A few days earlier...

Lei Feng bit his lips and screamed, "Master, save me."

The Myriad Dao Sect gang closed their eyes as the Blood Fiend Sect members slowly walked towards Lei Feng.Full novel: I Cultivate My Master's Fake Techniques — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Bai Ruo gritted her teeth. ’Damn it, I cannot even save my disciples.’ She was trembling in fury. She held the rope that was tied to her hands and the stalactite. She pulled her arms hard, but they didn’t even budge, as the orange sealing binds stopped her from unleashing her strength. Not a single Blood Qi Wisp responded to her.

Jia Xin shed tears as her eyes turned cold. "I’ll definitely avenge you, Senior Brother."

Li Ming tilted his head. "Huh? Senior Sister, First Senior Brother is not going to die."

His words made everyone pause.

Jia Xin yelled, "Idiot, your Senior Brother feels his dignity is worth more than his life."

"What?" Li Ming glanced at the stammering Lei Feng. "I don’t get it."

"Your Senior Brother will kill himself rather than lose his dignity." Bai Ruo said bitterly. She recalled how her disciple would bluntly lie to show off. Each time was an eye-opener for her.

"What!" A medium-build Blood Fiend Sect member hissed. "Everyone, use a sealing talisman quickly."

Lei Feng blinked his eyes. ’Kill myself? Dignity more than life?’ He didn’t even notice a rushing talisman flying towards him. ’When did I give that kind of impression?’

Whoosh!

An orange-coloured rope bound him from top to bottom.

"Let me go." Lei Feng barked. He couldn’t even budge his arms. He was a normal person to begin with. Using a sealing talisman on him? It was overkill!

Bai Ruo and Jia Xin smiled lightly at each other, which seemed to tell him that they had succeeded with their plan.

Li Ming had tears falling from his eyes. "Don’t worry, Senior Brother. Staying alive is more important."

"Indeed, being alive is great," Elder Mo Xuan nodded in approval.

He was in his underwear. He leaped up and, using his palm as a blade, cut the rope.

Thud!

Lei Feng fell to the ground while Mo Xuan landed gently.

"Now, let’s start!" He pivoted and grinned.

Lei Feng couldn’t move. He watched blankly as everyone surrounded him.

Whoosh!

He felt a cold chill on his arm. He moved his eyes to check what was going on.

Elder Mo was tapping a few acupoints on his arm as a large cut was made on his wrist. Huge amounts of blood leaked out. Some fell on the ground.

"Don’t waste it." Mo Xuan grunted. "Someone lick it later."

He took Lei Feng’s hand and placed it in front of his mouth as the blood fell right into it. He drank it in gulps as his body wobbled in joy.

’What!’ Lei Feng’s lips twitched. He shouted internally, ’Just blood drinking? Why did you make such a scene?’

’Senior Brother is fine for now.’ Li Ming took a relieved breath.

"How long do you think he can survive?" A fat guy asked, nudging the person next to him.

The man with the pale face replied, "Since he’s a mortal, I’d say less than ten days."

Elder Mo’s lips curved up as he threw Lei Feng’s hand away. "Not bad. Fresh and tastes like sweet grapes."

He forced open Lei Feng’s mouth and threw in a pill.

’Poison?’ Lei Feng suddenly felt calm. ’It’s not bad to die from poison.’

"What is that, Master?" Jia Xin inquired, raising her brows slightly.

"It seems to be a Level 1 Blood Recovery Pill," Bai Ruo explained, "which helps recover lost blood."

Lei Feng’s face turned paler with each passing moment. In less than ten minutes, everyone had gotten a share of his blood.

"It’s one of the top-notch quality blood." A middle-aged man held his mouth as he savoured it little by little.

Then they all pulled out a big pouch from their storage rings. It reeked of a bloody smell. They opened it, and blood came into view.

They poured the liquid over themselves and began to dance with random movements.

Lei Feng’s expression began to change. He struggled to stop himself from laughing as he watched the Blood Fiend members shaking their bodies while red liquid slid down their skin. ’Even chickens dance better than you all.’

Indeed, he was right. The Blood Fiend Sect members were mostly shaking their butts and stomachs. The fat tummies and the big male arses shaking in front of him were too much of a blow to his mind.

"What kind of movements are those?" Li Ming wanted to remove those memories from his mind.

"Master, how long would it take for you to break out?" Jia Xin whispered. Her voice was low, only loud enough for her Master to hear.

"This talisman seems to have enough energy for an entire week." Bai Ruo groaned. "We need to get more time."

"This current plan alone drained me." Jia Xin lamented.

"We have no chance." Bai Ruo seethed. "They would drain us instantly if we don’t."

Jia Xin’s earlier words about what villains did with beautiful women had been intentional. She had hoped the Blood Fiend Sect would remove the seal from Bai Ruo that way, but they had shocked both her and Bai Ruo by choosing Lei Feng instead.

And seeing things getting out of hand, they came up with a backup plan: they would make the Blood Fiend Sect believe Lei Feng would rather die than lose his honour.

"We don’t know when they would drink our entire blood at once." Bai Ruo sighed. "If only that brat—"

Jia Xin cut her off with a shy, cunning smile. "Master, since Su Yang is strong, why don’t we pull him in?"

"Him? How?" Bai Ruo questioned, tilting her head at Jia Xin.

"Don’t you think it’s astonishing that they caught you, Master?"

Jia Xin’s words were enough as Bai Ruo’s eyes glowed.

"Indeed. It’s almost as if they knew there was such a powerhouse."

The Blood Fiend Sect, as they guessed, was prepared and had come for them. They had long known about their Myriad Dao Sect. The Blood Fiend Sect had been planning this long before Su Yang entered her sect. However, Bai Ruo was too powerful, so they didn’t strike directly.

When she and her gang were escaping after finding Su Yang’s Blood Qi, they were spotted. That’s when they laid traps in multiple places.

What she didn’t know was that she had escaped one without even noticing the sealing talisman. She was just a few steps away from it, but fell into the second one, which was only a few inches away from the previous one.

"That’s what I’m thinking." Jia Xin glared at the Blood Fiend Sect members, who were twisting their arses.

Bai Ruo clicked her tongue. "We should plan quickly."

Lei Feng was now lying in the corner of the cave, his expression dim. His cheeks had sunk deep as if malnourished, and his body was thin, with many bones visible.

However, his body seemed to recover as muscles began to grow, almost visible to the naked eye.

"And Senior Brother wouldn’t last long." Jia Xin wanted to smash something.

Li Ming was just shaking his head. ’Hang in there, Senior Brother. Master will definitely save you.’

’Master, why aren’t you helping?’ Lei Feng mused blankly. He had felt safe because he believed Master would save herself from losing her honour and save them along the way, but he didn’t expect them to turn to him and for things to lead to this.

"I got it, Master." Jia Xin’s eyes had a glint of playfulness.
