Bai Ruo stood up and clenched her fist. "I decided, let’s run."

She then, without waiting for her disciples, took off. She left afterimages.

"Master, wait!" Jia Xin screamed as she ran. The others also started following. But they were too slow to stop Bai Ruo. She was far faster. Jia Xin was next, Li Ming was second, and Lei Feng was third in the line.Full novel: I Cultivate My Master's Fake Techniques — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

After a hundred metres, Bai Ruo stopped. "I forgot about them." She sat down on a nearby rock. "I hope that kid takes a lot of time hunting."

The disciples soon caught up with Bai Ruo as she waved. "Let’s not waste any time."

Just after they covered another hundred or so metres together, a flash of light appeared from below her feet and bound Bai Ruo’s body. She was tied tightly with an orange energy rope. She twisted and struggled against it to break free.

The disciples pivoted to escape, disregarding their master. "Master, you’re a strong... You can save yourself."

Bai Ruo scolded, "You brats! Just wait. I’ll definitely..."

However, before the disciples could move a few metres, thud! A black-robed young man leapt from a tree above them and landed in front of them. The man was fully covered. Even his face was hidden behind a scarf and a hood.

"First Senior Brother, you’re the eldest. Save us!" Jia Xin yelled as she hid behind Lei Feng. Li Ming also hid behind him, but he was taller than him, so he bent down, hoping he wouldn’t be spotted.

Thud! Thud!

"Hahahah, nice prey!" A raspy old voice sounded as many black-robed men, from young to old, jumped from the trees overhead and surrounded the Myriad Dao Sect group. They were all dressed in the same clothes as the young man.

An old man glared deeply into Bai Ruo’s deep purple eyes as he held her chin and smiled. "I didn’t think my trick would catch such a powerful cultivator."

Bai Ruo used all her strength, yet failed to break free. "Just wait. Once I break free, you’re dead!" She could sense that the old man was only at the Minor Perfection of the Blood Qi Realm from the aura he was emitting. She could kill him with one slap.

"Hahaha, you won’t be able to." The man laughed as he pulled his cloak down and removed his scarf.

"You!" Bai Ruo’s eyes widened in shock. "You are the Fifteenth Elder of the Blood Fiend Sect... Mo Xuan."

"You know me?" the old man asked as his dried, old face glowed with a black aura. "It seems my name is well known."

’I’m doomed!’ Bai Ruo fumed internally. ’I’m tied by a Level 1 Bronze Bind, a top-level Level 1 talisman. It easily restrains me.’

She lowered her head bitterly as the old man laughed. "Good. You understand your situation."

Meanwhile, the disciples were trembling. They all held onto Lei Feng, who stood straight. But if anyone were to glance at him from the front, they would notice his eyes had turned white. He had fainted while standing straight long ago.

"Senior Brother, go defeat them!" Jia Xin pushed him while placing her free hand into her storage bag to find anything helpful. But before she could even reach fully into her storage bag, thud! Lei Feng fell to the ground as saliva leaked from his mouth.

"Idiot!" She kicked him on his back.

She turned to Li Ming. He was tying himself up under everyone’s wide eyes. She just blinked. He used ropes from the black-robed members, who kindly lent him one.

"Good, I’m ready now." He nodded at them with a wide smile. "I cannot break free now."

One of the men stepped forward and tried pulling one of the ropes. He stopped after feeling it was strong enough. "Indeed."

The Elder of the Blood Fiend Sect’s crimson eyes turned soft at Li Ming. "I never thought someone would be so enthusiastic to be a blood bag."

He patted his chest. "I’m giving you my guarantee. From now on, you won’t suffer any pain when your blood is taken."

"Blood bag!" Jia Xin’s legs weakened as she fell to her knees.

Bai Ruo sighed. ’Death would be the easy way out here.’

Li Ming swallowed as he felt goosebumps rising under the Elder’s stare.

"Escort them to our hideout." The Tenth Elder waved his hand.

In a certain cave.

Lei Feng opened his eyes and shook his head. His vision was a little blurry. It recovered soon, as he found his hands tied to a stalactite while he was hung with his feet at least a few metres away from the ground. On his right was Bai Ruo, and on his left was Li Ming. Jia Xin was on the right of Bai Ruo.

Lei Feng’s heartbeat rose. He found Blood Fiend Sect members having a feast. They were eating while drinking beer. It was the beer that made him so afraid, as it was pure red...

"Blood." He mumbled as even his fingers began to tremble. He could smell it, though very little.

"Master, save us." He whispered, turning his head.

"Can’t you see?" Bai Ruo gritted her teeth. "I’m still bound by the talisman!"

The orange ropes were still restricting her from using her strength. She was hung like the others, but energy coils were around her entire body. Even if a single arm or leg were free, she would’ve saved herself and her disciples.

"Tch! You should’ve given me a Level 2 talisman at least." Jia Xin grunted, keeping her voice low. "No... even a Level 1 top talisman would’ve done the job now!"

Bai Ruo’s eyes turned wet. "If we survive, next time, I’ll definitely give you a Tier 3 talisman."

In fact, she never gave them powerful talismans above Level 1 Mid, as she felt it was enough. ’The strongest monster in this forest is just at Minor Perfection of Demonic Qi.’

Indeed, she was right. A single Level 1 Mid talisman was enough for them to protect their lives, but she didn’t expect an unfortunate encounter.

’Fool, I let my guard down.’ She cursed herself. In fear of Su Yang, she was more focused on running, hence she was caught by the talisman trap.

"Master, why don’t you take a Level 2 talisman and use it?" Li Ming asked, his eyes brightening with hope. "You can use your storage ring. Your hands are close."

"Tch!" Lei Feng clicked his tongue. "Unlike storage bags, which are made for normal people, a storage ring requires Blood Qi. Master’s power is sealed now."

"Damn." Li Ming scowled.

"Master, is that blood?" Lei Feng inquired, with fear flashing on his face.

"Yes, Blood Fiend Sect!" Bai Ruo explained solemnly. "This sect is just a Level 1 sect, but it wreaked havoc in nearby cities. They like to drain blood, especially from humans."

"That Blood Fiend Sect?" Jia Xin’s voice trembled. "Which killed more than a thousand people so their blood could help its sect master reach the Extreme Limit of the Blood Qi Realm?"

"There is only one Blood Fiend Sect in Willow Province!" Bai Ruo said, which was no less than agreeing.

Everyone swallowed.

"Master, what do you think they’ll do with us now?" Lei Feng questioned as he found them standing up after finishing their food.

"I read in novels that in situations like this, bad guys would do it with women." Jia Xin swallowed. She glanced at her master. "Master would be first, then... me."

She shook, trying to break free. But it was of no use.

Bai Ruo clenched her fists. "Do it? No, no, you’re wrong. Novels wouldn’t be real."

Lei Feng inspected his master. She was otherworldly and beautiful. If her temperament was also great, she could topple kingdoms, but now she was panicking and shaking her head like a chicken.

’No, she doesn’t have such high authority.’ He sighed.

He then turned to his junior sister by pushing himself forward. She wasn’t as well-proportioned as his master, but she was slender and cute. Her demeanour would create an itch in everyone’s heart.

’I’m safe for now.’ He took a breath of relief.

"Not bad. After food, let’s have some fun." A young man with a muscular body stood up. He locked his eyes on the Myriad Dao Sect’s gang and licked his lips.

Others nearby also stood and licked their lips.

"Indeed, you read right, little girl." The young man grinned. "We would just take a few minutes."

He undressed as the others followed.

They had heard a little as Jia Xin couldn’t control her voice in fear.

"AHHH!" Jia Xin screamed. She flung herself around and tried to break free.

"But..." The young man pointed towards Lei Feng. "We like men."

Lei Feng froze. Sweat flooded like an ocean across his face as the Blood Fiend Sect members glared at him with lustful eyes.

"What!" Lei Feng roared. "Man to man is against nature. Don’t you know the heavens would be angry?"

While Bai Ruo and Jia Xin smiled bitterly, Jia Xin stopped struggling.

"Lei Feng and Li Ming, try to get more time. I’ll think of a plan," Bai Ruo said. She lowered her lips in depression. "Don’t worry, Master and Jia Xin won’t tell anyone. Your dignity will be protected."

"Damn you, blood suckers!" Lei Feng shrieked. "If you’ve got guts, just kill me."

"What are you doing?" Jia Xin shouted. "A few hours. Just bear it."

Li Ming tilted his head. He found the Blood Fiend Sect members were locked on Lei Feng. "They have eyes only for First Senior Brother." He exhaled with a slight grin. "I’m saved."

"What! Only me?" Lei Feng hissed, hearing his junior brother.

The Blood Fiend Sect members were now in their underwear.

"Yes." They nodded.

"That guy is too muscular," one said.

"I hate big guys." Another joined.

"He is average."

"Whereas you’re handsome."

Jia Xin scrutinised her senior brother. He was handsome, as they had mentioned. His face had delicate features. His skin was porcelain white, and he had a medium build. ’Noble ladies would be jealous of him.’ She mused, shaking her head. ’But without power, handsomeness is just trouble.’

Lei Feng raised his head. "So, this is how I’m gonna lose my dignity?" His eyes were filled with tears. He never expected his handsomeness would cause such a problem.
