Chapter 4: Monarch-Tier Summoner

I Only Summon Amazon Giantesses

Summons were ranked by different tiers based on their potential and power, including that of their summoner’s. Their strength and potential heavily determines the fate of their summoner.

They were measured from Basic tier (1.0-3.4), Elite tier (3.5-5.4), High tier (5.5-7.9), Champion tier (8.0-10.0), and finally to the Monarch tier (10.1-12.9).

Most with the highest tiers were rare and infamous around the world, it was hard to find such outside the powerful families, but some belonged to the authorities and top guilds who made them stronger by raiding deadly dungeons.

If a summoner acquires a high-ranked and powerful summon, they would appear as an unstoppable presence over mass. They would be an influence over this recent world, just like the Dark Summoner a century ago, who was one of the pioneers of this age.

But he was branded with the ominous title because everyone fears to call out his real name which had a belief of fetching bad luck or raising him back. Among the ancient summoners then, Arvada got a powerful summon which he named Kadabra.

However, he was the most dangerous and powerful summoner who had a strong taste for influence over the new summoner world to the extent of a possessed fanatic by trying to conquer the nations with his mighty abilities.

Due to his immense and blind greed for power, he lost his life in an incident over the Great War and vanished long since, but before then, he had followers that performed secret rituals.

Their presence wasn’t identified again after the fall of their great master.

During the time of his dominant conquest, he made people enslaved even with their own summons. By then, during the initial phase of Mana Age, not every one had gotten the power to withstand magical beings like him, and there weren’t enough capable summoners to stop him.

But even if, it was futile and useless over the presence of his primally incredible powers. There was also massive slaughter of over millions of lives that greatly affected the population at that time when people had chosen to go against his will.

It was really one of the most terrific records that had occurred in human history.

Mark inhaled as he moved through the crowd that gave him a walking path to pass through. Many eyes of the freshmen tracked his movements as they realized that he wasn’t really one of them.

When he reached the pentagon-shaped podium, Williams gestured for him to stand at the position where the projector-like machine was facing.

The technician began to work on activating the machine that began to hum with vibrating energy.

Williams glanced at his assistant, Mary who nodded and looked over the mana device she held. The device flashed on with light, ready to record any mana signature to get any results.

Then he placed a hand over Mark’s shoulder who turned slightly to him. "This isn’t your first time, so I won’t have to instruct you on what you should behave."

Mark exhaled. " Yeah, I do know. I would see myself within the glimpse of a void space, before I recover."

Williams nodded before backing away to give him vicinity at the central stage for the procedure to start. All eyes on him as the machine released jets of magical beams that fell over his body like snow.

Mark felt a chill that travelled down his spine as everything around him dulled away when he shut his eyes with a deep inhale, before opening it to find himself in a different world.

He looked around the vast interior of an immense hall where colossal pillars on both sides supported the lofty ceiling, with a central path that spanned like a double high-way road.

The entire place was abnormally large for a normal human to stand. It was so grandiose and extraordinary to his own eyes that he was taken aback.

He looked around with awe as he walked along the length of the huge passway.

"Wasn’t I supposed to appear suspended in a void or something? Then what’s this place and where am I?" He muttered to himself.

After three steps he was already before a giant spiraling staircase with steps that towered his height. The blocks seemed to be made of pristine marble that came from magic.

Mark could only blink at how fast forwarded he was moved, and how bigger the place just appeared the more he moved.

The next moment he appeared before a giant double door with bronze surface that was cold to his touch.

Outside, the screen of the large projector-like machine where the man operated buzzed with information that flashed which made his eyes wide with shock as he nearly spilled his drink.

The screen showed that the current young man who was tested was unbelievable and terrifying!

"His... his a 12.5 Monarch Tier summoner with an unknown potential? That’s... insane." The man found himself to be trembling with shock that held his own body.

Just who really was the person that was before him? No, this must have been a malfunction from the machine’s operation, it always happened all the time.

But for some reason, there was a feeling of doubt over his claim that lingered in his mind. He couldn’t tell.

Mary’s eyes trembled as her lips quivered at the result displayed at the screen. This made the headmaster come closer with quizzal look on his face.

"His... his a 12.5 Monarch Tier summoner with an unknown potential? That’s... insane," she uttered with a shocked tone in her voice that made the headmaster blink.

"12.5 tier potential, right? Right?" Williams’ face was beginning to drain in color.

"No, it’s actually the tier! The potential is something that’s unknown and incalculable, which means..." Mary’s voice trailed off with lots of drained air from her own lungs before she inhaled back.

Right then, something swirled beside Mark’s body like a river of magical dust that formed a figure which revealed itself with the clicking sound of heels on the hard floor of the platform.

The display of spectacular light work from the swirling energy stunned everyone with surprise and shock, the crowd could only hope for a traditionally legendary summon from the look of it.

A majestic woman with vivid orange hair tied into twin ponytails that best fitted her sea-blue eyes in a round-shouldered sleeveless brown minigown that stopped right at her upper thigh with a pleated hem, stood imposingly like a soldier. The short pelvic curtain fell between her long powerful legs.

Williams’ heart skipped at the sight of her charming presence that caught him for a moment. But what was really his deal by getting an ordinary female warrior as a summon? It was unusual to be frank.

A/N: Guess the surprise, if you can. Do remember to support with powerstones and golden ticket if it was fantastic
