hand.

With the constant nourishment from the Swallowing Heaven Divine Veins, his physical body had grown incredibly powerful. Wielding a 50-kilogram sword was effortless for him.

Kill!

Qin Yun stepped into Windshadow Footwork.

Air ripped apart behind him as afterimages appeared one after another.

The Grand Elder and others watching were stunned.

Extreme-level Windshadow Footwork!

Qin Yun had actually mastered it to the extreme level!

Qin Yun, surrounded by shifting shadows, swept his massive sword in a horizontal slash. The sword, weighing over 50 kilograms, seemed to vanish. The sharp whistling of cutting wind rang out.

The three Myriad Beasts Sect disciples at the front hadn’t even reacted before their bodies were split in half. The powerful force sent half of their torsos flying, smashing into the unprepared disciples behind them.

Chaos erupted.

Qin Yun leapt high into the air. With his true qi surging, he brought his heavy sword crashing down from above.

Boom!

The ground shook violently.

The Myriad Beasts Sect disciples were sent flying, screams of pain echoing through the battlefield.

Qin Yun charged straight into the crowd of Myriad Beasts Sect disciples, sweeping his heavy sword in wide arcs. The triangular formation was torn apart like paper.

Those less fortunate were killed instantly.

Those lucky enough to survive the first blow were still badly injured—limbs severed, howling in agony on the ground.

Lin Huaiyue stood frozen in place.

Nineteen disciples of the Myriad Beasts Sect had joined forces, yet they had barely engaged Qin Yun before more than half of them were dead or crippled.

Qin Yun held his heavy sword with one hand and charged forward again.

With a powerful slash, he carved a deep trench into the earth.

Was this guy even a cultivator?

How could a cultivator possess such terrifying physical strength?

Such brute force usually only appeared in large demonic beasts—or extremely rare body cultivators.

Could it be… Qin Yun was a body cultivator?

The three remaining disciples of the Myriad Beasts Sect turned and fled. They no longer dared to continue fighting. All of them together couldn’t defeat Qin Yun, and now most of their number had been wiped out.

Lin Huaiyue tried to escape.

But Qin Yun had already appeared in front of her, blocking her path. “We haven’t settled our score, and you want to run?”

Looking at the surging true qi around him, Lin Huaiyue took two steps back in terror.

“I’m now a Holy Son candidate of the Myriad Beasts Sect, and a direct disciple of the Beastmaster. You dare touch me, I dare you…”

Before she could finish, she suddenly pulled out a dagger coated in deadly poison from behind her and lunged at Qin Yun.

Her speed was swift.

But Qin Yun was faster. Before the dagger could reach him, he kicked her hard in the abdomen.

At that moment, Lin Huaiyue finally understood why Murong Bo had been seriously injured by a single punch from Qin Yun.

That kick was terrifying.

Not only did it shatter her internal organs, but even her chest bones were crushed. Her entire body was sent flying into the air, tumbling several times before slamming to the ground.

Qin Yun walked toward her.

“Don’t kill me… I was wrong, Young Master, I was wrong! I won’t do it again!” Lin Huaiyue turned pale, panicking, crawling backward in fear.

“Why don’t you tell me—what exactly did you do wrong?” Qin Yun looked down at her coldly.

“I… I shouldn’t have betrayed you. I shouldn’t have betrayed the Heavenly Mystic Sect. Young Master, please forgive me. I won’t dare again. If you want, I can serve you well later. I’ll do whatever you want, anything at all, alright?” Lin Huaiyue forced a bashful expression through her pain.

“You’re this badly injured, and you still manage to put on that act to please me? That must be exhausting. From the looks of it, you don’t even mean it.”

“Forget it, I’ll send you off myself.”

Qin Yun raised his sword, preparing to kill Lin Huaiyue.

Just then, a cold voice came from the highest platform above, “Don’t kill her. I’ve taken a liking to that woman.”

Lin Huaiyue’s eyes lit up with hope. Although she didn’t know who the person was, anyone seated beside the City Lord had to be someone important.

She was saved.

Once she was rescued…

Her eyes flickered with cold hatred. The humiliation today—she would make Qin Yun pay back a hundredfold one day.

Suddenly, the heavy sword slashed down.

But why was her body still down there?

Where was her head?

In that instant, she realized it was her head flying.

At the brink of death, her eyes were filled with regret and unwillingness. Her pupils slowly dilated as her breath faded into nothing…

The young man in the python robe wore a frosty expression as he slowly stood up, looking down from above. “I told you not to kill her. Didn’t you hear me?”

“I heard you.” Qin Yun casually cleaned out his ears.

“If you heard, why did you still kill her? I already said I’ve taken a liking to her. I told you to leave her for me,” the man said coldly.

“You like her, so I should spare her? Let her keep targeting me and disgusting me? Who do you think you are to give me orders here?” Qin Yun shot him a sideways glance.

The python-robed man froze. He hadn’t expected Qin Yun to speak to him with such a tone.

City Lord Xu gave Qin Yun a surprised glance. He hadn’t expected Qin Yun to be this arrogant either.

But thinking it over—it made sense. Qin Yun had been protected by the elders of the Heavenly Mystic Sect all his life, hiding his strength all the while. Now, after defeating the entire younger generation of the Myriad Beasts Sect, some arrogance was natural.

But his vision was clearly lacking. Offending the python-robed man would bring trouble.

“A lowly brute from Luo City… Do you really think just because you can crush your peers here, no one can do anything to you?” the python-robed man sneered as he leapt into the battlefield.

“Protect the Young Master!” the Grand Elder and others rushed forward.

But an old woman in a violet robe floated in midair and blocked them. A barrier of energy formed before her, cutting them off.

The elders’ expressions darkened. They realized they were facing someone far stronger.

“Alert the ancestor immediately!” the Grand Elder signaled to the Second Elder.

“Understood.”

The Second Elder quickly tossed a crimson thunder pearl into the sky. It exploded in midair.

The Grand Elder and the others struck the barrier with full force.

Boom!

The barrier trembled slightly.

The violet-robed old woman looked at them with scorn.

Seeing that they couldn’t shake the barrier, the elders began to panic.

When they saw the innate true qi rising under the python-robed man’s feet as he landed, their faces changed instantly.

This man… was an Innate Realm cultivator!
