Yesterday, when Wang Fang’s photos were sent over, Cheng Yu had been itching all night.

Now, seeing her in person

Cheng Yu’s gaze swept sharply over Xu Mian.Full novel: I Only Got a Divorce how Did I End up Becoming the White Moonlight — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Beautiful!

Stunning!

Long legs, slender and straight, hair cascading down, a black hat shading her pretty eyes but even just like this, Cheng Yu felt his heart skip a beat.

“Hey, beautiful, your mom asked me to pick you up for dinner.”

Xu Mian didn’t even lift an eyelid, her tone icy. “Go away.”

Cheng Yu let out a low whistle. “So wild.”

“But I like wild ones,” he added.

Saying that, Cheng Yu got out of the car and held out his hand to Xu Mian.

Li Lai had already taken out her phone, ready to capture Xu Mian being flirted with.

Next second.

A scream, like a pig being slaughtered!

Cheng Yu’s fingers were bent backward, and he collapsed to his knees.

The wind scattered Xu Mian’s long hair. She tilted her head and smiled wickedly. “Like wild, huh?”

Applying a little more force, Cheng Yu was flattened on the ground, prostrate. “Wild enough?” he croaked in desperation.

Only then did Xu Mian lazily release her grip. She cast Li Lai a calm glance and slowly boarded the bus waiting in front of her.

Li Lai’s hands trembled as she sat back in the driver’s seat, heart racing.

Xu Mian.

Is she crazy?

That temper… so fierce?

Cheng Yu, getting up from the ground, spat fiercely toward the direction of the bus. “Damn! You think you’re some prize catch! Me liking you is your luck!”

He got back into the car, muttering obscenities, “Born with a mother, raised by no one, you ”

But he didn’t finish his sentence.

A loud BANG!

The cars behind rear-ended him three in a row. Before Cheng Yu could react, his face had slammed into the steering wheel.

Inside the car, Wang Hao twisted his wrist and sent a message: “General Xie, it’s done.”

The first car hit was Li Lai’s, who had been watching the commotion. Her neck snapped to the side, and Cheng Yu lost a tooth, stumbling out of the car, muttering.

Wang Hao smiled, handing over his card. “If anything, contact my lawyer.” He clasped his hands behind his back, looking at Cheng Yu’s pained face. “Hmm, even uglier now.”

He snapped a photo and sent it to Xie Yan.

On the bus, Xie Yan smirked, pocketing his phone. He glanced at Xu Mian in the front row.

Her gaze was calm, looking out the window.

When they arrived at the usual stop, Xu Mian didn’t get off.

Xie Yan walked over and quietly reminded her, “Xu Mian, it’s your stop.”

Xu Mian pulled her eyes from the window and focused on Xie Yan’s face.

For a moment, she felt a strange sense of familiarity.

“This… have I met you before?” Xu Mian asked.

In that instant, she saw an almost startled expression on Xie Yan’s face.

But it was fleeting.

Just a few seconds.

Then, Xie Yan smiled.

The handsome man’s smile was like snow melting, making everything behind him fade into the background.

Then Xu Mian heard him say, “No, we haven’t met.”

Xu Mian nodded. Her stop arrived. She stood, passed by Xie Yan, and got off.

Xie Yan stood there, frozen for a long moment.

Once he recovered, he watched her back as she walked away.

A low smile crossed his lips. “So cool.”

Wang Zhen arrived at the racetrack.

The night was pitch black.

Suddenly, a light blazed through.

Cheers erupted around the first appearance of “Mo Shen” in five years.

The crowd went wild!

Mo Shen’s career boasts 10 F1 championships a record no one has broken in all these years.

That same year, she founded the Thunder Racing Team, winning the team championship with her dominance and consistency, becoming the new “Queen of Racing.”

Wherever she raced, she claimed victory.

Even after disappearing for five years, legends of her still circulated.

With a whistle, the cars shot off the starting line.

Under the shifting lights, the drifting cars left spectators and commentators dizzy, leaving only screams and cheers.

Engines roared like thunder, and Wang Zhen, watching the red car speed past, screamed in shock.

Inside, Xu Mian drove with one hand. She loved the thrill, the speed, and the absolute control in the tight space.

The race lasted five laps, ending with an overwhelming victory.

Wang Zhen held her face, barely making out Mo Shen’s figure from afar.

For some reason,

Wang Zhen felt that figure was familiar.

As if…

she had seen it somewhere before.

Meanwhile, at Shenghao Hotel.

Shen Yanci kept his gaze outside. His assistant, Li Juan, swallowed nervously. “Mr. Shen, should we go back? There are so many reporters at the entrance if they see you, your ‘aloof flower’ image might be ruined.”

After all, everyone knew about Mr. Li’s affairs.

Shen Yanci held a cup, his expression slightly tense.

He lowered his voice. “Did you see Xu Mian?”

Li Juan scanned the surroundings and shook her head. “No. Does Miss Xu know you’re here?”

“Impossible,” Shen Yanci said. “She knows so many people in the entertainment industry there’s no way she wouldn’t know I arranged dinner with Director Li tonight.”

Just as he finished speaking,

Li Juan’s face went pale. “Mr. Shen, I didn’t see Miss Xu but I saw Director Li she came in!”

Shen Yanci frowned, checking his phone empty.

“Shen Yanci.” Li Qingrun slid back her chair, smiling at the male celebrity opposite her.

If she set her sights on someone in the circle, she always got them.

Except for this Shen Yanci.

Too proud.

Forget sleeping with him he wouldn’t even drink with a glass of wine, and his agent wouldn’t allow it.

Now, he had taken the initiative to invite her.

Li Qingrun swirled her glass of red wine, her gaze playful as it rested on Shen Yanci’s chest. “Taking the initiative today don’t tell me it’s just to tease me?”

Li Qingrun was in her forties. Her previous wealthy husband had abused her. After a sudden accident, she inherited his fortune, flipped her life around, and pursued her singing career as if repaying all the wrongs her husband had done.

Everyone in the circle knew how lavishly she played her game.

She didn’t like small talk and got straight to the point.

“Mr. Shen, are you interested in accompanying me tonight?”

Shen Yanci glanced at the door, smiling calmly. “Just catching up.”

Li Qingrun slammed her fork and knife on the plate, unimpressed, her expression a forced smile. “Shen Yanci, you know I don’t like catching up.”
