Jia Xin winked at Bai Ruo, who nodded at her to begin her act. Jia Xin shook her body hard and roared, "You mindless fools!"

Mo Xuan paused his dancing and knitted his brows. "What is it?" He moved close to her and raised his head coldly. "Do you want to get drained?"

"Yes, Elder, do it," someone from the gang chimed in.Full novel: I Cultivate My Master's Fake Techniques — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

The rest glared at the slender body of Jia Xin with hungry eyes.

"We should drink."

"I wonder how her blood would taste."

"Elder, why are we waiting?"

Jia Xin didn’t even get time to reply, while the Blood Fiend Sect members felt they had a delicious dish yet couldn’t eat it.

"Understand your situation." Elder Mo Xuan waved his finger at his gang. "Just one word and you’re dead."

"Hm! You planned beforehand to take us down, didn’t you?" Jia Xin shouted and curved her lips into a smile. "We also have our own! Hahaha."

"You’re smiling?" Mo Xuan froze. He quickly went over the details he had acquired about the Myriad Dao Sect. ’A newly formed sect, yet to be registered, with three mortal disciples and a Great Perfection Blood Qi sect master.’

Li Ming was silent. ’I feel something is wrong with Senior Sister’s expression.’

Everyone fell silent, noticing the Elder’s thoughtful look.

Lei Feng mused, ’Master has figured something out?’ He turned his head towards his Master with a wide grin. The sealing talisman’s power on him had reduced. It was just a low-level talisman, which didn’t last for much time.

In his vision, Bai Ruo was calm, as if everything was under control. She even glared at everyone with a sneer.

"Backup?" The Elder hissed. "No, it’s a poor sect. What kind of hidden power would they have?"

Everyone was solemn. A few even walked towards the cave exit, just ready to escape if anything went wrong.

They were just a few steps away.

"Elder, our sect master never misses." A muscular middle-aged man said, stepping forward. His tone was confident. "Just remember, which sect selected by our sect master has ever caused trouble?"

The Blood Fiend Sect members nodded. "Yes, we have devoured more than fifteen to twenty sects yet never encountered any trouble."

Before Elder Mo could confirm, the muscular middle-aged man pointed his index finger at Jia Xin. "Kindly be our blood bag. It’s useless to bluff."

"Yeah!"

"We wouldn’t let our food go."

"Fifteenth Elder, before they cause any trouble, let’s drink their blood."

"Yes, Elder."

"Let’s not cause problems for ourselves."

"Let’s get it done in a few minutes."

Lei Feng shook his head at Jia Xin, opening his mouth. ’Don’t cause any problem.’

By now, he’d figured out Jia Xin’s laugh was an act. After living with his Junior Sister for so long, though he couldn’t read her like a book, he could understand a bit from her face.

Bai Ruo was the same as before, except for her eyes becoming more disdainful and icy, as if the Blood Fiend Sect were digging their own graves.

Mo Xuan leaped up and locked his eyes with the Master-and-disciple duo for a moment in mid-air before landing gently. Noticing their unwavering gazes, he nodded plainly. "Let’s not take a risk."

He moved to Lei Feng and bowed slightly. "Sorry for drinking your blood."

With nimble steps, he picked up his discarded clothes and walked out of the cave under the blinking eyes of everyone.

"Ahhh!" Li Ming exclaimed in surprise. "It’s so easy to get them out?"

It took four seconds for the Blood Fiend Sect to get a reality check. They, too, swiftly dashed out of the cave.

"Wait, Elder Mo!"

"No, you cannot abandon us!"

Mo Xuan and the others, still in their underwear, stormed out of the cave as they left red footprints on the ground.

Bai Ruo, Jia Xin, and Lei Feng didn’t recover even after they hurried out.

Caw! Caw!

A crow broke the silence, entering the cave.

"Quick, try to cut the ropes," Bai Ruo ordered Lei Feng, who was below.

"Yes." Lei Feng stood up with shaky legs. After taking a few steps, he fell to the ground with a thud! and winced. "I’m too weak to stand."

"Damn it!" Jia Xin cursed. "Too useless!"

Bai Ruo sighed. "Let’s wait for your Senior Brother to recover."

"The Blood Recovery Pill will let him regain his strength in a few days," she added.

She grinned. "Don’t worry. Now we’re safe."

"I don’t get it." Li Ming asked, "Why did Elder Mo and the others run away?"

He glanced down at the ground where many clothes were left behind.

"Because they’re afraid," Jia Xin replied. "Isn’t that right, Master?"

Lei Feng was also listening, as they didn’t try to hide anything.

"Yes. The Blood Fiend Sect runs away the moment they feel their lives are at risk." Bai Ruo explained patiently, "Or else, wouldn’t they be dead after killing thousands of people?"

The Blood Fiend Sect had made countless enemies, and they were targets for many self-proclaimed righteous people and those who wanted to gain fame. If they had even the slightest doubt about their target’s power, they would run faster than a rabbit seeing a wolf.

They had excessive caution, and it was what had saved them to this day.

"Let’s hope they don’t return." Bai Ruo prayed as her disciples followed.

"Buddha bless us." Li Ming pleaded.

"They shouldn’t come back." Jia Xin was simple and direct.

"I’ll break you, Heavenly Dao, if they return." Lei Feng threatened the heavens with absolute confidence.

The trio turned to Lei Feng, who couldn’t even stand up, lying flat and powerless on the ground, yet blackmailing... uh, suggesting things to the heavens.

Their mouths hung open wide.

A few hundred metres away.

Mo Xuan stopped, wiped away his sweat, and put on his black robe and hood.

His men took some time to dress up, as there was still blood remaining on them after the blood bath.

Each of them had a storage pouch, hence they had more sets of clothing.

"Elder, why did you run away?" the muscular middle-aged man questioned, narrowing his brows in doubt.

"Si Yin, didn’t I teach you?" Mo Xuan yelled, his face twitching. "Always put safety first."

"Is this why you didn’t directly drain them?" the thin young man inquired in a hoarse voice.

"Yes. Even for poor, weak people, we should check their limits." The Elder said, sighing. "Never force unknown people to their bottom line without testing."

His followers contemplated his words.

"Now, how should we proceed?" Si Yin cupped his hands. "Master, teach us."

"Master, teach us!" Everyone cupped their hands after seeing Si Yin.

"Good." Elder Mo rubbed his dry chin. "It’s actually very simple."

He pulled out a small wooden tube with two holes, one on top and the other on the bottom.

He put it near his mouth and blew air into it.

It was a whistle.
