The Water Ghost, who had just finished an intense encounter, hummed a little tune as he staggered down the road.
His pale, swollen face was unexpectedly glowing with uncanny vitality.
“What a truly trustworthy Good Doctor!”
The Water Ghost patted his enormous kidney and muttered, “If one is already this effective, then if I took two…”
At this thought, a trace of fanaticism rose in his eyes.
Just then, the Water Ghost saw a solitary Female Ghost standing in the distance.
The Female Ghost slowly drifted over, seemingly saying something under her breath.
“Doctor…”
“I need a doctor…”
Soon, the ghostly figure drifted in front of the Water Ghost.
Behind her curtain-like black hair, a pair of murky crimson eyes fixed coldly on the Water Ghost. The woman’s venomous voice rang out: “Damn you, why do you look different?”
When he saw the Female Ghost before him, the Water Ghost’s eyes lit up, as though he had spotted prey.
His entire being became much more spirited.
“Haha, right? I didn’t expect it to be so obvious. You don’t know this, but a new Doctor has come to the community. He cured my illness.”
“A new… Doctor?” The Female Ghost’s voice became even sharper, revealing no joy or anger. “The previous Doctor was dismembered by that damned woman from the Convenience Store. Someone still dares come here?”
“Of course! His medical arts are excellent. Do you need a Doctor? You can go and try him. I guarantee you won’t regret it,” the Water Ghost introduced.
“That… that’s wonderful. I found a Doctor… This time, I have to be careful. I… I can’t take him apart.” The Female Ghost’s voice trembled, as though she were extremely excited.
After saying this, she ignored the Water Ghost and drifted dozens of meters away in an instant.
The Water Ghost stood where he was and muttered, “That’s not right. If I’m not there, how will the Doctor know she’s a customer I brought him? No, I have to make sure I’m noticed!”
“If the Doctor is happy, maybe he’ll make another kidney for me!”
…………
The Female Ghost moved very quickly.
But when she arrived at the clinic, she found the door closed.
Her movements halted, and clumps of black mist began to pour from her body.
Dense ghost aura surged into the heavens!
At that moment, the Female Ghost’s voice changed.
At times, it sounded like a kind and delicate woman: “I… I want to go back.”
At other times, it became vicious and resentful: “Useless thing, I have to find the Doctor. I must!”
“Only if I find the Doctor will he be willing to see me.”
As she said this, the other voice vanished.
The Female Ghost raised her head and snarled, “Damn Water Ghost, you actually dared deceive me. Next time, I’ll drain every drop of your blood!”
The Female Ghost’s eyes were filled with venom, but then she noticed a note pasted on the door.
“House calls at the Market?”
“Perfect. I’ll go see whether he’s really that capable!”
After determining the direction, the Female Ghost quickly drifted toward the Market.
…………
Xu Qing stood on the back of the Stitched Monster, using a Scale-Scraping Knife to slice off pieces of flesh cleanly.
The process was arduous!
But it was incredibly cathartic!
Throughout the process, the Stitched Monster remained fully conscious.
But because of the anesthetic potion’s effects, he could not move at all.
After slicing off the final piece of flesh, Xu Qing let out a long breath.
He had fulfilled his duty!
The surgery had been a complete success!
He had cut off the entire buttocks. Forget a mere case of hemorrhoids—even the constipation problem had been solved!
“However… the surgical scar is a little serious.”
“As a professional Doctor, how can I leave behind such an obvious wound?”
Looking at the wound where even the thighbone was visible, Xu Qing furrowed his brows.
This concerned his reputation.
He absolutely could not be careless.
Just then, he saw clumps of minced flesh at the doorway.
“Haha, a genius Doctor can always find a way to Treat Illnesses under any difficult circumstances!”
“And I’m a genius among geniuses!”
The Stitched Monster lay on the ground, listening to Xu Qing’s excited voice as resentment continuously accumulated in his heart.
Since being born into this world, the Stitched Monster had never felt such fury!
He had actually been toyed with by a weak human!
Unforgivable!
He had to chop him into minced meat and eat him all up!
The anesthetic potion’s effects began to fade.
And then…
Unprecedented, excruciating pain struck in an instant.
The Stitched Monster’s eyes bulged, and he passed out helplessly.
Xu Qing did not notice the Stitched Monster.
He went to the door and picked the scraps out of the trash can.
During this, he saw a drifting ghost by the roadside.
The Female Ghost’s gaze seemed to remain focused on him the entire time.
Xu Qing was neither flustered nor alarmed.
He had gradually grown accustomed to scenes like this.
A genius Doctor was naturally outstanding wherever he went!
At this thought, he raised his head and gave the Female Ghost a sunny smile.
The Female Ghost was startled.
No… something was wrong.
This fellow… was smiling at her?
Was he not afraid of her?
Thinking of the previous human doctor, who had been frightened into losing control of his senses by her,
the Female Ghost felt utterly humiliated.
Terrifying ghost aura immediately erupted from her body.
But at that very moment, the ghost aura around her suddenly withdrew.
She suddenly became a delicate Female Ghost!
Immediately afterward, she even drifted in front of Xu Qing and enthusiastically helped him lift the trash can!
“Thanks.”
Xu Qing dug out the scraps of minced flesh while smiling and said, “You’re truly such a helpful good ghost.”
The Female Ghost smiled but said nothing.
“He should be the Doctor I’m looking for, right?”
“His white lab coat is a little dirty, but he certainly looks like a Doctor.”
“As long as I take him away, everything will be fine.”
“Mm, it’s very simple. There’s no need to be afraid.”
Just as the Female Ghost was thinking this, the corner of her eye caught the Stitched Monster lying unconscious on the ground beside them.
Behind her long hair, her face became filled with terror.
Am I seeing this correctly?
The Butcher Shop Owner… had been dissected?
“What do you need these for?” The Female Ghost looked at Xu Qing, who was still digging through the minced flesh. Her voice began to tremble, and she unconsciously took two steps back.
Something was wrong!
This fellow was not a Doctor!
How could a Doctor Treat Illnesses like this?
“You just don’t understand!”
Xu Qing chuckled. He spread the minced flesh on the chopping board, then took a large bottle of glue from the medicine case.
This had to be a joke.
This had to be a dream, right?
How could a Doctor carry around so much glue?
“Is this also part of Treating Illnesses?”
The Female Ghost had already begun questioning her entire existence as a ghost.
There had been several doctors in Happiness Community before.
Never had any of them used a treatment method as unusual as Xu Qing’s.
“Of course. As a Doctor, it’s only natural to encounter all kinds of difficult and unusual illnesses.” Xu Qing mixed the minced flesh with the glue, then, before it had completely hardened, stuffed it onto the Stitched Monster’s buttocks.
Afterward, Xu Qing stepped onto the Stitched Monster.
He jumped up with all his strength.
Once!
Twice!
……
Boing, boing, boing…
He intended to use his own weight to press the glue-mixed minced flesh firmly into the Stitched Monster’s body.
The Female Ghost: “……”
Without the slightest hesitation, she turned around and left immediately!
This illness was beyond her ability to Treat!
She had finally seen the truth.
This guy was not a Doctor at all!
He was clearly a frankenstein!
