I cheated on my Mum.
The main benefit of family functions is that they keep relationships alive.
After my baptism, many friends who were not in touch started talking with my family again.
Those who were in touch with us got closer.
Some of Mum’s friends started visiting us regularly, and my aunt also started visiting us almost every day.
Actually, she was the only relative we were close with, and she was just looking for an excuse to visit us more often.
Mum and that aunt were not on good terms.
To my Mum, she was the annoying sister-in-law.
But still, I had a good impression of that lady.
In my previous life, she was the one who helped us the most and tried to save me the most.
“Come here, my little puppy.” She said playfully as she picked me up.
“Why are you looking at me?
Don’t you like me?”
I smiled.
“See…
He likes me.” She was happy.
It was a Sunday, and she was visiting us again for a completely random reason.
She brought her five-year-old son, and he was playing with Anu.
“I have an idea.
Why don’t you leave the kids with me and go to Trivandrum?
I can take care of them for a day.
How can you have such a long journey with this baby?” She asked Mum.
Apparently, something was going on in Mum’s office.
There was a guy who was a temporary substitute for Mum in her office.
Mum’s superior hated him, and there was nothing he could do.
He wanted to get rid of the substitute as soon as possible.
So he denied Mum’s application for extending the leave.
So Mum and Dad decided to go to the capital of our state to file a direct application.
Something like this happened in my previous life as well.
This second application was also sabotaged by her superior.
So Mum became angry and resigned.
As a result, the substitute guy became permanent, and the superior hated it.
“That would be trouble for elder sister.” Dad rejected it politely.
“Trouble?
I am a mother of three, and I was washing your buttocks when you were a baby.” She retorted.
I laughed.
Anu laughed.
Dad’s face turned sour.
He regretted making his sister talk.
There was a gap of ten years between her and my dad.
When he was a baby, their mother passed away.
So it was this aunt who took care of Dad.
“If you leave them with me, then you can go early in the morning and return in the evening.” Aunt persuaded Dad.
The capital city was about six hours on the bus from my home.
So I wasn’t happy with the journey.
Three days later, Mum and Dad left for Trivandrum early in the morning.
They decided to go by car to reduce time.
Anu and I were taken home by our aunt.
Her name is Jeena, and she had three kids in my previous life.
Her husband was abroad and taking care of their business there.
In a few years, he would sell the business and return home.
It was a long day.
I had no idea that staying away from Mum would be so difficult.
Even with my intelligent brain, I found it a bit difficult to stay away from Mum.
Now I know why the kids cry for their Mums.
Anyway, the real trouble began later.
“How can you milk a human and keep it for later?
These white people are ruining our culture.” Aunty complained as she checked my feeding bottle again and again.
She wasn’t against bottle feeding.
She was against using Mum’s own milk for that.
She totally hated the fact that she had to warm it before feeding.
This confused me a bit.
If my knowledge was right, it wasn’t that uncommon in our culture either.
“To hell with this.
I am a mother of three, and I washed your dad’s buttocks when he pooped.
I can handle you easily.” She chanted her magic words as she took out her feeding organ.
For a moment, I didn’t understand what was happening.
By the time I realised what was happening.
It was in my mouth.
I stared at her in shock.
“What are you looking at?
Isn’t mine to your liking?” She asked playfully.
“…”
“I have taken care of three kids and your dad.
I won’t let you go without drinking.” She kept saying the annoying words again and again.
“Good boy.
Was it better than your Mum’s?” She asked.
I slowly understood why Mum hated her, and Dad had a wry smile every time it came to this sister.
“Keep it a secret between us.
If your Mum comes to know about it, that skin bag will start another fight.”
I didn’t like her calling my Mum a skin bag.
But I couldn’t complain unless I exposed the fact that I could talk.
Hours passed.
With no other choice, I pissed and pooped once.
It wasn’t that bad.
She skillfully held me using her arms.
Then she started asking me to poop.
“Go on…
Make some gold.
When your dad was a baby…”
With no strength to hear the story again, I pooped and pissed at the same time as quickly as possible.
She had no problem cleaning me.
She was even better than Mum.
But I hated it.
Because from now on she would tell everyone that she washed my buttocks.
For the rest of my life, I will end up facing the same embarrassment my dad faces.
In between, Anu got into a fight with our cousins once.
She scolded everyone and threatened to beat them if they didn’t behave.
I didn’t feel that bad about being breastfed by her.
The reason was that her actions in my previous life indeed were worthy of respect.
She was the kind of person who is annoying on the outside but loving and caring on the inside.
If my assumption is right, then in my previous life also she breastfed me, and that’s why she was so caring toward me.
I fell asleep at some point in time.
When I woke up, I was in Mum’s arms.
The aunt was praising me for what a good boy I had been all day.
It felt really nice.
I snuggled into my happy position, and she gladly hugged me.
Half an hour later we were at our home.
Irrespective of how good the aunt was, staying in Mum’s arms in my own home felt a lot more comfortable.
So…
I cheated on Mum with another Mum.
But no one is going to tell her.
So I am safe.
